Can money really makes us happy?
Money is an integral part of human life to survive. It serves as a **protection** and can be **very useful**. Money can be **beneficial** and adds a **measure of security**. But *what will happen if you didn't use the money wisely? What will happen if you focus your life on making money? Can it really make us happy?* Money is **not the most important thing in life.** It's true that we need it to survive but **we** **don't need to love the money**. We must be **contented** with the present things, such as food, clothing, and shelter. We should keep money in its place and not pursue wealth. Why? Greedy people often abandon good principles. In their effort to get what they desire, they might be tempted to commit crimes, such as blackmail, extortion, fraud, kidnapping, or murder. Or even if the love of money does not lead to bad behavior, it can still have other negative consequences such as **broken families** and **poor health from overwork**. So **money in itself is not wrong**. But **people** who love money—who make it their **main focus in life**—**bring problems** on themselves. So instead of pursuing wealth at all costs, "**be content"** with what we really need. And if we do not compromise moral for the sake of money, we will have self-respect. 🙏

that's true... others say, you can't buy happiness. But then when you buy things you love, it makes you happy dba? haha. Pero like what other's say, too much of everything is bad. So jab jab lang. wag masyadong gahaman.. :)
Buying things which you really need and want can make you happy. Lalo na kung may pambili ka naman talaga. Pero wag lang yung puro pera ang nasa utak haha. Yun na yung masama.
I agree...
No. Money cant buy happiness. I know some people that has a plenty of money but not happy at all. Sometimes rich people want a simple life even just for one day because having a lot of money has many complications.
True. They still feel empty even though they have a lot more. So it's not a matter of having a lot of money.. But the feeling of being contented on what you have.
Money is to store your value for future use. It brings you services and goods but you cannot buy happiness with money. Some people should discriminate that money can buy things that will make you happy but happiness is not acquired by paying its price.
Having a lot of money without being content in it can lead to an unhappy life. So the secret is.. Be contented no matter what value of money you have.
I believe happiness has nothing to do with materialistic things. Money surely doesn’t buy happiness
As long as we don't love it.. We're still good.
Of course. Money is a basic necessity but the problem starts when someone starts loving it and running after it
If you use money to buy freedom, you'll be happy. Freedom to spend with your friends and family, freedom to buy whatever you want. If you buy stuffs ( cars, big house, ... etc ) that you can't afford your trading your freedom to money.
So use your money wisely and put it in its place. 😊
Very well said. The best use for money, is gaining freedom.
Money may still make people happy. Without it, we cannot buy things that will make us happy. Like foods, accessories or clothes. Still, we need to be practical in using money and be a wise person for us not to be attracted to do a bad move using money. Sometimes, being too much happy with money can bring anyone into addiction that they will do anything to have more money even if it affects others. So always think on the outcome and think twice when using and handling money.
Very well said. 👏 thanks for adding some informative idea about money 😊
Money allows us to meet our basic needs—to buy food and shelter and pay for healthcare. Meeting these needs is essential, and if we don’t have enough money to do so, our personal wellbeing and the wellbeing of the community as a whole suffers greatly. We all have a responsibility to work towards a society everyone has access to adequate food, shelter, and healthcare. Beyond meeting our basic needs, as Tom Rath suggests in his book, Wellbeing, “money can increase our short-term happiness by giving us more control over how we spend our time.” For example, it can give us the option to live closer to work, work fewer hours, and spend more time on leisure activities with family and friends. Money can be used to make our lives easier. But the fact is that most of us don’t use money to buy more free time. Instead, we spend it on more expensive possessions.
More money, less time. Few money, more time. 😅
Money is just a tool, how you use it will decide whether it bring you happiness or sadness. Just like a knife, it can be used to prepare food or kill people but it all depends on the one who use it to decide.
Wow. Nice illustration. So it's a matter of how you use it wisely. Thanks for that comment 😊
In my days of Working i dropped a verse about Money "The love of Money is the Root Of all Evil"
Yes. You can read that in the bible. So it's the love of money. Not money itself is the root of all evil. Thanks for stating that 😊
Truth❤❤❤❤
happiness is not in the money. but unfortunately it is necessary to be able to pay for our basic needs-
Actually, money can make us happy if we use it wisely. It's true that we can use it to pay our basic needs. But be careful not to put it as the most important thing in our life.
nice article
You say a lot here, "It's true that we need it to survive but we don't need to love the mone".
Yeah. You got it. Some people think that it can make them happy, but they're wrong. So be wise about using it. 👍
