A New Bitcoin Cash Service for Financial Privacy

Cashfusion is a top privacy tool on the electron cash wallet, although besides it BCH owners have no alternatives.

Chris Troutner is running a flipstarter aiming to develop a second privacy option, a Coinjoin wallet, a service supplementary to Cashfusion.

With this fundaising campaign via Flipstarter, Chris will develop a new Bitcoin Cash wallet which will also be compatible with SLP and Cash Tokens, the new Bitcoin Cash upgrade (May 2023).

Taking steps to enhance our financial privacy will also require additional tools to safeguard funds in the blockchain economy.

More tools for Bitcoin Cash users equals more options to protect our funds and identity.

With Conjoin, multiple payments by different BCH owners are joined into a single transaction generating mixed outputs.

The fundraising campaign expires in 5 days, with 74.28 BCH out of 113 requested already raised.

Chris mentioned the reasons Bitcoin Cash needs a second privacy option:

This Flipstarter campaign seeks to compliment CashFusion by creating a second app for participating in CoinJoin transactions.

Anyone can donate starting with an amount as low as 0.001BCH (~$0.11).

The modern donations system for flipstarter allows everyone to participate even with small amounts.

42 donators pledged Bitcoin Cash already, and the campaign seems to be getting closer to being filled.

Chris Troutner suggests a second system running in parallel and discussed critical questions regarding the need or the demand a second privacy service in Bitcoin Cash will attract.

Discussion on Reddit:

BCH Privacy Needs Your Support

I donated to Chris Troutner's campaign since having alternatives safeguards our rights to financial privacy.

Also, previously (a year ago) I presented a tutorial on Cashfusion with RPA Paycodes:

In Conclusion

Considering all possibilities, the privacy of our funds matters for apparent reasons.

Financial authorities can track transactions and trace the flow of illicit funds with modern analytic tools, although this is not the issue.

Criminal organizations can and have targeted individuals after tracking addresses and connecting addresses to identities.

Privacy tools block criminals from peeking into cryptocurrency addresses and target the owner. The protection of our financial sovereignty is of paramount importance.

The mainstream narrative regarding online crime, black markets, and AML manipulates the public opinion against cryptocurrencies and digital privacy.

Nonetheless, cryptocurrencies only perform a tiny portion of money laundering and illicit transaction practices.

Building tools to enhance our privacy is always a worthy cause.

Bit confusing / confused on the opening paragraphs there !!!!

Cashfusion is a top privacy tool on the electron cash wallet, although besides it BCH owners have no alternatives.

Chris Troutner is running a flipstarter aiming to develop a second privacy option, a Coinjoin wallet, a service supplementary to Cashshuffle.

Perhaps you meant to write Cashfusion in the 2nd one too?

Because Cashshuffle is indeed not the same as Cashfusion, and is indeed the existing alternative to Cashfusion, also available through the Electron Cash wallet.

Apparently one just has to make sure that Cashfusion is not running at the same time as Cashshuffle, because they don't play well together.

But what Chris is seeking to fund is another alternative coinjoin infrastructure.

I just wanted to point this out so that people are not confused, and you might want to correct your article in some way to point out that they're not the same.

Cashshuffle still works? I though it wasn't, or was it users stopped using it and only mixed coins with cashfusion? I have only used Cashfusion.
