In Sports Competition there is always a Winner and a Loser, but the best thing that the player should have is the Sportsmanship of the game. Athletes should be disciplined and well mannered in any kind of sports does he/she belong. As a volleyball player, I always tell to myself to always be disciplined and well mannered because that is the most important attitude that a player should have. Never lose your Attitude and camaraderie in every game because that will make you a better athlete.

This week, I was invited and participated many leagues in our Barangay and Municipality. Yesterday, we represents our Barangay to compete the other barangays in the One Day League. The girls and boys was mixed but most of all players inside the court was boys. I'm a little bit disappointed to the committee and the organizers of the game because they didn't manage and handle well the league. Even though they are paid and rewarded by the Sponsors.

There are two brackets, the bracket A and B. But we are belong to the bracket A. Each bracket has 5 teams and only 10 Barangays have representative out of 20 Barangays. Since, it was a one day league theu make it only 1 set and raise to 30 in the elimination round. We are happy that in our bracket we are undefeated and our standing was 0 lose and 4 wins. All is well at first because we thought that would be waiting for the championship because we have no lose.

But, in the semis there is a cheating happened. The organizer of the team played in their barangay, he is Barangay zone 3. Barangay zone 3 was confident because their Barangay is known that they have good players also. By the incidence, we bound to comepete in the semis. Our team lost because of many wrong calls and the Barangay zone 3 also, they only put 1 girl inside the court buy the rule it must be 2 or 3 girls. We can't react because the organizer played to their team.

It really hurts to think that our 4 wins in our bracket don't have any justice because we are cheated. After all, we can't do nothing is to accept it. Sometimes we can't forced things to happen because there are people prevent it happens. Maybe, it was the will of God because that happens.

Also, it's hard for me to convert from spiker to setter. I need to adjust all my floor pattern inside the court. Even though that is the problem, I still managed to adjust but we're so close to victory.

Ending Thoughts

Sometimes, what we expect to happen will not happen. But the Lord make it right in a right way. There is always a reason for everything and we must stick to the promise of the Lord. I know that lossing is not the end point of the game but it serves as a lesson for us to think that we must train hard and keep harder to improve more. There is always a room for improvement.

Better to do our best in next game because there are so many leagues approaching. Used all the learnings and apply it to game. We make a revenge in a way that is good and clean. Revenge that is permitted by God to happen.

To those person who doubt your skills, Don't depend in their thoughts, because their thoughts doesn't matter. Your mindset does, so make the right decision. Be confident and have faith in your skills that you can conquer all of those trials that you have.
