Keep basic details sensitive
Your full card number, card expiry date, and CVV are sensitive. Always keep your card safely away from view when not in use. It is not advisable to drop card anywhere just because you over-trust the people around. A lot of close friends have betrayed their as a result of that.
Your PIN is personal
No one else should know about your PIN. The greatest mistake a lot of us make is that we try to write somewhere so we don't forget. Please, stop writing down.
Use hard PIN
Choose a PIN number that is hard to guess. Serial or sequential number like 1234, 5678, etc are easy to guess, so they are not recommended.
Use secure web for shopping
Try double-check the security of the web page before shopping online. Make sure there is padlock icon (https) in the address bar, and try shop only when you are running on private connection.
Ignore auto save of card details
Never save your card details on web browser. Hackers knows how to get some information on browsers, so always ignore when the prompt to save cards on browser comes.
Be vigilant
Always be very vigilant when you are in public. When using your card in public (on ATM, POS, etc) try as much as possible to shield or protect your details.
