Adieu School Year 2021-2022 Howdy, dear readers! It has been "I don't know many days" since I was out of sight in this platform. I lost track of the passing days. My apology to all of you. I am just buried by loads of work. These past two weeks have been extremely exhausting for me. The fact that the School Year 2021-2022 will reach its end in sixteen working days time, as our days get numbered,we were pretty much bombarded with school stuffs. A great quantity of work has been my event and also will be my companion for the next three consecutive weeks. I have a lot on my plate and I don't have time to slack off, be tardy and have a divided attention. I need to do what I ought to do and prepare for the coming Moving-Up Ceremony for my advisory and other tenth grade students. I need to focus and do a pile of work so I can meet the deadline. Hence, I must be ready to bustle up and be a ball of fire. Properly prepared, quick and disposed must be embodied by us in this time of the year—school year rather. It has been the highlight of my life nowadays, but nah.. I can do it! It is time to bustle up, Buttercup! Dear readers, let me share to you what have been my events during the last two weeks. I came well prepared for today, so I made a list of all my ganap sa buhay in bullet form. Here's the sequence. Distribution and Retrieval of Learning Activity Sheets Checking of Students Outputs Finalization of Grades Completion of School Forms School-based Final Checking of School Forms Deliberation of this School Year's Tenth Grade Achievers Distribution and Retrieval of Learning Activity Sheets Last May 30, we distributed the last set of Learning Activity Sheets or LAS to our students. Its composed of the remaining four subjects that are not given to the students. Those are English, Mathematics, MAPEH and TLE. The four said subjects are expected to be returned by the students tomorrow giving them two weeks to the answer it religiously. Disclaimer: Due to the restriction given by the pandemic, the school's learning set up for the learners in our school is in modular (print) form. Printed instructional materials like modules and Learning Activity Sheets are the alternative mode of delivering the lessons to the students. The contents and competencies reflected in the modules/LAS are aligned with that of the curriculum. It is being distributed to the learners so that their learning can still be achievable even if they are at the comfort of their homes. Checking of Students Outputs After we retrieved the last set the Activity Sheets from the learners, we then disinfected their works by exposing it to the striking heat of the sun and or use the UltraViolet Disinfectant to guarantee that before we check their works, its already clean and free from viruses. This is our way of protecting ourselves and the students from the spread of corona virus and other viruses that is lurking around us. After the disinfection, we segregated the modules according to subjects and gave it to the subject teachers for them to check the students outputs. **Finalization of Grades** I have three grade levels, and sixteen class section to be given with grades. Can you imagine the amount of papers I had on my table last two weeks? Haha it's a lot ofcourse.Gladly, I finished it all. I managed to check all their outputs, and already consolidated their grades. Then, I gave it to their class adviser for the finalization of grades. Completion of School Forms Subsequent to the checking of outputs, is the completion of school forms. And by school forms these are the School forms 1,2,3,5,9,10 and a Master Grade Sheet too. Thankfully, I made it through the tunnel. I was so relieved when I was done with all the forms. It was not an easy task though. Manually writing the finalized grades into each students school card or the SF 1 and their Permanent Record of the SF 10, made me woozy and tired. But, credits to my not blurred-vision I finished it easily. I remembered, I was really extra carefull and cautious of making mistakes. I didn't want to make mistakes and erasures in the forms. School-based Final Checking of Forms The school-based checking for the tenth grades classes happened last June 8, thursday. All the grade ten advisers huddled to check each of our schools forms. We exchanged sections and manually checked the forms for each student. It took a long time for us to finish the checking. We started at 09:00 A.M. and ended at 2:00 P.M. There were 8 sections for tenth grade by the way. If you may ask. Deliberation of this School Year's Tenth Grade Achievers We had a long and careful deliberation for the tenth grade's class achievers, the three studenst who garnered high grades of 96s and 97 were chosen as the top three achievers for tenth grades. Thkse three students came from the special program in our school. The students with high honors. Then, by section, we also have chosen the students who performed well. I have thirteen performing students in my class and I presented the list in front of all the tenth grade advisers. Whoaaa! I am so glad that we are all done with the forms and stuffs. Those really knackered me. So, we are halfway set for the coming moving up ceremony. What's left on our plate are the preparations. The programs, and the rehearsals. After these, we are off to go! In few days, I can finally proclaim, Adieu School Year 2021-2022! Anyways, thank you for taking time to read my article for today, dears. It has been days since my last update. I have a lot keeping up to do.

Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining **In the horizon the clouds gather,** **In twilight and daybreak its presence can never be bothered,** **Always generous to let down its shadow,** **To envelope and rescue those who dwell in sorrow,** **So the silhouette of melancholy will not prevail over,** **In the heart of a person, who athirts for rescue to come over.** *Hello, dear readers. Do you have your own version of this poem? Feel free to hop in and drop it in the comment section 👇. I know yours would be better. I would love to read it.* The dusk breaks in. It's 6:52 in the evening and here I am, in the dark, writing this article. By dark, I mean, literally dark because of a sudden black out. Well, it is never new to me since it usually occur in this area. I am accustomed to it, and so are the residents. It has been part of their lives since ages ago. As for me, I am not originated from here. I came in this place because I was assigned to work in a Public High School in this area. It has been an hour already and the light has not come yet. I don't know why there's a sudden electric interruption today but it has become a hassle to me and to all who cannot afford to buy generators. I mean, black out would never be a problem if it's during daytime, but at night? Whoa! no, thank you. I am already sweaty and all, plus I am alone. Nobody wants to be alone in the dark, right? So, my fingers are crossed hoping for the light come back. Oops! My apology for a long adlib. I did not give a prior notice. Lol! Anyway, let's head back to the topic this instance. In our lives, we encounter difficult and unpleasant situations. Worries, troubles, and circumstances that we think are heavily laid upon our shoulders, but **amidst all of the dark clouds that sorround us is a silver lining**. It is our **aspect of hope of a promising future,** and **our clear vision of life**. When you look at the sky, do you see what's beyond the dark, gloomy clouds? It is the golden sun, hidden above. Gracefully waiting for the right time to beam so brightly. When we look at the horizon, and see that a dark and gloomy clouds has been formed, what comes to your mind? Instantly, we would think depressively of rain because the sky is dropping a hint of storm or a downpour that is heading your way. But, if you look closely would you see the light of it? It reminds us to prepare, and be aware of the problems it would bring into our lives. It's the nature's way of telling us to **stand our ground**, and to **embrace all the possibilities** even the worse ones. Reflection: No matter how dark or difficult our situations we are in at this moment in our lives, let us cling to the hope of brighter days, and a good future ahead of us. Apparently, we cannot see it immediately, but we surely will at the right time and at the right moment because **every cloud has a silver lining.** My beautiful sponsor<3

Let The Last Leaf Fall June 2, 2022 (11:58 P.M.) **Let the last leaf fall to give way for another season,** **Let the last leaf fall because it's destined to fall at the right time,** **Let the last leaf fall for a new life to sprout again.** Today is the second of June 2022. It's a great time to reflect upon the events of my life for the past month and to draw up a plan for June. Allow me to have a sideway drift from the topic I purposed for this article. It will not take much of your time. I'll thank you in advance for sparing you precious time for this. My heart is filled with warm fuzzies as I look back at all the happenings that came my way. I am thankful I gained new learning experiences. First, I was given the opportunity to serve as an EB Suport Staff during the National and Local Election held last May 9th. It was a challenging experience because of all the commotions and bad occurence days before the election. Second, I had the priviledge to go on a 3-day vacation and went to one of the most visited destination near Leyte, the Camotes Island. It was a much enjoyed and fun-filled experience. On the other hand, I am also trying to suppress the low spirit that is trying to prey over me as I realized that I failed to achieve my goals last month. It was quiet disappointing but there is none other to blame but thyself. I was not good at managing my time and true enough I reaped what I sow. I was not able to publish as much article as I can. My attention were easily drifted to and stolen away by work-related and personal matters. My mind was clouded with school stuffs. More than ever that the moving-up ceremony is just around the corner. We have a bunch of school forms and paperworks to make ready. The amount of work required of us sometimes make us physically and mentally drained but it's incomparable to the sense of satisfaction we get from doing it. Let me take you back to the topic swiftly. **Let the last leaf fall to give way for another season** In our lives, we may experience setbacks, disappointments, delay of plans, and failures. Hurdles that we think are high enough for us to jump over and are seemingly impossible to overcome. Then, you tried to thriumph over it and you gave your best shot but you just cannot win. Maybe, it is not the right time to take the course. Maybe, you are still inexperience and incapable enough to win the battle. Let the last leaf fall because it's destined to fall at the right time, If you cannot see yourself winning the battle, drop your guard. You are meant to fall at the right time. There is a season for defeat, a season to concede and to humble yourself. You are not meant to be a victor for that battle, but that is not the end of your journey. Let the last leaf fall for a new life to sprout again. Life is a series of new beginnings. When the last leaf falls, a new life sprout again. Believe in yourself that can be courageous and strong enought to stand up after you fall. As leaf signifies abundant life and new beginning, go, start afresh, and strive to be stronger and braver. When the last leaf falls of, it will surely sprout again and will flourish, be fruitful, and full of life in the right time. Hello, dear readers. It's past midnight and here I am, still awake, and trying to pour my heart out for this piece. This article is dedicated to one of the most influencial artist in the music industry here in the Philippines. For the past 2 days, her separation with husband has been the talk of the town, and as a fan of the couple, I am also affected of their situation. I am hoping for the light to shine upon them. Praying for them to overcome this crisis in their married life. That's it for me tonight. Thank you for dropping by. Your presence is highly appreciated.

Words That Are Better Than I Love You "I Love You" Are the three precious words many of us sought from the people we adore and are close to our hearts. These are powerful words enough to make a change in someone's life when spoken. "I love you" are the universal words used to express your feelings to someone you love. May it be your family, friend, and a special someone. What is love? When being asked to everyone, many will find it difficult to expound because love encompasses many things. It will be challenging to choose and find the right words to enunciate to best describe love. Love is such a powerful force that makes an impact in the life of a person. It's the greatest power ever freely given to us from above. The love of God is the perfect illustration of love. His agape love is abounding and unfathomable. And, we are incapable to fully grasp this kind of love He has for us. There are many arguments regarding the best expression of love. If you aware of the love languages then you'll know that every individual has different ways to show his adoration, devotion or deep affection to someone. Hence, we cannot say that this or the other is the best. Naturally, when we love, we learn the language that suits us very well. If it brings about the best in you or if it magnifies the love you can offer to others, then that is your love language. "I love you" Are the three precious words many of us sought from the people we adore and are close to our hearts. These are powerful words enough to make a change in someone's life when spoken. "I love you" are the universal words used to express your feelings to someone you love but apart from it you can articulate there words as it convey the same amount of love in your heart. "**I'll sacrifice for you, I forgive you, and I respect you. "** Instead of "I Love You" just say "I forgive you" Forgiving is another means of loving. To forgive means you stop blaming or you are no longer angry of someone who has done you wrong. If you don't want to punish them anymore for what they have done to you, you have forgiven them. Instead of "I Love You" just say "I'll sacrifice for you" Sacrificing is an act of giving up something for the sake of someone you hold dearly in your heart. It means you are willing to lift the heavy weight for them, you are willing to go through storms for them, and you are willing to compromise to keep the love you have for them. If love is sacrificial, it is selfless. Instead of "I Love You" just say "I respect you" Respect holds significance in love. When you respect someone it means, you accept them for who they are despite the disagreement over viewpoints, values, beliefs etc and when someone shows you respect it means you earned their trust. My sincere gratitude to the beautiful soul, Miss@Ellawrites for her continuous support. Thank you for to keeping me on the list of your sponsorships. I am thankful to you and to my other equally generous, wise and humble sponsor, miss @Talecharm . Despite my absences you are still willing to support me in this journey. Thank you. Happy first of June, folks!

The Man With Two Mothers Mother is one of the greatest blessings we can never replace. Her love is unconditional and it never ends. Just early this month, the world celebrated monther's day. It is very special day dedicated to that one significant woman in our lives. The woman who showed us what an unconditional love is all about. She is one of the greatest blessings we can never replace. The rarest gem. A mother is a epitome of earthly sacrificial love. The kind of love that is not just being shown during the nine months of conception, but the kind that they carry forever in their hearts and until the last leaf of life falls. It is amazing how a human being carries a new life inside her womb for a long time and wonderful is how a tiny little creation forms and takes shape in a mother's body. A mother's love for her child is unconditional and I cannot dive in the depth of mother's love. Imagine all the physical and hormonal changes their bodies have to deal with during pregnancy. They become more sensitive of the scents and things around them, their emotions change from time to time, and even their eating habits take a side turn too. His Two Equally Loving Mom Let me share to you the story of Moses in the bible and how he had two equally loving mothers. Let's take a short trip back to his life story. I will just skip some parts of the story and we will move forward to the highlighted part. *1 A man of the house of Levi went and took a daughter of Levi as his wife. 2 The woman conceived, and bore a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him three months. 3 When she could no longer hide him, she took a papyrus basket for him, and coated it with tar and with pitch. She put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river's bank. 4 His sister stood far off, to see what would be done to him.* 5 *Pharaoh's daughter came down to bathe at the river. Her maidens walked along by the riverside. She saw the basket among the reeds, and sent her handmaid to get it. 6 She opened it, and saw the child, and behold, the baby cried. She had compassion on him, and said, "This is one of the Hebrews' children." 7 Then his sister said to Pharaoh's daughter, "Should I go and call a nurse for you from* *the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you?" 8 Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Go." The maiden went and called the child's mother. 9 Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Take this child away, and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages." The woman took the child, and nursed it. 10 The child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. She named him Moses, and said, "Because I drew him out of the water."* Book of Exodus, chapter 2. According to the verses I qoute in chapter 2 of Exodus, Moses had two equally loving mothers. One is his biological mother; a Hebrew. Second is the Egyptian princess, his adoptive mother. His two mothers played important roles in his life. His biological mother gave him life through conception and she took care of him until he grew. By the time he became old enough, he was brought to the Pharaoh's daughter and soon became her son. The latter gave him the life with prosperity. A kind life that his former mother cannot give. You see, both his mothers owned two different roles in his life, but they met halfway all due to their love for Moses. They were Moses' two towers. What did his biological mother chose for Moses? She chose the life of Moses. She chose to not take away his life. She chose to gave him to the person who can shelter him and gave him security and protection. What did his adoptive mother chose for Moses? She chose to give him a comfortable life and the rights to become his son despite the fact that she knew he was the son of a Jewish lady. She chose to love him as her own. A mother's love for a child cannot be measured by the form of conception only. It's not exclusive for that very reason. A mother's love can be measured by the work of sacrifices that comes in many form. Moses' mothers made difficult decisions for his welfare. Giving your son away must have hurt like a two-edged sword that cuts through you deeply. It was also an act of bravery for his egyptian mother to adopt him. Brave in a way that her decision might have led to dethronement, but she pursued all for love. A mother's love for us is commendable and inspiring. Hence, show your love to them while you still have the chance. Speak words of affection, spend quality time with them and show them your love through your actions. A chance lost will forever be lost. They are our greatest blessings that we never can replace. *My short story:* *I lost my mother to cancer in 2012. It was the lowest season in my life. I was so devastated for I was not able to reciprocate the amount of love she gave me, but I know everything has a purpose.* *Oh, wait. This would be another story to tell.* Hi, precious readers! Thank you for staying with me up until this time. Your presence is much appreciated. This would be all for the time being. Till next time! Shalom🤎 Written by: MyMayumi

BPO Experience: Route Came To Dead End **Everyone has their own roads to take that leads to different direction. A long and winding road, a crooked and narrow way, a deep or steeped route, and a beaten path. Whichever ground we walk over, ascertain, our travel will teach us valuable lessons.** My BPO experience was quick yet unforgettable. The memoirs are treasured safely in the chambers of my heart. To my precious readers, today I will walk you down memory lane. To the time at which my pursuance of BPO life begins. The very first job I sought after college. The Elements of Happiness and Sadness With a determined mind and driven heart, I went to Cebu months after I finished college and landed a job. One that filled my enthusiastic heart with the elements of happiness and sadness. Landing a BPO job is not easy. All the more if it's a well-named company. You'll experience not just a single interview but a series. You'll have to go through varied assessments before you get hired and be one of the agents. I kid you not, it was not a piece of cake. I've tried and failed several times. I've applied from one company to another. Then, I finally found where I belong and I stayed in that company for three months time. Like any other job, we were trained for months to be equipped with the know-hows of our account, did mock-ups and mastered coping with diverse customers to empathize with them and give them the satisfactions and services the account has to offer. Most importantly we trained and honed our communication skills. These are the preparatory things to fulfill for you to be welcomed on the productions floor. ***On a side note:*** *Do not believe in people saying, one can never be a call center agent if he is not good in speaking English. Nope! That is one of the purpose of training. To hone one's communication skills. Not to make it perfect but just good enough. Good enough to understand the customer's demands.* During my stay, I've experienced and felt the **elements** of **happiness**. **Positive emotions, meaning** and **accomplishment.** On the contrary, I had also let my guard down over **sadness**. **Regrets, dissapointments** and **dismay** when an unpleasant event befell us, the wave 97 (the name of our team). For three months, I earned new friends. The ones with good qualities and optimistic outlooks. I was grateful for them for they had showed me goodness. Though I was not close to all of them, but I am glad my path crossed theirs for once. I remember the time when we finally made our way to prod floor, we were excited but anxious too. Thankfully, our coaches and team leader guided us well. Fast forward, we became comfortable in our work. Dealing with customers became easy. Everything was okay but only in my wishful thinking. Our number of customers downsized. There were more avails than queueing. Hence, the owner of the company, a famous charitable man, one of the top 10 world's richest, the owner of microsoft, none other than Bill Gates himself, decided it was time to reduce the numbers of employees. Since we are probationaries, we were the ones affected. All of us in wave 97. In a swoosh wave 97 dissolved. We were deeply saddened by the happening. Although we were given the option to apply for another account in the same company, and guaranteed us that we will be prioritized, not all of us seized the opportunity. Prolly because their dreams were shattered and so, hopes went down the drain. But in the end, most of us were re-hired, some have looked for a shelter in another company, and few have taken another road. And, I am one of the few. Thankful to my therefore difficult to forget experience, I have now become a public school teacher. If Bill Gates had not decided to dissolve us. I would never think of pursuing my profession. Kidding aside, it was not because of him. It was God who orchestrated it all. I was not meant to be a call center agent anyway but I am meant for teaching. This is the road God intended me to walk on. Surely it will be **a long and winding road.** Thank you for staying with me up until this time. This would be all for the this article. Till next time! Shalom Friends!♡ Written by: MyMayumi

Do Not Fear ***“He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day.”*** **~*****Psalms 91:4-5*** Fear is a one great enemy. It is an strong emotion that brings about the feeling of being afraid. Like worms that eat all of the green life of a tree when they are seasoned to attack, fear creeps into our system as soon as our body sense of unpleasant things or danger. What is fear? *Fear is when you walk alone in a dark alley and you feel a sudden rush of adrenalin that made you run at the top your lungs* *It is fear when a farmer loses his business* *Fear is when your body hair stood up and feathers for an unseen host.* Fear causes the epinephrine hormones to gush in your body; adrenaline rush resulting to a heart rate and breathing rate increase, and vessels pump more blood to your muscles. There are many discussions about fear. It has explanations in relation to its physical and psychological effect on us. But, I prefer not to dig deeper for I know one needs ample of time to fully grasp all of the information there is about this topic. And, my cognition is not conditioned to be loaded with lots of information just yet. So, please bear with my shortcomings. Now, Here are the common problems that triggers my fear: ***Fear of Failure*** ***Fear of ill health or sickness*** ***Fear of Public Speaking*** ***Fear of Rejection*** ***Fear of the Uncertainty*** ***Fear of Loved Ones Dying*** ***Fear of Snake (***Ophidiophobia***)*** Fear does not only have negative impact on us but it encompasses positive as well as fear gives us warning of the possibility of bad things to happen. It prepares our body and mind to it. To react to it in a positive way. Hence, fear is not only a harmful emotion but it can be healthy as well. Out of all, there is one fear that strengthens our faith. It is the **Fear of God**. It means we submit to the sovereignity of God. To His divinity and omnipotence. To His power and glory. The Lord will sustain and deliver us from the bondage of fear. According to Isaiah 41:10 NIV How do you overcome fear? Acknowledge and face your fears - Embrace your fears. Do not run from it. It is just an illusion; a mere product of an imagination; things that are unreal. What you plant in your mind, grows in the soul and it will find a way to thrive. Overcome your fear God's way: constantly pray. Believe that He will deliver you and strengthens your resolve. He will keep you safe under His wings. Let no toils and snares wave you into fears. All of us are fair partakers of fear. No one is exempted. We go through it. The little children up to the adults. Even animals can feel it too. If you are to choose one, are you going to dwell in the shadow of fear forever? Or are you brave and courageous enough to step into the light and let the shadow befall behind you? Whichever side should you suppose, remember that **F.E.A.R** can either be "**F**orget **E**verything **A**nd **R**un" or "**F**ace **E**verything **A**nd **R**ise" Writer's Note: Thank you for staying with me up until this late of the night. Your presence is much appreciated. This would be all for the time being. Good night friends! Shalom♡ Written by: MyMayumi

Day 2 & 3 of Camotes Island Experience Travel Blog No.2 (Day 2 & 3) Date: May 11-13,2022 **Take memories, leave footprints** Source https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/life/travel/a28917249/travel-instagram-captions/ *Traveling to a destination that you have never been before gives you the feeling of eager enthusiasm. You'll get to see wonderful views, you'll cross paths with individuals that are unfamiliar to you and you'll gain new learning experiences.* As promised, here's the continuation of my writing about our getaway in Camotes Island. I hope you enjoy! ***Here it is..****.* Day 2: We woke up early in the morning and did our mantras. We wanted to maximize the time left and visited 8 out of 10 beautiful destinations. We brought with us the essentials and immediately went to start the tour in the beautiful island. It was a fun-filled, satisfying and exhausting day. When we go to an escapade, we make sure that we have the list of the places we wanted to visit. Whether it is on a beach surrounded with white shore pebbles, a body of fresh water such as lake or waterfalls, walking through an area of high mountains, or explore the inside of a marvellous cave. Here are the list of the beautiful destinations we've been to during our trip: Lake Danano Timubo Cave Tulang Diot Heaven Cave Paraiso Cave Amazing Island Cave and Resort Santiago Bay Beach Resort Mangodlong Rock Resort Lake Danao From our accomodation area, we traversed the path for thirty (30) minutes to our first destination. The beautiful *Lake Danao* This place was very beautiful to the eyes and refreshing to the soul. When we finally get to see this beautiful view of natural scenery, we felt like being lost in a paradise. There are many activities this place offer to visitors to experience the wonders of Lake Danao to its fullness. They have boat paddling, boat tour around the island beside the lake, snorkling, and the zip line. As for us, we wanted to experience the adrenaline of riding in a cable with harness and safety helmet attached to our head. Hence, the zip line. It was a whole new experience for us. It was scary, but we enjoyed every bit of it. After you try all the exciting activities and then you get famished, the next thing you wanted to do is to fill your tummy with fresh and delish meals, worry not, they got you covered. **Timubo Cave, Heaven Cave, Paraiso Cave and Amazing Island Cave** We visited four cave in one day and dived in its clean and fresh water. The caves are situated in different barangays. Thus, we travelled from one place to another. Inside each cave you'll see amazing rock formations and get mesmerised by it. There are also pools in each with different depths. The Timubo's and Heaven's are shallow while the Paraiso's and Amazing Island's are deep. ***Here' a friendly reminder from yours truly:*** ***Be extra careful going inside a cave. The passage is narrow and crooked, slippery and wet. You must be mindful of your steps.*** ***And, if you also have phobia of narrow and dark places, you may not want to consider getting inside a cave.*** The water is very refreshing and it relaxes your body. It is a good place for you to relax and do some stress debriefing. Tulang Diot Our next stop, Tulang Diot. An island across Tulang Dako. To get there, we rode on a boat for three (3) minutes. As soon as we set foot on the fine white sand, we opted not to waste more of our time and dived into the clear and blue water. Like a child, we played with the waves and soaked in scorching heat of the sun and didn't mind getting burned at all. We just want to enjoy every moment of our stay there. Mangodlong Rock Resort *" I left my heart in Mangodlong Rock* " It is the famous phrase (Landmark) in Mangodlong Rock Resort where the visitors took pictures of every time they visit the resort. It was attached to a massive rock where some of the cottage are situated as well. During our visit there, the place was filled with many wanderers like us as well. People who wanted nothing but to enjoy the scenic view and escape from hustle bustle of their every day lives. True to it's famous line, we left our hearts in Mangodlong Rock because we were enchated by its conduciveness for relaxation. It is a must to visit in the island. Santiago Bay Beach Resort This is one of the our favorite place during our getaway. Aside from the location (it is near to the place we stayed at) the place is truly a paradise. It is the the best we've been to by far. The sand is fine and white. We even walk barefooted and felt the warm sand. The water is clear as crystal, and the sea breeze is refreshing too. Just near the shore, there are stalls and diners for you to choose scrumptious dishes when ever you feel famished. They offer lots of choices for you. From fresh seafoods and seaweeds to vegetables and meat. You can order any of your liking. For me, I appreciate this place most each time the night falls. The sweet accoustics, the place became livelier at dusk, the good vibe, the sea breeze, and of course, I must never forget to mention the delish meals. What I Have Learned from My Short Vacation In the Island *Every adventure is a discovery not only of wondrous nature, splendid creations, kind people and sumptuous meals but of new life learning experiences too.* First, I am grateful to God for the previlige to travel, for the monetary provision, courage and strenght to embark an adventure to a an unfamiliar place, for the guidance and protection, and for His never ending grace and favor. Day 1 of 3: Camotes Island Experience Travel Blog No. 1 (Day 1 of 3) Date: May 11-13,2022 Every adventure is a discovery not only of wondrous nature, splendid creations, kind people and sumptuous meals but of new life learning experiences too. So, go on a journey, explore and experience the life there is outside your own world. Hello, dear friends! How have you been these past few days? I wasn't able to publish articles for these past three days because I journeyed on a ship together with my three good friends. We embarked an adventure to Camotes Island. We stayed there for three (3) days and two (2) nights. My sincere apology for not updating or writing any article in between the days that we spent there due to exhaustion. I'm hoping for your kind consideration. Our stay there was filled with fun activities, fascinating views, sweet accoustics, and excellent food. And of course, I must never forget to mention what makes this travel an amazing one, it's the good company that I have been with. Thank you @Itsmeteacherleny and my two other good friends for being with me on this trip. To more aventures with you, soon! Alright, with no further ado, I shall begin the storytelling... How We Travel From Ormoc City to Camotes Island Day 1: I and my friends came from different municipalities in Leyte. We traverse few kilometers from our municipalities and met our paths in Ormoc City where our ferry boat awaited for us to aboard. We came to the place two-hour early so we decided to bought food and snacks for our two and half hours sea travel to our destination. We embarked the boat 11:30 A.M. When we set our feet to the boat, all the seats were all taken and there is no way we are going to stand up and be uncomfortable for this trip because we booked earlier that the others. So, we called the attention of one of the in-charge and they added a long chair for us four to seat in. By the time we settled down, we took out our lunch and started to munch before the boat sailed. Few minutes passed, the Philippine Coast Guard came in and checked if the boat have abided by the standards and instruction. Ay exaclty 12:00 Noon, we sailed to our destination. We are grateful for the provision of good weather, the sea was so cooperative. It was calm and serene and we had a smooth sail. We Ashore Out Of the Ship To A Wrong Port Now this is a funny experience I want to share with you. Due to thrill and excitement, we disembarked to the wrong port. Blame us not, we were not quiet informed that there are more than one port in Camotes Island and that's why we came out of the ship immediately to the port of Esperanza. We walked a few steps and waited for our travel guide. Few moments have passed, he was not there yet. So, we called him and only to found out we went ashore out of the ship to a wrong port. He instructed us to go back to the boat. We then walked at the top of our speed back to the boat. Phew! Glad that the boat didn't leave yet. The other people on the boat wondered why we came back and we told them of what had happened and yes! they confirmed too that we disembarked to the wrong port. Finally, after approximately twenty (20) minutes we arrived to the port of Bococ ad sure enough, the travel guide was waiting for us already. What an epic and fun experience it was! From Bococ to Santiago From Bococ Port, we journeyed to Santiago. The air was fresh, there were many trees and you can even hear the sound of insects on the ways. It was a typical provincial scenario. After an hour, we finally arrived to our accomodation area and rested there for few hours before we went to the beach and ate our dinner there. If you will to ask, we did not follow the itenirary for day one because we arrived so late. It was almost 5:00 P.M. So, the guide suggested we start our tour on the next day. Flexing my gorgeous sponsors. Thank you for your constant support. ♡ ***Disclaimer:*** *The photos included in this blog is either mine or my friends'. They have given me the full consent to use it in this platform. This is intended for entertainement purposes only.* **Writer's note:** Please follow the second part of this blog. Will publish it soon. I hope you enjoy today's writing. See you in the continuation of this article. Shalom♡ Written by: MyMayumi Travel Blog No. 1

NLE 2022 **Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.** *Romans 13:1 NIV* Every after six (6) years for the national, and three (3) years for the local, we, Filipinos under the Philippine Constitution, are given the priviledge to choose rightful candidates to be elected from the highest position to the lowest there is in the government. We excersise our rights to choose among the qualified persons to be subjected for a position in the public office. By qualified, it means that they have meet all the requirements needed for them to run for a specific position in our country. Accoding to the Philippine Constitution (Article VII Section 2 of the 1987 Constitution) an individual or person is qualified to run for a Presidential/Vice Presidential positions provided he meet all the following criteria. (S)He is a natural born Filipino; A registered voter; Able to read and write; Must be forty (40) years of age at the day of the election, and Must have resided in the Philippines ten (10) years before the election is held For the Cabinet positions down to Local Government Unit, you may refer to the link below for their qualifications. Online Source: https://www.officialgazette.gov.ph/about/gov/exec/ The candidates, are actively doing their parts by campaigning, doing grand rallies, and immersing themselves to the crowd for a purpose of gaining their trust and interest. They explain their platforms and future plans for the benefit of the country and its people. Voting is deemed important not only for the Filipinos but to other nations as well. Consequently, during elections, vote for those who truly have the hearts to service the nation, those who upholds justice and care to the people, and those who promotes equity and equality in the law. Choose the qualified, those who have a clean track records, those who have what it takes to be in the position, those who have earthly and heavenly wisdom, and those who will selflessly devote himself for the sake and love of the country and its people. Thus, vote with dignity. Vote wisely! Horrible Incidents In Our little Town Days Before the NLE 2022 ***A man was shot dead on a neighboring sitio.*** The first frightful plight happened 3 days before the election. On facebook, as I was looking for election-related updates, I saw a friend's shared post about a man from a neighboring Sitio whom I knew of but not so well, was shot dead on the fore and back head. The man was said to be riding a motorcycle and was on his way home. He crossed path with a riding-in-tandem gunmen along a dark area. He was brought to the hospital but he was already dead on arrival. The reason of his death was not disclosed. But there are many untrustworthy news lurking over social media. ***Another man was cornered and killed by gun men.*** **Gun man-** a man armed with a gun; a professional killer. -*Merriam Websters Dictionary* This incident happened during dawn. The man was driving a car along the road of a little sitio when he was cornered by four vehicles. His car was ambushed by professional killers and was rained with bullets. The man died on the spot. The identities of the people who killed him was not disclosed too. ***A shooting incident with armies and gun for hired men.*** This is the most traumatic to the people in the town proper. There was a shooting incident that caused many people hid in fear. When they heard of the gun shots, they can't think of anything but to hide to save their souls. There was even another bad occurence when one of the candidates was threatened to be killed. Fortunately, his wife who happened to be at their backyard, had the chance to run and seek help. These situations tell us that politics is not for those who are faint-hearted because it can also be dirty and dangerous place for people to dwell in. Some people are willing to kill and cause harm to others just to suffice their thirst for powers. Even though it means they should do the unimaginable. **Preparations for the National and Local Elections 2022** Days before the awaited NLE, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) together with the affiliates (Electoral Board Committees and others) were bustling due to the dry-runs, final Vote Counting Machines (VCM) testings and other election-related activities. They work collaboratively to do neccessary activities to avoid and minimize glitches and other problems to occur during the election day. The Day of the NLE 2022 May 09,2022 The Electoral Board Members together with the DESO Tech, PNP and other affiliates came early to their respective precints, clusters and stations for the National and Local Elections 2022. We were all set for that day's event. Yes, I was also one of the EB Support Staff. We started the election by prayer. We needed the intervening power of God for the election that day. Glory be to God, there were no big problems. Though the VCM paper jamed, but aside from the minor problem, there were none more. **Submission To The Governing Authority** Why is there a need for to submit to the governing authority? In my perspective as a citizen of a governing country, It is vital for us to be subjected to the governing authority because it is for our own welfare. We need to be a good law-abiding citizens who promotes solidity in life, direction and purpose. In the bible, it is said that there is a need for us to submit to the governing authority because it is God who established it. In other words, following the mandate of the government, as long as it's just and humane and not violating any rights, it also means we are following God's command. **Online Bible Reference:** https://romans.bible/romans-13-1 Hello, dear readers. Thank you for staying with me. I hope you have a good rest tonight. Till next time. Shalom!♡ Written by: MyMayumi

Life Is a Series of New Beginnings May 8, 2022 (Sunday) 4:00 P.M. Failure is never an issue for you to stand back up again. It is not an endpoint for you to start afresh. Thus, get back up and begin again. **Life Is A Series Of New Beginnings Of Falling Down and Getting Up Again** In life, we will experience many falling downs. We will stumble on our feet, we get hurt, we cry, our hearts get broken or be filled with sorrows, and we will lose the will to go on. But, this is not what life is all about. Life is a series of new beginnings of getting up as well. The new beginnings of dreams, passion, purpose and life meaning. Like learning how to ride a bicycle, we get to experience falling downs, getting injured, our skin get scratched or bruised. When we tumble down, we often think, "*I failed again, I might as well give up."* Should you resort to giving up in an instance Or should you rather have a great courage? Now, if my opinion is to be asked, I would say: *Continue to practice and push not only your two-foot on the pedals but your courage and will too until you finally learn the perfect way to control it.* Life Is A Series of New Beginnings: New Life With God God is a God of new beginnings. His mercy never ends. When any one of us repents, He is faithful and just to forgive of our sins. Failures will not be a hindrance for God to show His love towards us. He even purposely let failures happen for us to grow in our faith and become wiser. ***He uses our failures to make us wiser.*** Failures are the events in our lives that cripples our self-trust. It is also one of the contributing factor that make us aloof towards realising our dreams, our passion, purpose and meaning. When it occur to us repeatedly, it will be more difficult for us to get up and resist getting corrupted by it. Our life is like a glass filled with water. The glass represents us; water is faith and the one who shakes it is God. When the glass is to be shaken, water gets spilled. Thus, the glass get half emptied or end up having none. What should you do the half empty glass?Would you rather throw away what's left on the glass or re-fill it to make it full again? Whatever choice we make, it will have an impact on us. Throwing away what's left on the glass means we let ourselves be victims of our own failures without even giving a chance to do better. On the other hand, if you wish to re-fill the glass to make it full again, it means you wanted to re-kindle the ounce of faith you have for yourself and start afresh. It means you entrust your plans to God. Sometimes, our ego can make us resist starting again. The pridefulness of man make us distant from God. Thus, let go of the ego, embrace failures, and practice humility. Find joy in the middle of failures for it is God's way of Teaching us Guiding and instructing us to be humble Whenever we feel like failure and wanted to start again, go to the Lord in humility, and He'll show us that He is God of new beginnings With God, new beginnings are possible in our hearts. He can help us to let go of the past and to start a new life. A life with dreams, passion, purpose and meaning. Hello, dear readers. Yesterday marked my First month here on Read.Cash. Yay!🎉 Achievement Unlocked🔓 I would like to apologise for being not around, not able to write an article for two days and haven't read of your works for a reason of attending the Children's Retreat. A Very Present Help in Times of Trouble *In the middle of the night and you woke up troubled, who will be there to watch over you?* *In fears and chaos, loss and despair, who will give you the will and strength to go through it?* In the middle of the night when a child wakes up from a bad dream, he will immediately scream or cry for help. And when no one listens to him, he will not cease to cry, not until he hears the footsteps of his parents drawing near his room, and go check up on him. A child is frightened of the dark and is so afraid to be alone. Thus, he will look for someone to tuck him in, stay with him, and to keep him safe and secure until he closes his eyes, falls back into sleep and finally, finds his way back to dreamland. *Yesterday, while I was reading some of the good articles written by different writers, I came across a particular writer who is known and recognized by many in this platform. She is greatly admired by many because of her praise-worthy and inspiring articles. And I am also one of the many.* *Her writing skills and intellect in writing simply amazes me. So, I dropped a comment on her article. At 5:27 in the afternoon, my notif bell lit red and I have been informed that a new sponsor in the person of* @Talecharm *is willing to pay for my articles and I am over the moon. I never thought I would be seen by her. And in a heartbeat, I approved of the request.* *A sincere thank you to all my sponsors* @Ellawrites*,* @Zhyne06 *and now* @Talecharm *. In a span of three weeks, I have gained 3 generous sponsors. I am so overjoyed. Thank you my dear sponspors for being a channel of blessings to me and hopefully to others as well.* **Someone Will Watch over You** ***Someone will stay with you and give you the consolation you need when you are troubled,*** ***Someone will come to your rescue in the middle of your crisis,*** ***Someone*** ***who will selflessly put your needs first instead of his.*** In the darkness of the night, in the midst of trouble, and in the uncertainties of tomorrow, someone will be the there watch over us and keep us safe under his wings. In our lives we will be encountering storms. The raging seas and strong winds will try to shake our boats as we sail across the sea. Yes, we are the captain of our own ships, but we need an **anchor** than holds our boat steady, and a **compass** that helps us navigate through the sea and find the right way out. Someone will watch over you, and that someone can be.. ***A family member***- the very first person that shares a strong connection to us. Someone who is with you all through your life. All other members in your household may not know all of your personal battles, but we have that one person in the circle that we can easily count on in our lowest time. ***A Friend*** - someone who became a big part of your life. A friend is a confidant. Someone who knows you by heart —your secrets and intentions. ***A Workmate -*** a colleague that you get along well. Someone whom you can share your worries and troubles comfortably and give you advices ***A Stranger -*** someone you met along the way. You don't know them personally, but listens to you and not misjudge you. ***God -*** the perfect, all-powerul and the One whom we need help the most. He is our stronghold and fortress. If we have Him, there will be no storms and no troubles that can stand against us. ***Our perfect consolation can be found in Him.*** He Will Give You the Strength to Go Through it As human as we are, we tumble down on our knees when things become so overwhelming and we can no longer take hold of the weight we carry. These certain times, we may lose the will to walk through the valley of worries and fall into the ground as we lose the strength to continue the journey. When you almost become hopeless, He will give us the strenght to go through it. All you need is to take a leap of faith. Do not be afraid because... ***He will be your feet that walks you out of that crooked path*** ***He will give you the strength to carry on,*** ***He will protect you from any difficulty,*** ***He will not give you what you can not withstand,*** ***He will equip you,*** ***and He will sustain you,*** Thus,do not fret and lose hope. Hold on, be courageous and be steadfast in faith because **He will be your refuge and ever present help in times of trouble.** Shalom friends!♡ Written by: MyMayumi

What I am Hopeful of May May 1, 2022 (Sunday) 10:08 P.M. As a beginner here on Read.Cash, I have observed that many users are creating articles about their goals and expectations of a month that is heading their ways. Writers from different background and culture have excitedly written their hopes and target for this month of the year. Perhaps it has been part of the tradition in this platform to do a monthly report of accomplishment and setting goals to achieve within a time frame. In my opinion, it's a good thing because making a checklist of aspiration, make us become motivated to do the best that we can for we already know which path we should go and what awaits us if we are bold and willed enough to accomplish it. I have seen a lot of motivations reflected on the articles of different inspiring writers on this space. Many of which is written with conviction. I can see that they have the need to continue their journey because this platform help them in many ways. As per observation, here are few of the reasons why ReadFamily set their goals: **To manifest and attract**- you are giving off positive vibes to bring out something good in return. As what others say, you attract what you manifest. If you are not confident that get you'll get what you planned to, then you won't. When setting a goal, make sure you are optimistic. **To be goal-driven -** setting goals makes us very determined to succeed. Drive is the force that pushes us go and do what we are set to do. **To be more productive-** working hard makes us do or achieve a lot of things. We have to set our best foot forward and don't let the spirit of tardiness block in your way. **To learn more-** all of us here have the hunger to expand horizons. Each and everyone are partakers of sharing knowledge in different fields. **To inspire -** I think this is one of the best motivations I heard of. To inspire and touch other's lives by creating articles with invaluable lessons. I have read articles coming from different writers that is written in this manner. Stories that are life-changing. **Like any other, I also have high hopes of this month. I also have things I want to accomplish but as a newbie, I would want to make the basic steps and make progress slowly and surely.** This month is very special to me not because it is a festival-filled month but because it's the month that I will celebrate my birthday. I am looking forward to it? —Yes because I know God has so much plans for me. Hi dear, readers. Here are my kind and generous sponsors. If you want to read good pieces of work, check their profiles and you'll surely find one. Hihi Many thanks! Going back.... As a newbie, I wanted to not only learn about the essentials in order for my ReadFamily to grow big but also for me to be equipped of the things that matter. So, let me present to you two of my aspirations for this month. These are what I am hoping to fulfill this May. **Be consistent in writing articles -** I admit it that I am not consistent in writing articles because it difficult to juggle between work and personal stuffs. My work is demanding much time from me all the more that the National and Local Election is just eight days away. I'll be a lot busier as I will be serving on the NLE. **Reading and engaging** - Now, this is one of the challenging part. Due to work and other stuffs, I can not read my friends' articles on time and interact with them. But with assurance I will tell you, I am reading the articles you published and trust that I will take it by heart. Therefore, I need to really work on these matters and be more interactive. For these are only my simple ways (for now because I don't have sufficient $ just yet) of showing my gratitude and support to all of you. Hello, friends! Thank you for stopping by. Your presence is highly appreciated. How do you find this piece? You may drop your thoughts in the comment section below. I'd love to read it. Shalom♡ Written by: MyMayumi

The Young Man's Last Trip in this Lifetime In this temporal world there is no thing such as permanent. Our wealth, career, health, lifestyle, the peole we love including us, we are bound to reach the end of our lives when it's due time. The other day, I was sorrowed by the local news that I have read on the internet. It was pertaining a young man who was *about* to journey home. Yes, the young man was not able to reach his end destination. He was almost there yet. One more municipality to pass through then he could have reached his hometown and see his family but he was not given the chance to. His life ended inside the metro bus. He was sitting there peacefully with his head tilted to the window and if you could only see his face, there's no sign of suffering imprinted on it. Passengers and the driver thought he was just exhausted so he took a nap. When the vehicle approached the terminal, that's the time when they learned that the poor young man wasn't just napping. He was with nobody on the bus so not a soul had a clear identification of him. Hence, they took pictures of him, circulated it online so the family can see it. When the late young man's mother and little brother heard of the news and saw of the pictures, she broke into tears and was filled with grief. With her heart broken, she immediately went to the place where her late son's body is. We can never know when is death gonna come knocking on our doors. What we only knew is by the time it comes, no matter how we lock the door, it can look for ways to get inside for it is inevitable. There are different categories of death: Natural death - when someone reached his reaping season, and as a result of illness or health condition, eventually, people dies Accident- It is a sudden event, was not planned or intended such as car accidents and domestical. You least expect it to happen. Homicide- this is indicted by other people. Someone is involved in such event. Suicide- the person himself commited the sin by taking his own life. Undetermined - reasons are not detemined. An unsolve case of death. Our life here on earth is like a tree that withered when it's season. From being sturdy and strong, we'll grow weak and faint, and eventually cease to live. This implies that we don't have a hold of our life. It is by God's grace and mercy that we live and thrive. Hence, live a life that is fulfilling, meaningful and acceptable to Him. For we don't have a certainity as to when He'll gonna take back the life He has entrusted to us. Hello, friends! Thank you for stopping by. Your presence is highly appreciated. How do you find this piece? You may drop your thoughts in the comment section below. I'd love to read it. Shalom♡ Written by: MyMayumi

You Are Beautiful *I sat near the window, inhaled fresh clean air, when suddenly the conductor tapped my shoulder twice. He called me but his voice didn't get through my hearing for my mind was in total sync with the mesmering scenery.* I remember the time when I commuted my way home. I hit the road for three hours and passed by two cities then finally arrived in my hometown. Halfway home, I came across a mesmerising scenery of green fields, tall mountains, and forest. As soon as my eyes where fixated to it, my body and spirit were held captive of the wonderful creation and rested in tranquility. You are beautiful because God made you You are beautiful even by the time you took shape in your mother's womb for you are fearfully and wonderfully made. *Psalms 139:13-14 “For it was You who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I will praise You because I have been fearfully and wonderfully made”.* Red, yellow, black and white no matter what skin color you have, you are equally precious because you are crafted by the Greatest artist of all time—God. With love, He made every part of you body intricately from the inside to the outside. From the tip of your hair to you toe nails, maybe you are partly like but totally unlike others. He formed you after His own likeness and that's what make you a beautiful one. *While scrolling through a social media platform, I saw a video of a beautiful five-year old baby girl who looked intently in the mirror as her mom combed back her pretty kinky hair when she suddenly blurted out, "I am ugly, Mom, I am ugly" multiple times. The mom was taken aback, she was surprised by the little one's exclamation. Where did she get the idea? Why did she think that way? Suppressing her tears, she gently assured her little one, "My sweet girl, you are beautiful. Your eyes are, your cute little kinky hair are, your nose, your bright smile and even your heart. You're perfect in any way, don't think you are not. All that you can see in the mirror is a masterpiece. You are beautiful because God created you to be one."* Here's what I have to say about this worrisome situation: It's sad that as young as five-year old, it was already instilled to her mind this world's interpretation of what's so-called 'Beauty'. The one that merely come from outward adornement. The impressive physique or the seemingly perfect-tuned body, the well-proportioned face, the skin type, your hair color and more. The list goes on. Have you ever wonder why many are willing to do alterations on their bodies? Is it only because of their insecurities? Or them being uncomfortable of their flaws?—Yes, but not only for those reasons. The world is partially at fault. This world has put so much pressure on them by creating standards and if you don't fit in or if you are not qualified, you'll be ousted or receive unfavorable comments from the people sorrounding them. **Let us make this world a better and safe place for our children to live in. Where race, skin color, or beauty standard can never become a hindrance of living in harmony.** **Let us not be the kind of people who sees beauty according to what is pleasing to the eyes, but be the ones who examine the heart. A true definition of beauty.** **To you who is reading this:** **You are beautiful inside and out. Do not let any remarks tell you you're not. You are beautiful because you are giving, loving and caring. You are beautiful because you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are a work of art; a MASTERPIECE.** Hello, everyone! Hope you have a nice day! Shalom♡ Written by: MyMayumi

It Was But A Fleeting Moment **"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best," and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called."** ~ A. A. Milne Have you heard of an old adage that says, "***The eyes are the windows to the soul?***" It is cliché to others but it holds an impact to me. All the more when I encountered my never have I thought would be a fleeting moment. I *can vividly remember the eerie feeling I've felt when I took a glance at him as we came across each other in a corridor. It was the kind that made me uneasy and lost my grace. During that time, there were only two of us when he apparently reciprocated the awkward moment by looking away and not acknowledging my existence. He didn't say anything like I wasn't there. He just walked fast-paced. When I passed through him I was kind of relieved from the uncomfortable situation.* That scenario kept on replaying in my head like a scratched CD because I was puzzled why I felt that way. Little did I know, he was already harboring feelings for me. Days had passed I have seen him sneaking peeks from me. Giving me a gaze then suddenly looked away when I looked back at him. Although there were also times when my eyes met his. His eyes spoke words that his mouth cannot and it was delivered to me clear as crystal. Then, later have I realized, those cute little gesture rooted in my heart and sprouted as the time went by. One time, I, together with my best pals at work went to the city and visited and offered our condolences to a colleague who lost a sister. Shortly after we paid a visit and bid goodbye to our workmate, we walked in the streets of the city to look for a room to stay in. When suddenly one of his friend, who happened to be with us told me that the guy liked me. I can't described how happy I was hearing her exclaimed with a wide smile. If you were me, wouldn't you be so happy upon hearing such words? Fast forward, a lot of people from our workplace were teasing and hoping us to be together. We even had a photograph during valentines day and he even found his way to my dreams and it seemed like everything was fine. But, it didn't turned out the way I thought it would be. We were not meant to be together. What we had **were but a fleeting moment.** In the present: I have accepted the turn of events. Though my crush on him lasted for two years without him knowing it went that long, I am glad that I have overcame it and I am happy than he is now happy. My realization: God has a purpose in my life. He made me realize that if my plan is not in accordance to His, He will not allow it to happen no matter how I desire it to be. So 'll keep the faith. Hello, beautiful soul! I hope you had fun reading. If you have any question, suggestions, reccomendations or even violent reaction (LOL) you may interact with me in the comment section below. I'd love to know you. He is Beyond Us *There are lots people who consider themselves as high-and-mighty beings. They see themselves as superior over others just because of their high status in the society, their wealth, power and their connections.* April 24,2022 (Sunday) 10:00 P.M. A wonderful sunday evening to everyone. How well did you spend your day? To me, this day was special because I got the priviledge to honor and glorify God's name. Even though I am far away from my home church, I got the chance to participate in an online Sunday Service, sang songs of praise and listened to His Word. For a moment, I was downhearted because I wasn't able to get home and listened to the preaching physically but I was blessed enough to listened to it virtually. It doesn't matter where you are but what matter is the intention of your heart. Do it for the advancement of His glory. I thank God for His goodness, for the gift of life, for His mercy and love, and for His abounding grace. ***Soli Deo Gloria*** King is a symbol of power and greatness . He is supreme, all-powerful, and his dominion is felt all over his kingdom. He has the authority and his voice is the law. If he issues a decree, you won't wish to disobey it because you'll risk yourself of ending up being in a cell, be severly reprimanded or worse. Hence, follow. To follow a command or to be a good follower is expected us because of a pretty obvious reason, we are under the subject of a governing authority. We are citizens and under the mandate of our country. We abide the law as long as it is just and humane . But, ***what if there is oppression? What if some people exploit their power? and what if they do overstep their limitation then trample and abuse you? Would you fight and stand up for your rights? Or would you rather entrust it to the one who has the ultimate authority? To the One who is Beyond us?*** Let me briefly share to you the story of Daniel and how his faithfulness save him and earned him glory. Daniel and his friends Shadrach, Messhac, and Abednigo were held captive in Babylon by the time of King Nebuchadnezzar's reign. They were taken into the court room for they were chosen to be the king's wise men. They were pressured by the peole to forget their ways of life and to eat of the food and drink of the wine offered to them but it was against the commandments of God. So, they stood firm to their faith and the Lord gave them wisdom. They did not eat of the meat and drink of the wine instead they asked for water and grains for 10 days. They were laughed at many thought they would end up dead. But the Lord sustained them. Instead of getting weak or dying they became healthier, much healthier than any other young men in Babylon. In the end, they became the wisest and healthiest men in the kingdom and so the king kept them. What is the moral lesson of the story? For the Oppressor Having a high rank in the society doesn't give you a permission to treat others unfairly. It is not a passport nor a lisence for you to do so. You don't have the right to belittle and treat others as if their rights and wishes are not valid. Do not think of others as unworthy of respect because they belong to the marginalized class or because they don't have the same life as you, and the same privileges you you are enjoying. It is never and will ever be right to bully others and think of ourselves more significant than them. Let us all remember status, wealth and possessions are temporal. They'll vanish into thin air if we will not nurture and use it for a good purpose. For the oppressed If the battle is not worth fighting for then it is not yours to face off . Do not give in to all the evil schemes of this world. Strengthen your resolve. Be faithful. Everything is under His control. Be still and entrust it to the Sovereign of us all. He is greater that all of the greatest king in kingdoms—He is God and **He is beyond us.** Greetings of peace and love to all my readers, upvoters and to the anonymous generous tip-giver (the bot). Resolving Conflicts Dispute happen when individuals or a group of people have different point of views that may result to a much bigger problem when not settled as early as possible. We can see it featured on a television, on social media, and in social networks—digital or printed. It is rampant all over the world, from one nation to another. A dejecting part of reality. Even our neighborhood, acquaintances, close circle of friends, and family are not excused to it. This topic is timely most especially here in the Philippines as the National and Local Election 2022 is fast approaching. A lot of people are trying to prove their political stand. Convincing and empowering others to step up. On facebook and Twitter we can see a lot of commotions. A lot of political genius and enthusiast are coming out into the surface. People are taking sides. People fighting for the sake of politicians who doesn't even know they exist. People raining on somebody else's parade, ruining other's credibility, and sometimes throw insensitive and below the belt statements causing conflicts. It is not wrong to stand for the people whom you thought would help make a change in our beloved country. It is our liberty. We can exercise our freedom of speech. We have the right to speak out and tell others of our truth but we need to be cautious and aware of our speech and actions for they are like a weapon with a shard point and edge that when pointed to others, they might get cut. So, before we utter a word, we need to assess if it is appropriate to say. Isn't it our dream to live in peace and harmony? To be united and live in one accord? To have a harmonious relationship with each other? We know that life is not only about butteflies and rainbows we also face storms but would it be better if we have each other to face storms together? **How to Resolve Conflicts** Can we really evade conflicts?—No. We live in this chaotic world. We battle with it everyday in the different aspects of our lives. We may not acknowledge it but we even have conflicts over trivial matters like: Our choice of food - we don't have the same preference for food. Some people want the guilty pleasure given fast foods, foods that are delicious but unhealthy. There are vegetarians and vegans. The health conscious ones. Clothing - some wants chic-looking outfits, baggy, cozy or even pair of jeans and hoody. Some buy clothes from high-end stores and some are from the thrift stores and it is okay. We wear whatever make us comfortable. We even have conflicts over the language we speak, the lifestyle we live, possessions, etc. There are lots of contributing factors that causes conflict. Yes, we live with it everday but should we tolerate conflicts?—No. We need to set things right and decide to settle dispute as early as possible before it escalate to something bigger. How should we resolve conflicts? Address the issue- you need to look into the issue. Acknowledge its root. Where it came from and why it happened. It doesn't mean you need to find solutions to it just yet. Just have the knowledge about it. Open communication - You need to have an understanding with the people you have a disagreement with. It plays a vital role in the reconciliation of the two parties. Talk to them directly in a pleasant manner. Listen to their side of the story the same way they'll hear yours. Be mindful of the choice of words you say. Make sure it paves a way to possitive outcome. Break down your walls - show them sincerity. Ascertain that your talk would be for the benefit of everyone. Let your intention manifest on your gestures and speech. Open up. Be transparent and and don't let emotions stand in your way. Settle the problem- This should be the final step to strike a bargain . Look for a suitable resolution strategy. Lay down your terms and conditions and learn to compromise too. Hello there! Thank you for stopping by. See you in my next article. Shalom♡ Bye!

Why Mayumi? April 22, 2022 (Friday) 9:14 P.M. *When I joined this platform, I thought of a pseudonym that is suitable for me. A name that is interesting, quiet unique, and has a significant meaning* *in my life. Hence, Mayumi.* Maybe some of you may ask me if does it really matter to choose a specific nickname for us to use where in fact we can just pick random names and continue the registration and why fuss over it. Well, at some point, yes! because it is our identity in this avenue. It help our supporters/sponsors and readers to reach us conveniently whenever they want to for the reasons of them keeping posted of our articles, to subscribe or just merely to be updated of our works and vice versa. By searching our nicknames they can scan through our profile and they can also tag us in their articles if they want us to participate to it. So, we choose and personalise it in our own liking. Allow me to share to you shortly of my experience upon registration. My account name was supposed to be "Mayumi" only but when I tried to input the name it did not push through because it was either an invalid nickname so I cannot use it or it was already taken by another user. I've tried several times then I happened to affix "My" on it, and viola! finally it when through. So, it was the start of me here. Why Mayumi? *Mayumi is a Filipino word that we commonly use to describe a woman. A sweet, modest, soft-hearted, kind, and gentle woman.* Mayumi is significant to me not simply because of its definition but because it best represents me—my personality, the way I live and see life. I feel like whenever I hear this word it gives me serenity and it gives off a positive vibe. Personally, I really like this word that is why I even named it to my one special possesion, one of the most useful things I acquired. I'm thankful for it. hihi All of us have our own fair share of reasons why we choose a pseudonym and here's mine. I want to publish article for non partisanship or the susceptibility of my work being rejected once they see me using my real name. It intrigued the readers so they'll look into your profile and it benefits the author. To conceal identity just like anyone else. Even famous writer hid their identity through their "Sagisag Panulat" in Filipino language or pen name in English. I don't know why, using a pen name really hits off differently. So I liked it. hihi My reasons come from an amateur's point-of-view only. Simply out of my understanding and I don't have intention of using it in perverse manner. Hello, dear readers! Thank you for your continues support. I hope you continue to be a channel of blessing to everyone. Shalom♡

Before My 27th Revolution Around the Sun Written by: ***MyMayumi*** ***Birthday or birth anniversary is one of the most special occasions in our lives that we look forward to—one amongst the 365 wonderful days in a year that you are most grateful about.*** Exactly 12 days from now I will be turning another page of my life and I will begin the journey for my 27th revolution around the sun. It will be an exciting trip full of surprises. As that day draw nearer, I can't help but be sentimental and recollect all the experiences I've learnt all over the past years. It flashes in my memory how I grew from a child to being an adult as time passes. From a care-free innocent child to a career woman with responsibilities to shoulder. All the learning experiences: battles that I've won, tears that I've shed, problems that I've overcome, and good decisions and mistakes that I've made. There are some that I am regretful of and some that I am are thankful for. I am thankful of my experiences because It was God's work in my life. I was molded by the ***Potter's hands.*** Things That I Am Grateful For ***Gift of Life*** - A life is a gift so we must protect, nurture, cultivate, and use it for the advancement of His glory and for His purpose in us. ***Gift of Family*** - my family—my papa and my siblings are my inspiration in life. I am grateful for them because they are the source of my strength, my happiness and my motivations to do better. To hustle better. ***Gift of Friends*** - my friends are my second family. I am grateful for them for sharing an uderstanding with, for staying by my side whenever I needed them. For encouraging me when I loses my confidence and self-reliance and for emphatizing with me. Through friends I found my soul sisters. ***Gift of Wisdom and Career***- I am grateful for the work I have—being a teacher because I have a career of my own, I grow professionally and I have the ability to provide for my family. I am also grateful for the wisdom or it helps me in all my dealings:my job, my colleagues and all the people sorrounding me. Wisdom promotes understanding. Lessons I've Learned As I continue to dwell in this place, I'll always bring with me the lessons I've learned whenever and wherever I may go. I will keepsafe them in my heart and use it as shield to problems coming my way. I've learned ... ***To be faithful*** - stand firm to what you believe in. Do not be shaken. A Transactional Relationship A relationship is the connection between people, things and objects. It encompasses our behavior or ways in which we behave or deal with others. The way we act toward others depend on their level of relation we have to them and vice-versa. There are four different types of relationship: ***Family Relationships*** - a group of people binded by blood or kinship. they are the people who are living under one roof or household; parents and offprings kind of relationships. ***Friendships***- peole who really like to be with and who share an understanding with you. They are the peole who are attached to you by affection. You may not be blood-related bur you treat them as family. ***Acquaintanceships***- are the people you just get to know with but are not closer to you than a friend. ***Romantic Relationships***- are the people that you get share an intimate relationship with. It is an interpersonal relationship that involves physical and emotional attachment. A kind of relationship that you can only share with a single person in a deeper sense. What is a Transactional Relationship? Transactional relationship is a self-centered or performance-based kind of relationship. Meaning you're only giving off what you also expected to get back in return. You consider it transactional if a couple think of their relationship/ marriage as a business deal that is based only on monetary profit, goods or services. How do you know if your relationship is Transactional? " If you do your part, I'll do mine." this is a common line you can hear from someone who practices this kind of relationship. Transactional relationship establishes ***expectations from both side***. This implies that if one doesn't do his part then the other party won't do her part either. They both want ***more getting than giving.*** What is wrong with Transactional Relationship? When someone truly loves, with pure intention, he will show that kind of love that is vibrant, and transforming life. Not for self-gain because there is no ***joy*** and ***life*** in it. How do I stop being in a Transactional Relationship? Know the intentions of your heart, be honest, trustworthy, show respect to others, have an open communication and most importantly put God at the center of your relationship—these are the signs of a good and healthy relationship. *" A new command I give you! Love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another."* John 13:34 April 21,2022 12:28 A.M. Since it's past midnight, allow me to greet everyone a good morning! What It Feels To Be Home April 16, 2021 11:05 P.M. Hello, everyone. How was your day so far? It has been four days since I wrote my last article and that's because I have travelled from my workplace to our hometown and since I can only go home two or three times a month, I make sure that if I go home, every time I have would be spent well with my family. I want to cherish every minute I have with them and I am grateful of every time that I get to spend with the people that I love. *Home: What a Wonderful Word* Abode, habitat, residence, house, or a dwelling place. There may be a lot of terms you can see in the dictionary but nothing can compare to the comfort, and relaxation it can give when you call it **"*****home*****."** A place where one lives permanently especially as a member of a family or household. The very first place where you hone and nurture love. A place where you can find peace, security, understanding, and a very familiar place—a foundation of a person that you are today. It is where your inspiration and aspiration begin. The reasons why you continue to thrive. Home is the only place that you wanted to be whenever you feel burdened or burntout. Home is an escape route you wanted to take when you are bombarded by work-related chaotic schemes. Home, what a wonderful word it is. My heart is beaming with joy and excitement everytime I go home because it means I will get the chance to see my family or the people that are close to my heart again and spend quality time with them. At home,I can dig in the comforting and hearty meal that I badly missed when I am away, I can bond with them over a movie or merely talk to them about our lives—a conversation bounded by love that enriches the soul. Being at home revitalizes my soul and fuels my desire to work hard. It recharges my energy to go on and face my life's challenges. ***What does it means to be home?*** To be home doesn't only mean that you really need travel to a certain place just to relax and seek comfort or find the most familiar place where you can reminisce all the golden memories you have. You can find home even miles away or across seas because it is not the place that you consider home but the people that you are with. If you are with people that foster love—you are home. Hi again, Thank you for spending your precious time reading this article. I really appreciate it. I am also thankful to the few people who read my other articles. I hope my readers will grow bigger in the near future. How's my article? Do you have any recommendation of what content I should consider in writing my next article? If you have one, I would gladly want to know it. The Devastation Caused by Typhoon Agaton. April 11,2022 6:06 PM *I woke up at 5:00 A.M. today. I went outside of our boarding house and looked at the dark-grey sky. The sun was shy today. It did not even bother to take a peek. I looked at the sky for a little while and then the sorroundings trying to search for any remnant of the typhoon. Few moments had passed, I sat down in a chair and took a sip of my coffee and began to think of how blessed I am to be able to face another day in my life— glad I was given the chance to continue to dwell in this world.* ***Days Before the Typhoon Struck*** The town that I am working at is sorrounded by hills and rainy days are common. I may sound exaggerating, but in this place, I think rainy seasons is every season. For three years that I have stayed here, I can attest to it. People were accustomed to it and don't mind it as long as won't reach the point of flooding, dikes get broken or rivers overflow. Then, that would be another case. So, it has been raining past few days before the typhoon and people were all busy living their lives. Then, we heard of the news about "Agaton", the name of typhoon. We thought it would not be a destructive one bit little did we know, it took lives, caused damages to properties and leaved massive destruction to our neighboring towns. *The Typhoon Struck at Night* Last night, I and my colleagues were troubled and anxious as we have experienced the wrath of typhoon Agaton. For the first time, we get through a calamity far from the people we love. We were worried because we heard that the dike near us reached its full capacity of holding water and it's almost broken. The local government informed the residents near the rivers and dikes to vacate their residence for their safety. When we heard of it, we called our landlord and inform them of the situation but they assured us that if the dike overflows, it won't reach our area because the place where we stayed at is elevated. Somehow, it eases our worries. *You can just imagine how fear tried to succumb us and fortunately we did not concede to it. Although we were uncertain of what was going to happen, we prayed, stood firm to our faith, and trusted God that He will sustain us, He will take away our fears and will protect us from raging storm and he did. He protected us.* The Devastation Caused by the Typhoon After the typhoon landfall at 2:00 A.M. we were relieved, finally we have overcome it. We were safe and unharmed. As we look into the news, into some social media platforms, we saw devastation. A lot of landslides, and floods happening to our neighboring towns. Lots of people were asking for help to rescue them because floods covered their houses and because the weather won't permit the rescuers to come to them immediately, the last resort they had on their sleeves were to climb their roofs despite the danger of being carried away by flood or getting soaked of the rain. A series of unfortunate events happened because of the typhoon. There were cases of landslides wherein the whole barangay was coved by mud and you can only see the roofs of the houses. People were trapped. A lot of people suffer, many lives were taken away. Some made it out alive and some didn't. *Imagine how this event caused havoc into the lives of the affected people. It would be difficult to cope with pain and loss and it would take time to heal the hearts of the broken souls.* **Tips on How to Prepare for an Incoming Storm/Typhoon** When there is bad weather condition—a typhoon, it is important for us to be equipped and be ready in every situation. We need to be ready beforehand for our own safety. Here are some tips that you may want to consider: Watch weather forecasts - keep posted for weather updates/advisories coming only from reputable news outlets. They give facts and accurate information about weather. Prepare emergency bags for necessities (Clothing, medicines, food, flashlights, etc.) enough to consume for few days. Make sure it is waterproof. Take note of the emergency hotlines in your locality so it will be easy for you to contact them in difficult situations. Go to safe places and secure your family. Don't stay near riverbanks or flood-prone and landslide-prone areas. Lastly and with utmost importance, pray, ask for God's guidance and protection over ourselves and the people we love.
