Be A Pusher

Entry #1
"Be a pusher." These words seem to have a negative connotation, right? But on a second thought, is it really negative? Maybe it's about time for us to see the positive aspect of being a pusher!
Was there a time in your life when you felt irritated each time your parents pushed you to do something? Have you ever felt so annoyed towards them? Say, they insisted that you attend the guitar, ballet, or voice lessons? How about those weekends when you all wished for was to sleep all morning, and then your mother would come in, wake you up so early for an errand or family gatherings you don't have any interests to attend to?
Have you encountered a seemingly perfectionist boss who does not want you to submit a report that is not well done? How about spending sleepless nights just to finish an assignment only to be told, "Repeat!" Or how how about your boss asking you to practice a presentation, but you need to practice it over and over again until it becomes a permanent part of you.
Sometimes, you found yourself doing something you dislike or a task that you find difficulty because you believe that you don't have the skill to do it, but your boss says, "Just put your heart into it, and believe that you can do it." (Difficult, right?) He tells you that you've got what it takes. Don't say you can't! Then, one day you made it! He'd say, "Very good! Amazing! Excellent work!"
In some instances, there are parents who keep on prodding you. You told yourself, "A passing grade is all I can give." But your parents told you, "You can be an honor student!" They encouraged, told you that you were smart, believed in your capability, and challenged you to reach for new heights. Then you become inspired and studied well, achieved something you never imagined. Isn't it amazing? We only realize the importance of their push when we already reap the benefits in our lives!
Looking back, most likely you'll find someone who played a pivotal role in pushing you to get you to where you are today. Maybe your parents, your teacher, your boss, your spouse, or a friend who tells you that you can do it! They helped you go to the next level.
You are who and what you are now because somebody pushed you. If there were people who took time and made difference in your life and instilled confidence in you, maybe it's about time to return the favor by doing it to others.
If you want to have a better life, don't focus on how you can make your own life better. Think of ways and means on how you can improve somebody else's life, as well. Don't be contented that you are the only one who can soar in the journey of life while others are living like chickens. Remember, more often, we can see potential in other people that they cannot see themselves.
The push - sometimes we need it. Sometimes we need to give it. It can be the greatest gift you ever give. It will change a life forever. I hope I may have pushed someone today!

Hi Noelle! Welcome to read.cash :) hope you'll enjoy writing and sharing your stories here.
I have encountered "pushy" people as you've mentioned. Seeing beyond their "pushy" behavior are genuine desire to see us conquer heights and reach our potentials. They champion us to win! ☺️
