Of weekends and fake nails
March 26, 2022
There's no place like home and no time like the weekend. Those are two of my most favorite in life. I can't recall when was the first time I am excited about the weekend. Probably when I started to spend my time at the university or during the time I'm bombarded with impossible workloads that I just find myself anticipating for weekends eventhough the week has just started.
This morning, I don't feel like going home. Last week, I never came home too. I just wanted to stay in my room and catch up with you guys and read about all of your whereabouts. However, I know in my heart that everyone at home is waiting for me and at the end of the day, they will surely send me a message inquiring why I didn't come home.
To cut the story short, I am now at home, chilling with my siblings and niece. My niece's youtube video is very loud that I am having a hard time understanding what I have read. I ended up reading the same article for 10 minutes. Ow yes, home is fun still.
Last week, after telling myself to be more frugal and spend only on the things that I need, I accidentally viewed a facebook story of my friend selling fake nails and oh, I find them cute. I am not fond of having my nails done but during that time, I think I was mesmerized and ended up buying a set. Omyy! Impulsive buyer. I needed to unfollow every friend that I have that is selling something or else I would go broke. God forbid.
The bright side is that my roommate was also mesmerized by its beauty and she wished that the two of us would share on that set. The other side of me delightly agreed. However, when the item arrived, her mind changed so I ended up keeping the set for myself. I have never used the whole thing until today. I tried putting it on in one of the fingernails of my niece but she loved it instantly and I ended up getting her nails done by myself. I am not a pro but I did my best. Here is the result.
My mom disagree about me putting on fake nails on my niece's nails at first but then later she agreed because my niece would now have a hard time thumb-sucking. Grandma is delighted at the sight of her grandchild being so maarte and she even told my niece that she is like a witch. lol.
The fakenails didn't last long as my niece is very naughty. Shocks! I just wasted a dollar for this. I promise this will be the last time that I would buy unnecessary stuff.
Thanks for reading. Until the next read!
