The coal we were expecting never arrived but what did arrive was the nickel ores that were supposedly put on hold is now in cooling and in a while, I'll start working on that. I've seen a lot of titrations but I've never seen anything this light and pretty OnO This is the end point for K2O (potassium dioxide) The pinkest titration I've seen so far was for weak acid, strong base but I don't know what's up with this that it's a pretty neon pink/orange. I'd like to try this titration once tho, just to see the end point up close

I've been rushing ores again and apparently I haven't sat down this entire day (except when I took my lunch, of course) I think this was the only time I actually got to breath after this day. Anyways, they ran out of the cream cheese flavor I liked so I just went with the mousse flavor

Trying to make some progress with my object study... and it looks like it's underwater? I'm just trying to figure out how to do the lighting so I can work on face details. So far I'm just doing shadows and hair base XD and I had a bit of drawing time at work earlier so I managed to get a few more layers in. I'm on the 5th color layer now and I have no idea if it's shaping up the way I want it to

New discovery: if the ore samples is only around 3-5.... Maybe 6 at most batches. It's doable completely within a day. Anyways, I've always wanted to show the color transition of the samples I titrate. From a very bright purple, it goes to gray then olive green over time (mostly when it gets acidified since air in the acid room is... Well... Acidic 😅) idk, I just find the colors nice

Took me forever to figure out how to do a split screen on this tablet- Usually most android apps will have a split screen option when you go to the menu but here, you have to long press. Now I can finally draw with reference gain ;;-;; because lately, I've just been carrying a flashlight around whenever I'm ttrying to figure out how the lighting will go for a specific angle

Uhh... Meet Pablo? He's the new dog my dad brought home and I have no idea where he came from. Right now I'm just trying to keep him away from Victoria because Victoria hates puppies for some reason and she has a habit of violently biting puppies. I did a size comparison with Pablo and Victoria a while ago and I'm bothered by how small Pablo is. Like he's just as big as Victoria's head so I think people might step on him ;;-;; that's why he can't join us for our usual walk. Dinner was so good! Had spaghetti and garlic bread tonight. My other sister cooked and I'm weirded out by the fact that she has more appreciation for basil in the pasta now. Anyways, she's learning how to make spaghetti the way I do and that's with fresh tomatoes and not the spaghetti sauce pack. I do think she still mixed a small pack of tomato sauce here because the sauce is so red but it came out great! Hope she cooks dinner more often 🤣 I need a break from kitchen duties

I have a weird sense of satisfaction, I know 🤣 But when the glasswares I use is extremely organized and aligned, it kind of just lessens my stress because of how organized it is. Having a dilemma over buying this mini magnetic palette,making one or just sticking to digital 😅😅😅 like... Teaching Pablo how to play fetch using my paint brush 😅 He won't really follow the stick but he follows the paintbrush so I used the paintbrush. Because my food for the past 2 days was really unhealthy (way too much take out and carbs that I probably won't burn off 😭) it's time to go back to healthy eating for a bit I bought a bunch of bananas in the market today then I made overnight oats with chia seeds and soy milk. My supervisor is so cute!!! Every Monday, she brings a big box of biscuits to the lab and every Monday at 4:20-4:30 pm, she would summon us for a coffee break together. It's a good form of bonding for the team because we give updates while we eat and it helps lighten the mood a lot. This time it was cookies! And I was extremely happy with these

I did a thing with dried out markers 😂😂😂 so I broke my stylus today and I asked a few friends what remedy they had. An artist friend told me to clean out a dried out marker then just let it retain water. It works pretty okay as a stylus. I tried it and I am not disappointed OnO The only drawback you get is that you have to keep spraying the tip because when it dries out again, the tablet screen doesn't detect it anymore.
