Return To The Dream
It is difficult to think of an introduction after a long period of absence.
I was away for more than a month because I had to commit to tasks outside of crypto. Writing demands time which I couldn't find.
Moreover, quite a few hostile and ill-mannered individuals exist within every crypto community, making the writing tasks more difficult and frustrating, especially when there's not enough time at our disposal. I had to stop responding and pause all writing and social media activity to focus on a different task. Was it worthwhile? Probably not. Nevertheless, conditions were not ideal lately with crypto or writing.
What a surprise I received when I logged into my account again after all this time!
I've reached 100,000 views on my articles at read.cash!
A big THANK YOU to all my followers and readers!
I hope to be able to deliver valuable and entertaining content again!
Crypto, Bitcoin Cash & The Bear Market
I haven't sold my Bitcoin Cash.
I bought more BCH instead and other cryptocurrencies too, aiming to create a solid crypto portfolio (no BTC, though).
There will be better days, although things can always get worse before the market finds the final bottom.
The price of BCH didn't even bounce since it dropped to the current abysmal depths.
It is weird and unexpected to see such low interest (demand) in the markets for BCH, which was a coin that dominated the market between 2017-2021.
It is disappointing to watch prices drop. It gets worse when we commit to supporting cryptocurrencies but forget all the warnings and risks involved.
However, I believe the bearish cycle will end sometime soon.
No, prices won't begin pumping non-stop like in the first half of 2021. It has to stabilize at some point which is not far.
New cryptocurrencies, new trends and new opportunities will appear.
We are in it for the profit and looking for opportunities. Ideals back crypto, though.
Freedom (economic) and the escape from the suffering banks and authoritarian regimes cause worldwide is the quintessence of the crypto dream.
The expansive public sector, the rising debt of nations, and the crumbling economies are currently generating the most unpredictable economic environment ever.
The charts give hope for the overall market, but some cryptocurrencies seem to lose their appeal to the crypto public. Unfortunately, Bitcoin Cash did not escape the bearish cycle. The bear market severely impacted BCH and our portfolio.
As things are getting back to normal, I've found time these last few days to focus on crypto again, and I've also watched the last two YouTube videos by Marc De Mesel (link1, link2).
I'm deeply concerned with the escalation of the troubles Marc is facing in Kenya. Corruption within government officials is frightening.
And in this case, corruption reaches extortion status.
Hopefully, there will be an end to these ridiculous accusations against Marc, but I got to admit I've never seen him more concerned before.
I feel sad there's not much I can do about this issue besides providing support through my work. I wish I could help with a different approach.
In Marc's previous video, I can agree on the part that BCH adoption efforts did not bring the expected results.
This fact should concern the initiatives that received multiple BCH to accomplish certain targets. It should also trouble the donators and everyone that wants Bitcoin Cash to succeed.
We expected people to start using Bitcoin Cash on a massive scale, but this didn't happen yet.
High inflation did not trigger a move into cryptocurrency, people did not change their habits, and commercial transactions remain low, unable to make an impact. Perhaps the overall Crypto industry does not challenge fiat lately, as the overwhelming number of crypto investors do not care for its true potential.
Conclusion
So, after about 45 days of inactivity, I found the time to resume creating content.
I'm also back at noise.cash and noise.app, where I connected a wallet and started receiving some BCH tips! I don't know who sends these tips yet, but I hope to find out!
I missed writing and enjoying the work of all of you, the marvelous people I've met in this community.
Sincerely grateful to everyone that mentioned or messaged me during this time on all platforms.
