Day 26: My school
June 10, 2022
Happy Friday Read-friends! It has been a wonderfully busy week for me. It wasn't entirely a happy Friday since Gio is in the hospital because he underwent an appendectomy just this morning. We didn't know it at first. We just knew when we called him to ask why he isn't at the office when he is scheduled to travel today. He has been complaining about the pain in his stomach for a while now. He would lie down on the couch in the middle of his work and just this morning, we learned that he is in the hospital. When we came to visit him, he is in the recovery room already. The doctors proceeded to have his appendix removed since it already burst. We haven't seen him yet for it hasn't been two hours since he is in the recovery room.
He is like a big brother to me. He is the only one in the office who would sweep the floor and empty the trash bin whenever he arrives early. A joker, he lifts everybody's mood and sets the tone and atmosphere of the office with his good choice of music. He is excellent at what he does too. I hope he recovers fully well very soon.
In another story, I'm on the 26th day of the 30-day challenge.
And it is about my school. First, I went to a public school both in elementary and high school. I only spent a year in a private high school. I went to a barangay daycare centre before all of that and earned my degree at a state university.
I don't have many photos of my school. The only photos that I have were from my days at the uni.
This is the view when you are about to head to the administration building via a long road or stairway. The University is located in a barangay away from the busiest part of the municipality. That is why there is a countryside vibe. Its landscape isn't that filly developed which explains the three routes you gotta choose from when you will head to the classrooms. There is the rocky road- one which is uncemented. It has a lot of rocks and only a few use that route since it would damage the shoes.
Next, is the stairway. Others call it the stairway to heaven. I don't have a photo of that but many take that route since it provides shelter from the heat of the sun. The only complaint about taking the said route is that it would make you pant and gasp for air.
Last but not least is the long road. Others don't like to take this route as it is a long road. Haha. It would take time before you get to your destination. This long road is cemented and intended for vehicles. Others also would love to take this route because of the coolness and the shade that the trees provide. It is better to take this route when you are about to go home with your classmates.
The University is known for producing graduates that later on perform well in the licensure examination. It is well respected and I can also vouch for the excellence of the teachers here. There are just instances where some visiting instructors stain the credibility of the teaching force.
The professors would push you to reach your full potential. There are just times wherein they will be busy with other matters making it impossible for them to render more time for instruction. Nonetheless, they are still excellent and they provide instruction well. And if you study hard and well, you will never go wrong.
That's about it. Thanks for reading.
Hope maging okay na c gio, same tayo ng school ko dati sis. Mahaba habang lakaran hehehe.
