A Very Present Help in Times of Trouble
In the middle of the night and you woke up troubled, who will be there to watch over you?
In fears and chaos, loss and despair, who will give you the will and strength to go through it?
In the middle of the night when a child wakes up from a bad dream, he will immediately scream or cry for help. And when no one listens to him, he will not cease to cry, not until he hears the footsteps of his parents drawing near his room, and go check up on him.
A child is frightened of the dark and is so afraid to be alone. Thus, he will look for someone to tuck him in, stay with him, and to keep him safe and secure until he closes his eyes, falls back into sleep and finally,finds his way back to dreamland.
Yesterday, while I was reading some of the good articles written by different writers, I came across a particular writer who is known and recognized by many in this platform. She is greatly admired by many because of her praise-worthy and inspiring articles. And I am also one of the many.
Her writing skills and intellect in writing simply amazes me. So, I dropped a comment on her article. At 5:27 in the afternoon, my notif bell lit red and I have been informed that a new sponsor in the person of @Talecharm is willing to pay for my articles and I am over the moon. I never thought I would be seen by her. And in a heartbeat, I approved of the request.

Someone will stay with you and give you the consolation you need when you are troubled,

In the darkness of the night, in the midst of trouble, and in the uncertainties of tomorrow, someone will be the there watch over us and keep us safe under his wings.
In our lives we will be encountering storms. The raging seas and strong winds will try to shake our boats as we sail across the sea. Yes, we are the captain of our own ships, but we need an anchor than holds our boat steady, and a compass that helps us navigate through the sea and find the right way out.

A family member- the very first person that shares a strong connection to us. Someone who is with you all through your life. All other members in your household may not know all of your personal battles,but we have that one person in the circle that we can easily count on in our lowest time.

A Workmate - a colleague that you get along well. Someone whom you can share your worries and troubles comfortably and give you advices
A Stranger - someone you met along the way. You don't know them personally, but listens to you and not misjudge you.
God - the perfect, all-powerul and the One whom we need help the most. He is our stronghold and fortress. If we have Him, there will be no storms and no troubles that can stand against us. Our perfect consolation can be found in Him.
He Will Give You the Strength to Go Through it
As human as we are, we tumble down on our knees when things become so overwhelming and we can no longer take hold of the weight we carry. These certain times, we may lose the will to walk through the valley of worries and fall into the ground as we lose the strength to continue the journey. When you almost become hopeless, He will give us the strenght to go through it. All you need is to take a leap of faith.
Do not be afraid because...
He will be your feet that walks you out of that crooked path
He will give you the strength to carry on,
He will protect you from any difficulty,
He will not give you what you can not withstand,
He will equip you,
and He will sustain you,
Thus,do not fret and lose hope. Hold on, be courageous and be steadfast in faith because He will be your refuge and ever present help in times of trouble.
