Having a good sleep is essential for an individual to maintain good health and well-being. When it comes to our health, sleep is one vital piece as regular exercise and having a balanced diet.
Nowadays almost around the world does not embraces the fact and necessity for adequate sleep, I’m aware of that but sometimes I don’t have enough sleep. This is one important thing that people need to make an effort to have enough sleep
I will discuss some of the many benefits that health experts associate with having enough sleep, here’s the following.
1. Lower Risk of Having Heart Disease
One reason why an indivual having heart disease is high blood pressure. According to a health expert getting an adequate rest each night allows the body’s blood pressure to regulate itself and have a low risk, so it can reduce the chances of certain conditions such as apnea breathing and overall it will promote better heart health.
2. Sleep helps to have a Good Calorie Regulation
There’s a study and evidence that getting a having enough sleep can help a person consume fewer calories during the day because some that don’t have enough sleep tend to eat more often. There’s a study in America that sleep patterns can affect the hormones and had a responsible for an appetite of an individual so when a person don’t have enough sleep, it can affect with the regulation of food intake in their body.
3. You can be so productive and concentrated
Scientist had several studies in the early 2000s that looked at the effects of sleep deprivation of an individual and the study shows and concluded that sleep has links to several brain functions, including:
·        Productivity
·        Concentration
·        Cognitive
So having good enough sleep can make you productive in your work, school or what you are doing every day in your life.
4. You can have stronger immune system
Covid-19 was still active and the pandemic had greater impact that affects everyone in the whole world, an individual needs to have a stronger immune system so you could protect yourselves to the virus Sleep helps our body to repair, regenerate, and recover. Our immune system is no exception to this relationship. A lot of research shows how better sleep can help our body fight off infection and it includes CORONA Virus.
 However, scientists & researchers still need to do further research into the exact mechanisms of sleep in regards to its impact on the body’s immune system.
5. Sleep can help us prevent Depression
Researcher’s associate sleep and mental health to be subject for a long time and one conclusion that they made was there’s a link between the two that lack of sleep can lead to depression. There’s a study of psychiatrist that examines the patterns of death by suicide over 10 years and they concluded that lack of sleep is one contributing factor to many of these deaths. So it is important for us to have enough sleep to lessen depression and overthinking always.

Sleeping is very important to our health, often neglected and doesn’t care to our health also I’m not excuse to that. Sleeping is one good component of every person’s overall health and well-being. Having a good sleep enables us and our body to active, concentrated, relax and to be fit, ready for another day in our life. This are not the only benefits of sleeping, there’s more.
