I started using Publish0x back in February 2020, so basically I am still a baby on the platform and currently waiting for my 1 year anniversary. My brother @Heruvim78 recommended me to join it, same as he recommended me to join Read.Cash about a month ago. I assume if you are already on Read.Cash you have a good understanding about how blogging can bring an extra income. If here you are relying on people to tip you from their own wallet and hope that Rusty the Random Reward Bot will tip your posts, some other platforms are more person centered. @tired_momma this is kinda the next step after the "Which Wallet to use?" article and I honestly think that you would enjoy this platform.
How Publish is this different?
Every user has 6 tips which can use each day, and can choose how much to tip the author and how much to keep. The tip comes from a reward pool which makes a win/win situation for both the reader and the writer. The author can be tipped with a minimum 20% or with 100% of the tip. The first tip of the day is bigger than the remaining ones. As a result of the tipping systems, users can earn crypto from reading content. Once you open a Publish0x account, you can start reading and tipping but to write on the platform you have to apply for authorship. The process usually takes 3-4 days, unless is something dodgy with the application.
There are three cryptocurrencies integrated in the tipping system: Basic Attention Token (BAT), Loopring (LRC) and Ethereum (ETH). Guess what? Coinbase accepts all the above tokens so all can go in the same wallet. There is no rule on which coin will be rewarded. As I said above, I started in February 2020 and today I have 1122 followers and many new friends. You can make up to five different blogs and focus their content on different categories and niches. New posts are listed into the "New" tab therefore every new content can be easily checked. There are no communities and up to 5 tags can be used to guide your post towards the desired target. I think this process makes the search process easier.
Your followers will receive a notification when you post a new article, and you will receive a notification when the people you follow will post something new. There are Facebook groups for Publish0x authors, great interaction on Twitter and a Telegram group where the new posts can be shared with the community. The team is friendly and helpful. Quality content is always rewarded with the deserved attention and the human interaction will always be better than the hope that Rusty will notice your posts. On the first Monday of each month, the crypto income can be withdrew to the personal wallet, however for safe practice, the request must be done on the Sunday. Publish0x will make the payments using smart contracts, and if the user will use wallets that can't accept them, the funds may be lost. It is important to use Publish0x recommended wallets to avoid issues. All three tokens can be requested simultaneous but only one active payout request per token. A second payout request cannot be submitted if while having an active payout request.
