I just didn't sleep
A volcanic eruption is in me.
I have not slept.
Fatigue speaks from me.
People are running away.
And it's not my fault I'm tired.
I just didn't sleep.
I explain to them that I am not angry.
They are angry with me.
I tell them again that I haven't slept.
I have to be in the snow all day.
I'm pulling a sled.
The sled pulls me.
Finally a break on the bench.
The eyes close on their own.
I was awakened by another sled.
I can't sleep.
I have to watch him on the sled.
It's not just him.
There she is, too.
I watch him.
I watch her.
And only half a day has passed.
I have to endure another night.
One more day.
And another night.
I am on vacation.
And I'm not resting.
He is my son.
She is my baby.
She was up all night.
And I'm not mad at her.
I just didn't sleep.
