Our tatay(grandfather) got viral.
Our tatay is an 88 years old man, he was born on April 30, 1934. He is a widower, he lost his wife way back in 2005, he is alone for 17 years now and he didn't think of remarrying again. He is devoted to his wife that he candles at the cemetery every Monday, it's a belief that the souls are outside every Monday so he wants to fill her soul with candles.
At the age of 88 he got a catheter, he has a hole in his abdomen to make the hose inserted, and then his urine flows directly to his urinal bag. He has a prostate and his pee doesn't flow properly to his something, so they consulted his children that he wants to use a catheter but provided that he has a twice in a month check-up and changing for the hose of his catheter. It's a little bit of hassle and expense because the provincial hospital in our town is far from where we were living, but no choice coz that's the only hospital that provides free medication, and all you have to buy is the medicine outside.
Last two days ago, my cousin Monalisa posted the handmade basket of our tatay to be sold because it is his past time, and he has lots of it already, it's his way of living, he is an independent man that if he thinks he still does it he won't ask for any help. This is his way of supporting his other needs coz he doesn't want to become a burden to his children. This post of my cousin got many likers, commenters, and sharers, some people ask for her Gcash number too, coz they want to give and share their blessings even an amount and because of that many extend their help to our grandfather.
They are documenting their outreach because there are many people sending money to Gcash and they want them to know That their money is put in and not wasted. There are many people also asking and want to buy his basket in a bulk order but he's only the one doing it because we his grandchildren don't know how to do it coz it's not an easy handicraft.
In his blessings, he collected 7 thousand Philippine money or $135 and groceries, which can supply him for 3 months and his every twice a monthly check-up with medicines. We are so grateful that even in the middle of a crisis there are still many people got sympathy with the poor ones.
PS. If it is okay in here, I would like to plug my tatay. He is CATALINO ORSAIZ MONSANTO he is from Sogod Cebu. His deceased parents were Francisco Monsanto and Fortunata Orsaiz.
Upon claiming his PSA at the Regional Cagayan de Oro City, he is negative. It states that he was not registered before and it required him to go to Cebu in the Local to file a late registration but he is not capable of traveling because of his age.
I'm hoping that I got relatives here to help us with our little problem.
Thank you in advance.
It's me ∆Nadeen∆ asking for a help for the sake of my grandfather.
Having someone his age still faithful to his wife and self-reliant is wonderful and inspiring, he is truly an amazing person, may God bless him and make his heart happy
