Mental Shift.
Life deals with everyone differently
Stop taking everything on face value succinctly
Everyone keeps pushing through life boldly
Masking a lot underneath, putting their best foot forward
Life is for the bold, we all have it in us to act as a coward
You think you have the worst of it all with what you are going through
Until you listen to the issues others have to deal with
It's easier to brag about your dad's biggest farmland
Until you visit another person's dad's farmland as you take the humility pill
We have to keep pushing through life regardless of the happenings
Life mostly respond to pressure too when we hold on fast
It's about having the resilience and the courage that would last
There is no one with that rich or ugly past
We should be a primary character in our life's story, we play the cast
Nothing gets handed on a platter
It doesn't matter if you are a commoner or you matter
There is a place where we have to adopt the shift in mentality
Everyone will always talk, situations would always happen
Decisions might go against us at some point
It's not so much what others say but what you tell yourself when they are done talking
It's easier to feel that situations of life have you stalking
We mostly focus too much on the things that we are lacking
Forgetting to take into account the little things that we are adding
A mental shift starts with appreciation for the little things
Takes our focus off the problem to seeking solutions and feeling grateful
We all have at least one thing to be grateful for, stop feeling hateful
Situation of life happen to everyone in varying degrees, stop feeling shameful
Life Continues...
A lot has happened in the course of the year
There were many happy moments and also the tears
There were some we handled better and some we wish I did
The year is cruising to a close and we all look ahead
We want things to improve but we have to take a step
We want situations to be better but we have to think ahead
Humans won't stop being human even if it's a new year
Everything won't magically take a 180 turn because it's a new year
Still the same people and situations but we need a mental shift
I am speaking on parables but I hope you catch my drift
There should be an endless release of happiness from within, put away the rift
Everyone who wants to give you a foul mood, by all means, shift
We are getting too old for some old habits that needs to die
Because in it and the ability to grow, there in our strength lie
Some habits need to die, and we need to be reborn like a dough to make a pie
Transformed into a new being by deliberately showing the goodness of us
We all have our bad sides, we all have our shortfalls
We just need to let the goodness override the bad
While we keep the bad energy at bay even though human will push us
It's never about them but about protecting our own mental space
I just want to leave the goodness of my heart everywhere with a trace
Thankfulness.
There is always something to be thankful for and that is relative
A lot of people choose to focus on the problem and that's selective
Life gives us both the good and the bad, we can't be deductive
Different things mean different things to people
Some people feel a problem more intense than another in similar situation
It's okay when life happens and we react the way we can, we are humans after all
Never let situations rub you of the tiny little details to be thankful of
As you are reading this, what comes to mind and what are you thankful of?
It's okay to take a step back, take a deep breath and ponder
When you look around you critically, you have things to be thankful for and you will wonder
For all the times you have dropped off and wandered
God kept you, life favoured you and you need to listen to the stories of others to understand
Thankfulness is a function of what's in your heart rather than your hands
A day is never enough but Thanksgiving is a day for reflection
Be honest with yourself and you don't have to live in deception
Oh... Thanksgiving turkeys are so good and yummy
Who wouldn't get excited as they tear the body down and it fills your tummy
We don't have to get swept off by the food and goodies
We need to truly count our blessings and be thankful
Don't moan that day...you've had all year to do that
Focus on what's working rather than the things that aren't...yet
A favourable disposition to Thanksgiving enlarges the heart
It's a fuel to your engine to keep going while trying your best on this earth
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone... I can't let this season go without saying it.
Happy new year in advance too... I said it first hahahaha.

Life is for the bold but we all have a little bit of hidden cowardness in it. That is true. Never we can ponder with what our parents made for us until we come across the reality by visiting others farm. Thanksgiving to all my supporters of read.cash for now and to the all known Almighty, without whose support I would not be grinding in this platform for these past few months. Nice one about life.
