The Top Ten Bitcoin Cash Obituaries Of 2022–2023 - Bitcoin Cash Died A Thousand Deaths!
Bitcoin Cash attracts various modern prophets of doom, which only raises questions regarding the reasons and targets of this group of individuals.
In this story, we cover ten recent Bitcoin Cash obituaries published in 2022 and 2023.
As with the previous part, the rules are the same:
A clear description that Bitcoin Cash is or will be worthless (presenting bitcoin cash as weak, shitcoin, obsolete, and so on).
The source (person, news media, social media account) that published the statement much have substantial traffic or views.
Let’s get rolling!
Number 10: Samson Mow (BCH: $222)
Lol. Almost forgot Bcash existed.
At $222 (June 30, 2022)
Samson displays the traits of an adult who has not yet fully matured.
Due to his close partnership with Blockstream, he gained significant recognition and became a well-known figure in the cryptocurrency industry.
However, he also became notorious for his toxic behavior and aggressive interactions within Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency community.
Several individuals referred to him as a toxic troll, including Bitcoin developers Gavin Andresen and Matt Corallo.
An educated and married grown man, with a childish fascination with toys and a lack of self-esteem.
Number 9: Bitcoin Isaiah (BCH: $102)
BCash is long dead.
$102 (June 30, 2022)
On Twitter
One of the BTC-neomaximalists offering vast parody content, in support of Blockstream’s vision for full custodian LN.
Number 8: Adam Simecka (BCH: $115)
It’s actually dead. Literally Dead.
$115 (June 21, 2023)
Talk about timing!
This obituary was posted right at the bottom, with Bitcoin cash immediately starting an explosive rally and achieving 200% gains in the following days!
Number 7: Matthew R. Kratter (BCH: $135)
Bitcoin Cash is Trash
$115 (August 3, 2022)
A propaganda video by a YouTuber (Bitcoin University) who is also selling … Bitcoin courses?
If the course is not related to teaching programming basics on Bitcoin (which is highly unlikely), then it is advisable to view this channel with caution.
If anyone wants to learn Bitcoin fundamentals through videos, the early work of Andreas Antonopoulos is the best starting point. You know, those where Andreas mentions the need for a bigger blocksize in all his presentations.
Number 6: Reid McCrabb, Benzinga (BCH: $113)
Bitcoin Cash could potentially join the long list of dead coins
BCH price: $113 (June 15, 2022)
Apparently, the “experts” at Benzinga are “hard at work”.
The conclusion of the Benzinga obituary:
Bitcoin Cash may not survive this market sell-off. Historically, a long list of coins don’t survive bear markets.
With few bull cases, Bitcoin Cash could potentially join the long list of dead coins.
If markets reverse, Bitcoin Cash will likely rise with Bitcoin. However, if this is a prolonged crypto winter, there is no telling whether Bitcoin Cash will ever return to its all-time highs.
- Reid McCrabbSource
Reid is coping, but he could take a few lessons from the next one on our list!
Number 5: Sam Cooling, Cryptonews (BCH: $236)
A struggling chart structure could see BCH heading for zero in the near future.
BCH price: $236 (July 18, 2023)
From the article:
Spectators and analysts alike are predicting a race to zero could soon be on the horizon.
The rest articles by Sam Cooling also express anti-BCH hatred and propaganda, probably trying to appeal to the mindless maximalists and earn a position of fame in the laser-eyed circles:
Anyway, a fine obituary and we all hope Sam posts anti-BCH propaganda nonstop so we can feature him in our next edition!
All those “to zero” predictions are always hilarious.
Holding a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and resorting to propaganda articles on Cryptonews looks like the best career choice for this young man.
Number 4: Grubles, Twitter (BCH: $111)
Bcash is so dead
BCH price: $111 (November 30th, 2022)
Grubles:
Also Grubles:
The Coinbase wallet offered a terrible user experience and no user of Bitcoin Cash will miss it (actually nobody was using it).
Here is the Bitcoin Cash wallets infrastructure, wallets created to support instant payments, smart contracts, and self-custody of funds:
Number 3: Jerry Banfield Crypto, (BCH: $220)
Bitcoin Cash is obviously a terrible crypto investment
BCH price: $220 (June 30th, 2023)
Sometimes just reading how content creators advertises themselves suggests more than what they have to say:
“I am a YouTuber who has earned $2+ million online…”
Number 2: u.today (BCH: $110)
…almost no investor is interested in Bitcoin Cash.
BCH price: $110 (December 1st, 2022)
Nobody needs a new BTC, as the primary cryptocurrency already fulfills its role of being decentralized and uncensored money very well, unlike BCH.
When you have never used BTC outside of an exchange, that’s what you think.
Misleading the public will not solve BTC’s scalability issues.
$50 fees will soon be the normal, not the exception.
With influential figures on the crypto market, such as Vitalik Buterin, highlighting that Bitcoin Cash is a failure…
Vitalik undid this later, in June 2023:
These “journalists” seem like they are on a hunt for a better paycheck, trying to please the eyes and ears of their maximalists’ overlords.
Number 1: Lark Davis, YouTube ((BCH: $113)
I personally see very little hope for it in the future.
BCH price: $113 (March 12, 2022)
Some of the comments on Lark’s presentation of Bitcoin Cash:
Know your counter indicators and cherish them.
In Conclusion
As an investor, these signs of speculators attacking an asset or project suggest that we should research them more. Having all these non-credible individuals and websites attacking Bitcoin Cash suggests this is a groundbreaking technology with vast potential.
Companies, products, or networks that prioritize functionality and innovation, and deliver vast utility and value to our society will always shine despite vile media propaganda by competitors.
Undoubtedly, these obituaries are amusing, as they consistently express exaggerated perspectives and catastrophic predictions for Bitcoin Cash.
We keep an eye out for additional obituaries to feature in future editions.

hmm.., I wonder how they would think when they start using BTC as a method of payment. Let's say for an online job that costs $10?
This leads to another question... what's an asset for if you can't practically use it?
