Breaking the habits
Breaking the habits. Are you willing to break your habit just to prioritize another things? Well, most of us are making this. This is sometimes happen in a worst situation. We can't turn back our previous habits and then neglect the most important one. Sometimes our habits are extremely difficult to handle. Just like a relationship. There's alot of things you should be given up. Time is one of the most important thing that a person really want to give you.
Never mind those tangible things; such flowers, money, and gifts. It is time that make a relationship prolong. I've already read alot of post about breaking up with partners, it's because there's no time that they give to another and it's results to breaks up. This is sad but true. LDR (long distance relationship) is something that two person have the hardtime to make an effective communication. It is anticipated that there might be betrayal between the two.
True relationship is always abreast. No matter happen distance they are they tend to have a disciplinary actions. Excuses doesn't count at all. But what there's something else to prioritize than your partner? Well, it will just happened once or twice but if it occurs over and over again. I think his/her excuses does count at all or shall I say not credible. Let's just break our erroneous habits.
Things to do when deciding to break our habits
✓ First we should remember the consequences that we have made. We should be aware of some instances. For example: If we tend to spoke lies for long time and everytime you've been asked you tell the distorted one. You might give the wrong information especially when you're being interview in a job. We might have the harding to tell the truth since our habit is that we are comfortable of telling lies.
✓ Second we should descipline ourself. We should cease our wrong habits while it didn't get to worst. Change your view in life. Instead of making unnecessary things we should do our part if we want change in our life. It is our habit that makes cease towards our goals. The only thing you should do is changing your habit. A habit that have something in good return.
✓ Third, I think most of us doesn't want any intervention to our decision. We want to be independent or something that we can get our goals through our self endeavor. For me, that's that even good. Sometimes we should accept people's advices. It's purpose is to have alot of better choices in life. Sometimes we can determine which actions are appropriate to our plan. It's is sometimes other people can have a better advice. Don't just be smug of yourself. You have alot of weakness. In that case we should be open minded.
✓ Fourth, wait for the process. Don't be rash. Everything will just come into a better one if we trust the process. Let's me practice patience and perseverance. If we want to change something we should wait for it's perfect time. If we tend to rash things we might have possibility that we can going back to our bad habits. The process is somehow is an important matter. We should be aware of that.
✓ Fifth, Love yourself first. If you think you can lift yourself. I think you should make some pleasure time. I mean you should spent time for yourself. Don't be bother about enduring the process. Give some ease to yourself. It's because your must diminish the burden that you have and the only purpose of that is you should spent time for leisure and pleasure time.
Thoughts
Maybe I didn't name some of the important things to change our habits but aleast I've tried to share this. It's hard to change our minds. The way we think, is just a different. It's difficult to adapt new atmosphere and situation. But if we really want to break unnecessary habits in life, I think we must focus and have determination to change our habits.
It's so easy to form a new habit but hard to break away from. I love what you said about understanding the consequences before we do it...that surely helps. When we love ourselves enough, we would go through the process and develop the needed patient to overcome the habit we are trying to change.
