The cryptocurrency space might still be speculative but it's undeniable that it is also a place for technical innovation. Time flies so fast in the crypto market that the evolution from what's present in the physical world can be found in the space by using blockchain technology.

Time after time, everything we usually do, love or use are being converted digitally. Decentralized and cashless payments, innovative internet usage using blockchains, decentralized storage and many more. But one of the greatest innovations right now in cryptocurrency is the use of NFTs with blockchain gaming.

There are innovations right now that are still making noise in the space and even though it's still in the early stage, it has gathered the attentions of million people around the world. Blockchain gaming with gaming incentives called Play-To-Earn games and exercise with your NFTs and earn from it called Move-To-Earn. These two innovations are creating hype in the space and we will discuss which one has the greater potential between them in the future.

Play-To-Earn or Move-To-Earn?

In summary, Play-To-Earn blockchain gaming is an innovative way for gamers to play the game in their mobile devices or PC while being incentivized with in-game tokens or the project's native token(s). Players need to own an NFT to play the game and this can comes with a cost. On the other hand, Move-To-Earn has almost the same concept with Play-To-Earn but with a big difference. In order to "Move-to-earn", players need to own a shoe NFT, use the application and start exercising.

And this is where a huge differences of the two occurs. It is turning out that compared to when Play-To-Earn were still building some hype in the crypto space back in 2021, Move-To-Earn concept are lacking some interest from the people. There was no hard evidence but there are few possible reasons about it;

1. People are less interested with move-to-earn since they prefer gaming over exercising for getting rewards.

2. The market has a bearish sentiment and it has affected the timing to create or build more hype for the new innovation/concept.

3. Lots of people are still hesitant about it.

4. People fears that what happened during the trend of Play-To-Earn games (honeypot, rugpulls, scam, etc.) might happen again with the use of Move-To-Earn concept.

During the first 3 months of Play-To-Earn trend, thousands of projects emerged with its concept with a good number still running while most of it eventually dies and ended as a failure. But Move-To-Earn gave a different approach for its first 3 months as there were only few projects running about it compared to Play-To-Earn projects and as of now, only STEPN has been recorded to be the successful Move-To-Earn project. There is also one big Move-To-Earn project that is currently underdevelop but already gained some great amount of attentions from the people and it was already listed in some big exchanges like Kucoin. It is being called as the next STEPN as it almost has the same ideas and there could some hidden future potential. The project is called FITFI and it's currently under $100 million market while $GMT has $800 million market cap.

Summary.

Both Play-To-Earn and Move-To-Earn concept has a great future potential but when it comes to choosing between the two, Play-To-Earn has more rooms to grow. People might be ignoring Play-To-Earn games for now and jumping a little into the Move-To-Earn's trend but it will eventually halt as more people would still prefer to stay where they are, focus more what's on the screen probably will enjoy and spend more time in gaming than doing some exercise. This doesn't mean that exercise to earn will be wiped out by Play-To-Earn games rather it will be overtaken when it comes to people using it.

I use both play2earn and move2earn and I find both have advantages. Its true there are less move2earn apps but as you said yourself its a newer trend, give it time. But where do you find this Fitfi, its not on google play store. Also, correct your english please, lots of mistakes, makes reading your articles much harder

I don't think that's quite true. I saw in STEPN and NFTs there are near $1000 each.
