Alicia Freddo graduated seven years ago from the university but she's got no job despite trying hard to get one. When she left for Calabar, hoping that she would get employed at the Obudu cattle ranch, little did she know that life for her has just begun?

In her first attempt at a job interview in Calabar, she met a lot of applicants than she have met in her entire interview sessions in Lagos. After the written interview with questions drawn from logic, the interviewers came in and started giving talks about how door-door marketing has taken over as a means of reaching the final consumer. Alicia looked with disdain in her eyes, knowing what the end of the interview would be, she just walked away, frustrated.

As she walked back home, she saw a signpost with an inscription:

House help needed.

She just wanted to do something. So, she walked into the gate and asked about the job. The other staff in the compound told her:

Someone has already started the work.

"Why the heck will that signpost still be hung there?" Alicia thought to herself as she wandered away into the streets.

That night when she got home, she just made cold tea with bread for dinner. After devouring it, she slept off on the couch. When she woke up, it was already 2:00 am.

On Sunday, Alicia went to church to seek the face concerning her many challenges. She did this wholeheartedly.

The message of the day was centered on ancient curses which may hamper individuals from reaching their goals. And their deliverance to set free from the curse could be self-induced. It was a heart-touching message as the preacher mentioned life experiences that could be indicating a cursed life.

After the service, Alicia was taking a short route back home when he accosted an old classmate, Okoh who has become the chief executive of a big firm. They exchanged pleasantries and talked more about life after the university. Alicia shared her predicament with Okoh who told her not to worry, everything will be fine. He gave her his complimentary card and suggested that she comes to his office.

One wet Wednesday, Alica decided to visit Okoh at his office. It was a huge company.

At the reception, Alicia submitted all the complimentary cards and immediately to rhe receptionist. Quickly, the secretary took it inside the office before confirming that she was qualified to new with her boss. To her surprise, her boss began to say he doesn't know her.

I didn't remember giving anyone my card. Please, I don't want to see any strangers.

When Alicia heard this, she was so dazed and ashamed. She has borrowed even the transport fare just to meet with her supposed destiny helper. But now, the future for her only got darker. Then, she remembered the message she heard at the church concerning breaking ancient curses.

After a serious session of deliverance prayers was gel, the pastor requested that everyone drop every dime with them in to the offering box. At first, Alicia wanted to share the remaining money with her into two but in a second taught, she had pay wall she has to drop everything.

While Alicia trekked back home, a car offered to give her a lift. Who's she to object the offer? The driver was so I nquisitive that he asked too many questions.

Wow ❗ that seemed unbelievable though.

What's your qualification?

Does he have a job for me? Alicia asked herself.

I have a degree in .

That's a great course. Would you be able to lecture if you have the opportunity? Okoh asked.

I will do just anything to get engaged.

The following week, after a rigorous session of interview, Alicia Freddo finally got the job

All her years of trouble and joblessness are love. Thanks to the pastor who help break the ancient curse.
