What Is Air Pollution? Air pollution refers to the release of pollutants into the air that are detrimental to human health and this is caused by solid and liquid particles and certain gases that are suspended in the air. These particles and gases can come from factories, car and truck exhaust, dust, pollen, mold spores, volcanoes and wildfires. The solid and liquid particles suspended in the air are called aerosols.
Air pollution is becoming rampant in our society today because there have been more creation of causes of Air pollution (factories in particular). Air pollution causes a lot of bad effects which also includes incurable effects. Effects of Air pollution includes but not limited to the following:-
Long-term health effects from air pollution include heart disease, lung cancer, and respiratory diseases such as emphysema. Air pollution can also cause long-term damage to people's nerves, brain, kidneys, liver, and other organs.
We all need to take caution and reduce Air pollution to the lowest minimum because even the little actions we do like smoking, burning of bush, funmigation and fertilizer dust are also causes of Air pollution.
