Flim or movie or cinema . It is a great way of entertainment for our modern society. We have seen so many movies but never thought of its history. So today we are going back to past to see the history of flim industry and cinematography simply known as cinema.
First lets see what cinematography is. Cinematography is a illusion of movement by recording and subsequent rapid projection of many still photographic picture on a screen. Isn't it great !!! What we thik is moving , actually it is a still picture which is changing before we record a new image in our brain. And our brain take it as a moving picture. This is why movie is itself a illusion.
In modern days movie is a medium of mass entertainment and also a medium of communication. It is now a multi-billion-pound industry. But it was never like this before. The first movie shown in public was in December 1895 by Lumiere Brother in Paris, France. It was only a few minutes or less. Then cinema was a great medium of communication and knowledge.
Gradually the industry started increasing. But then American industry was not in a good form. Then dominant industries were Europe , Russia and Scandinavia. But after the first world war the American industry relatively grew as the war worsly affected the European industry.
Before 1930 movies even don't contain sound. Then movies were soundless. In 1927 first sound was added to flim by Warner bros. And the black-white print changed into colour print in 1930. After 1930s' almost all flim were released in full colour. This time is known as the ' Golden Age Of Hollywood'.
Now a day various technologies are using in flim industry to develop the industry. And the most fascinating technology of modern industry is 3D flim. The first 3D flim was released on 27th September 1922 . The title of the flim was ' The Power Of Love ' in a theatre in Los Angeles.

The organization if the events was well presented. I also remembered i read an article that saying there are cases wherein when sounds were added, there was a man died of heart attack because he thought he was the one being shot when he heard the gun shot in the movie.
