Over the past few years, I’ve noticed that I’ve developed a new pattern of behaviour: I often push myself beyond my limits, refuse to take breaks, and forget to treat myself with compassion and kindness. Ultimately, I end up burning out and unable to find the energy to do much of anything for days if not weeks on end.
So I’ve written down a few things that soothe me, occupy my mind with happy things other than work, and make me feel safer on days when everything seems too big.
What do YOU do to self-soothe when you feel a little too stressed out?
And if you’re looking for some self-care activities or need help with managing your mental healththen do meditate, do yoga and try to think about nothing but just yourself being alive and try to feel the life energy, alsso you can paly with kids for fun and it is one of the best ways to relax and recharge your mental energy.
