Dealing with Anger

To deal with your anger you must know what type of anger that you are going through.
There are three types of anger:
1)Passive Aggression
2)Open Aggression
3)Assertive Anger
If you are angry, the best approach is Assertive Anger. Seems complicated right? Let's what each type really means.

Passive Aggression

A lot of people don't want to say that they're angry, since they don't like confrontation โ€“ it's called passive aggression. This comes out in stuff like being quiet when you're frustrated, sulking, delaying (putting things off you need to do), and pretending "everything's all right." Passive aggression is the product of a desire to be in control. Do you want to know how to deal with it? Read on about 'assertive anger.'

Open Aggression

On the other hand, many people tend to be mad, physically, or verbally aggressive and often hurt themselves or others. It's called Open Aggression. This comes out in the form of fight, verbal abuse, screaming, bickering, sarcasm, and criticism. Open aggression is the result of the need to be in control.

Assertive Anger

The healthy way to deal with anger is through being calm and confident, speaking and listening, and being open to help with the situation. This assertive anger can contribute to the growth of your relations. It means thinking before you speak, being confident, yet open and flexible to the 'other side.' It means being patient; you don't raise your voice; you share how you feel emotionally, and really try to understand what other people feel.

Forgiveness is always important; if a person has apologized for making you angry, or if you realize that the situation โ€œisnโ€™t worth itโ€, be open to forgive. And willing to be forgiven and forgive yourself! This will help you to calm down and will help your relationships with others to flourish.

Remember that you are important. Your life counts, and you can make a difference in this world.
