Excellent!
Nice article and video but i think LBRY.tv is not different than others, and it is easy to ban subscribers for lbry.tv, i heard alot of bad news and experience about banned and cant earn lbc . So be careful in one day you can get banned and restrict for rewards and earning lbc free.
lbry.tv is not the same as lbry the app, so yes, lbry the peer to peer app is very different from others. Also anyone is welcome to build their own client on top of lbry. No content can be removed, people can just choose not to index or host it.
I'm good friends with the creator of LBRY and he's an exemplary human being, spearheading an incredibly important project. I plan to give LBRY as much support as I can.
LBRY is good. But has a few major flaws.
The first is it benefits whales that stake their LBC against there posts over everyone else. This is unfair like Youtube.
Secondly, the head office talks of freedom of speech and decentralised blockchain but they can stop account, stop rewards, and throttle back your experience. So not really decentralised.
You're missing the point. Whether or not a centralized company decides to give away their own LBC is completely irrelevant to whether or not LBRY itself is decentralized. LBRY is a decentralized index, anyone can build their own UI. There are no barriers to entry.
Yes well aware of that. But I was addressing LRBY. It is much more than a blockchain and decentralisation is more than the blockchain. Hence the few major flaws.
Ahahaha! Nice trick with the text as an image. It fooled read.cash.
