The smallest breath gives us life
Within that breath is our inner light
The light that shines within our soul
The smallest breath creates diamonds from coal
Void of breath we are body’s inanimate
Struggling through, wearing life like a tunicate
Breath brings life like rain to a flower
Without our breath we cease to generate power
The smallest breath a thoughtless notion
Without this breath no locomotion
No moving forward and no moving back
Devoid of the smallest breath the heart is attacked
Take the smallest breath for what it’s worth
Grandiosely innocent at time of birth
Receive this breath from elsewhere then in
With not even the smallest breath we are paper thin
Sitting legs in a cross at peak inhalation
The calm breath brings deep meditation
If I should drowned let that be my choice
But if I should sing let the smallest breath be my voice
