Let's take coffee lovers here..

I open my eyes in the morning and the first thing I do is brew coffee. Working in the Office My coffee cup is always full and on my desk. And of course, when I come home from work in the evening, I try to forget the tiredness of the day with a cup of coffee.

It's not over, it doesn't matter business meetings, family finds, my farovi drink is usually Americano.

Americano coffee, which is one of the most trendy drinks in cafes, is the coffee most preferred by those who count calories. There is a lot of misinformation about the americano, which has only 15 calories in a cup.

Although it is overshadowed by other popular and extra flavored drinks such as Mocha, Latte and Frappuccino, it is among the first choices of those who like to drink coffee in a plain and thin way and those who prefer to consume coffee without calories.

During the Second World War, American soldiers in Italy used to drink Italian espresso with water to meet their daily caffeine needs. Because espressos in Italy were too strong for Americans.

Italian coffee shops began to serve espresso softened by adding water under the name of americano to turn this habit of American soldiers into profit. Over time, Americano-type coffee became increasingly popular and began to spread in Europe. Soldiers returning to their country also popularized americano coffee in North America, and one of the world's favorite coffee types was born.

Americano coffee, obtained by mixing espresso and hot water, is one of the easiest coffees you can prepare at home. There are some tricks to consider when preparing an Americano with equal proportions of water and espresso.

There are two ingredients you need to prepare Americano coffee; espresso and boiling water. Before preparing your coffee, start from your cup. Put boiling water in your cup and let it heat up. Coffee put into a cold cup may lose some of its aroma and taste. Therefore, your first step when preparing coffee should always be to warm your cup.

Contents:

20-25 ml of espresso

Hot water (recommended preferably with a steam wand rather than any kettle)

Preparation of:

For the Americano recipe, you must first obtain espresso. Obtain 25-30 ml of espresso by flowing water at 90°C temperature from 7gr of ground coffee for 35 seconds with 9 bar (atmosphere) pressure.

Heat the drinking water with the heating rod of your machine or by using a different source (such as a kettle).

Add the heated water to the espresso with a maximum of 100ml.

Your Americano coffee is ready.

Do not add hot water to the espresso while it is boiling, make sure that the water you will use is rested for one or two minutes after boiling.

You can ask the person who wants to drink an Americano about the amount of hot water to be added to the espresso, and leave the amount adjustment to the drinker.

It is recommended to add a maximum of 100ml of hot water to the single espresso.
