_Women have Space in Paradise_

Preachers in their majority talk about Paradise as if it were a house for men only; many proclaim that women don’t have space in the Paradise whereas it is for believers’ men and women. *The obligation is the belief in Allah, Love of Allah and His Messenger, and obedience to Allah and His Messenger.*

Allaah created men and women with special kind of relationship; there is a special natural kind of love and tenderness between them that men will not attain full enjoyment of Paradise but with women and vice versa. Al-hoor al-‘iyn are extremely beautiful, such that the marrow of their shins will be visible from beneath their garments. Every man who enters Paradise will have two wives from among al-hoor al-‘iyn. Pleasing the most Merciful and entering Paradise is the ultimate aim that believing men and women should wish for.

However, the feeling that everything is for men is not new, Um Umarah al-Ansariyyah said that she went to the Prophet (May peace and blessings be upon him) and said to Him: *"I feel that everything is for men. Women are not mentioned as having anything.* Then was revealed the Verse: (For Muslim men and women, for believing men and women, etc), Verse 35, Surat al-Ahzab, or the Confederates. The Hadith is narrated by at-Tirmidhi 3211, and is in Sahih at-Tirmidhi 2565. And Um Salamah asked a similar question about migration with the Prophet of women Q3:195, at-Tirmizi 3023. So, *every woman need to read Q33:35 and its explanation, you have space in Paradise*.

Abdur Rahman ibn Awf reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, *“When a woman* prayers her five prayers, she fasts her month, she guards her chastity, and she obeys her husband, then it will be *said to her: Enter Paradise from whichever gate you wish.”* Musnad Ahmad 1664

لكل امرئ منهم زوجتان اثنتان، يرى مخ سوقهما من وراء اللحم، وما في الجنة أعزب؟

Every person would have two wives and the marrow of their shanks would glimmer beneath the flesh and there would be *none without a wife in Paradise.* Sahih Muslim. 5. Narrated 'Ata bin Abi Rabah: Ibn 'Abbas said to me, *"Shall I show you a woman of the people of Paradise?"* I said, "Yes." He said, *"This black lady* came to the Prophet and said, 'I get attacks of epilepsy and my body becomes uncovered; please invoke Allah for me.' The Prophet said (to her), 'If you wish, be patient and you will have (enter) Paradise; and if you wish, I will invoke Allah to cure you.' She said, 'I will remain patient,' and added, 'but I become uncovered, so please invoke Allah for me that I may not become uncovered.' So he invoked Allah for her." al-Bukhari

*More Women in hell NOT for Being Women*

It is true that the majority of Hell people are women but not for being women.

1. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I looked into Hell and *I saw that the majority of its people are women.* al-Bukhari, 3241; Muslim, 2737. Why? And How?

2. Imran bin Husain –may Allah be pleased with him- reported:

إن أقل ساكني الجنة النساء

Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: *Amongst the inmates of Paradise the women would form a minority.* This narration does not mean women will always form the majority in hell. روى الإمام أحمد (15531) والحاكم (2773) والبيهقي في "الشعب" (9346) عن عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ بْن شِبْلٍ رضي الله عنه قال : قال رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( إِنَّ الْفُسَّاقَ هُمْ أَهْلُ النَّارِ ) قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَنِ الْفُسَّاقُ؟ قَالَ: ( النِّسَاءُ ) قَالَ: رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَوَلَسْنَ أُمَّهَاتِنَا، وَأَخَوَاتِنَا، وَأَزْوَاجَنَا؟ قَالَ: ( بَلَى، وَلَكِنَّهُنّ إِذَا أُعْطِينَ لَمْ يَشْكُرْنَ، وَإِذَا ابْتُلِينَ لَمْ يَصْبِرْنَ )

وصححه الألباني في "الصحيحة" (3058)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: *the rebellious wrongdoers are the dwellers of Hell,* they asked: who rebellious wrongdoers? The Prophet said: *Women*… Ahmad 1551, Haakim 2773, Bayhaqi 9346, As Saheehhah 3058. *Does that mean all women are rebellious wrongdoers? No!*

قال رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ( إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ هُمُ الْفُجَّارُ ) قَالَ: رَجُلٌ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ أَلَمْ يُحِلَّ اللهُ الْبَيْعَ؟ قَالَ: ( إِنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ فَيَكْذِبُونَ، وَيَحْلِفُونَ وَيَأْثَمُونَ ) وقد رواه أحمد (15530) عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، وصححه الألباني في "الصحيحة" (366)

An example of such usage is when the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: *“Merchants are the evildoers.”* It was said: O Messenger of Allaah, has Allaah not permitted buying and selling? He said: *“Yes, but they speak and tell lies, and they swear oaths and sin (as a result).”* Ahmad (3/428); al-Haakim (2/8) – he said its isnaad is saheeh; it was classed as saheeh by the commentators on al-Musnad and by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (366).

But trade is one of the best ways of earning a living for those who are honest and sincere, for the honest, trustworthy merchant will have a great reward. So, *Merchants who are honest, trustworthy would not be counted as the evildoers as Allaah wish.*

المراد بذلك التحذير من الفعل ، وبيان جزاء صاحبه عند الله يوم القيامة ، ليحذر العاقل من الوقوع في مثله

So what the assertions of *“the majority of Hell people are women”* means is *to caution women from such acts that make one dweller of Hell, presage of the consequence of such act on the Day of Resurrection to caution the women of understanding.* The acts that make them dwellers of Hell includes:

1. *Being ungrateful to the husband.* “They are ungrateful to their companions (husbands) and ungrateful for good treatment. *If you are kind to one of them for a lifetime then she sees one (undesirable) thing in you, she will say, ‘I have never had anything good from you.’”* al-Bukhari, 1052

2. *Frequent curse.* ‘You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. al-Bukhaari, 304

3. *Misleading or tempting to mislead man.* A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you.’ al-Bukhaari, 304,

4. *Impatient when afflicted*. Ahmad 15531 Haakim 2773

etc.

However, *if they are grateful; don’t curse; don’t mislead man; give charity al-Bukhaari, 304, Muslim, 885; diligent in seeking Allah's forgiveness Bukhari 304, Muslim 79; say their five prayers, fast their month, guards their chastity, and obey their husband, then it will be said to them: Enter Paradise from whichever gate you wish.”*

قال رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ( إِذَا صَلَّتْ الْمَرْأَةُ خَمْسَهَا وَصَامَتْ شَهْرَهَا وَحَفِظَتْ فَرْجَهَا وَأَطَاعَتْ زَوْجَهَا قِيلَ لَهَا ادْخُلِي الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ شِئْتِ ) . رواه أحمد (1664) وصححه الألباني في "صحيح الجامع" (660) .

The Messenger of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, “When a woman prayers her five prayers, she fasts her month, she guards her chastity, and she obeys her husband, then it will be said to her: Enter Paradise from whichever gate you wish.” Musnad Ahmad 1664

*No Single People in Paradise*

The joys of Paradise are not limited only to males – they are for males and females alike, and part of that joy is marriage. It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “…there will be no one in Paradise who is unmarried.” Narrated by Muslim (2834). If a woman does not get married in this world, Allaah will grant her a spouse in whom she will find delight in Paradise. So if a woman is one of the people of Paradise and she did not get married, or if her husband is not one of the people of Paradise, when she enters Paradise there will be men who did not get married, and those men will have wives from among the hur al-‘iyn and wives from among the people of this world if they wish.

Similarly, concerning the woman who had a husband in this world but he did not enter Paradise with her, if she wants to get married then she will inevitably have what she desires, because of the general meaning of these verses. Q41:31 Q43:71, Majmoo’ Fataawaa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, 2/52 - 53)

*A Woman that Marry More Than One Husband*

There are three scholarly opinions on this matter:

1. That she will be with the one who was best in character and conduct with her in this world; Al-Tadhkirah fi Ahwaal al-Mawtaa wa’l-Aakhirah, 2/278, al-Du’afaa’ wa’l-Matrookeen by al-Nasaa’i (p.72), Meezaan al-I’tidaal, 5/24, al-Kaamil 5/347, Al-Majrooheen, 1/354, al-Du’afaa’ (2/171)

2. That she will choose between them; al-Tadhkirah fi Ahwaal al-Mawtaa wa’l-Aakhirah 2/278, Kashf al-Khafaa’, 2/392, Fataawaa, 2/53

3. That she will be with the last of her husbands. The best and most correct of these views is the third one, concerning which there is a hadeeth attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) (marfoo’): “Any woman whose husband dies and she marries someone else after him, she will be with the last of her husbands.” This was classed as saheeh by Al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy on him) in Saheeh Al-Jaami’, 2704, and Al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 1281, al-Mu’jam al-Awsat, 3/275, al-Majrooheen, 3/146, al-Tabyeen li Asmaa’ al-Mudalliseen, by Sabt Ibn al-‘Ajami, p. 235; and Tabaqaat al-Mudalliseen, by al-Haafiz ibn Hajar, p. 51, Tabaqaat al-Muhaaditheen bi Asbahaan, 4/36)Taareekh Baghdaad, 9/228, al-Du’afaa’ wa’l-Matrookeen, p. 39, al-Du’afaa’ wa’l-Matrookeen by Ibn al-Jawzi, 1/237, al-Sunan, 7/69, Man rumiya bi’l-Ikhtilaat by al-Taraabulsi (p. 64) and Tabaqaat al-Mudalliseen by Ibn Hajar (p. 42), al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (1281), Al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 3/276.

*Do you know that most followers of Dajjaal will be women?*

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْزِلُ الدَّجَّالُ فِي هَذِهِ السَّبَخَةِ بِمَرِّقَنَاةَ فَيَكُونُ أَكْثَرَ مَنْ يَخْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ النِّسَاءُ حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَرْجِعُ إِلَى حَمِيمِهِ وَإِلَى أُمِّهِ وَابْنَتِهِ وَأُخْتِهِ وَعَمَّتِهِ فَيُوثِقُهَا رِبَاطًا مَخَافَةَ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِ 5330 مسند أحمد بن حنبل7/190 المحدث أحمد شاكر خلاصة حكم المحدث إسناده صحيح في مسند أحمد

Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The False Messiah will come upon this marsh of Marriqanat (near Medina). *Most of those who go out to him will be women, until a man goes back to his wife, his mother, his daughter, his sister, and his aunt to shackle them tightly, fearing they would go out to him.”* Musnad Aḥmad 5330

*Who are the majority customers of soothsayers?*

How many men will listen to soothsayers? *But Soothsayers and their cohorts (Devils) will chain man through his mother, wife, or sister easily if they patronize them.* And “Whoever goes to a soothsayer and believes what he says *has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad”* and “Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and asks him about something and believes him, his *prayers will not be accepted for forty days”,* which was narrated by Muslim.

*Look at the advertisements, it is naked women here and there*

*Look at the rate of the claimed marginalization;* oppression, repression on what Allaah has legislated and decreed to be under the protection of a man, *all that some want is gender equality* (in what favor them).

*This is the insubordination; the beginning of living alone to spread immorality.*

Look at our Mulimahs, they want to wear their gold, dresses … *wanton displays*

*Women can observe salat later because of a film* and they can prepare the wedding ceremony of *a friend of their friend but religion obligations?* Sorry!

Allaah says: “Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?” Q23:115

Etc.

These may be bitter but the truth; *it will only benefit the true believers*

*Don’t worry and be Patient, Your enjoying is Paradise*

Women will be in Paradise to enjoy; *“Today is for striving with no reckoning and tomorrow is for reckoning with no striving.”* al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Eemaan (10614); narrated by al-Bukhaari in a mu’allaq report in Baab al-Aml wa Tooliha, in Kitaab al-Riqaaq.

The ones who will serve the people of Paradise will be boys of everlasting youth. Allaah says: “And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls” Q76:19. *No obligation on women in Paradise but to enjoy.* A woman will be with her husband in Paradise, and even with her children, sons, and daughters, if they are Muslim. Q 52:21, Q 36:56, Q43:70, Q 52:21, Q13:23.
