When you see persistence, it is not like what you hear about, just the film, in short, that transforms theorizing into a practical model. You see it through the story of the Cargill War Girl
Attempts, willpower and all that I heard and read inspirational phrases I saw in cartoons and visuals when I watched the Indian movie (Gunjan Saxena), which tells a true story of a combatant in the Air Force in India and she is the first woman in her country to fly a warplane in the Cargill War, and she was known as (Girl Cargill) It didn't come overnight. Her story tells us how the dream begins and when it will come true. The film includes a journey of a life full of attitudes that stopped me about more than one scene and a dialogue that I contemplated, and I extracted from it these six benefits:
1. First dream .. curiosity
When the heroine of the movie (Gunjan) was a child sitting in the plane and wanted to look out the window, but she could not ... the flight attendant noticed her, so she took her to the cabin and saw what she had not seen before. From here the beginning was a positive curiosity to take a look from the window. Kindly, if she wanted to pilot the pilot, he would give her this first experience for more surprise, so she aspires to sit in the captain’s place, telling her that she must be a pilot so that she can sit in his place .. At this moment she decided to be in this place and this is what she will become. Maybe we should do the same as the hostess and the captain and be the hand that takes the children to places that are the start of big dreams.
2. Chasing of a different kind
In the beginning of middle school, she had a supportive friend who told her that girls her age were chasing boys, but she was not busy with this, but rather she was busy chasing her dream, and this friend advised her to be frank with her father about everything she went through and what she wanted, so regret over the silence is greater than any criticism or rejection she will hear.
The intention of (Gunjan) and all her thinking was to learn to fly, and piloting the plane. This is all she thinks about. She does not tire of looking at the sky and contemplating the planes when they pass over her. However, completing her university studies was the desire of her family, so their desire contradicted what she wanted. She specifically wants to become a pilot from During going to the Flying Academy.
3. Horse and hurdles
Delhi, which has the Aviation Academy, was not her city, so how would she go and live alone? This was an obstacle standing in front of her dream, but she did not give up, although whenever she progressed to the academy, she found conditions that she did not meet, so she was like a horse and the barriers at each stage faced a new and higher barrier.
She faced a new barrier, as the university degree became a requirement in the academy and she did not obtain it, so she was forced to study university only in order to fly, and she returned to apply after (3) years and found another new barrier, the financial fees required for the study, which was introduced while she was completing the requirements, to make the amount greater than The ability of her family, and this barrier was too high to cross. All of these barriers made me think a lot, what kept her going, how did she not give up her dream? The secret is in the clear vision that inspired her with all this determination and persistence despite all the pain and tears.
4. Enable possible
She had a possible opportunity that differs from the academy that she was seeking after, namely (the Air Force), where girls were allowed for the first time to join the Indian Air Force, and she was from the first batch. This was what was available, and she did not refuse, but rather turned to the possible despite comments and criticism from her mother and brother.
5. An exception may be made for you
There was a council in the Indian Air Force to select female candidates with training that they would become soldiers before they pilot the plane, and (Gunjan) was distinguished at this stage because she was ready, as she worked for a long time before to educate herself, in addition to her quick wit that was a requirement in the forces Al-Jawiyyah to choose the female soldier, and she was the only candidate among all the applicants, and finally she got closer to her dream, except that she had to do a medical examination and here came what was not taken into account. Her weight is more than the permissible one by seven kilograms, and the other is permanent, which is her short stature, as she is shorter than required by 1 cm. (Gunjan) was about to seize her dream, but her dream went away from her and left her.
Her father tried to raise her and tell her to work on temporary disability and solve it by doing a diet and exercise and began by narrating the stories of who managed to get rid of excess weight and how to solve this dilemma instead of crying and surrendering, but she looked at the permanent disability, short stature, which is what happens with us, we only look at Things that are impossible and we leave the possible were the wisdom of her father to her: "Do what you can control, and leave what remains to God, so luck does not leave the hardworking."
And after she achieved that, she returned to the Air Force Institute to tell them that there was only one remaining, so he asked her to sit on the pilot’s seat because it required that her length be proportional to the seat so that she could reach the pilot of the pilot, and here the surprise was that her hand was long and more than what was required in a way that allowed her to drive Finally, she was accepted into the institute as an exception and began studying.
6. The journey is not over
Even after graduation and going to training, she had not reached the summit. There are still obstacles and challenges that she faces, but the dream coupled with hope is what persists her and makes her continue the march. She was bullied because she was a girl in the Air Force, and her weak hand was mocked, but she was able to stand up to this bullying to tell them that her hand can lead the plane and this is required of her after she cried a lot before her.
The road to success is full of situations, and in a difficult stage, we need strength in order to overcome this difficulty, and after the hardship is ease, and relief comes after the hardship.
Finally, sincere intentions are what wins. (Gongan) was sincere in her love of flying and mastering her work with sincere intention and helping her fellow soldiers and saving them in the Cargill war, which was on difficult heights, mountains and terrain, so she won her desire after a journey of patience.
Interesting! Such a great movie it'll be. I'll love to watch it soon.
