God's Protective Hands.

A man had a flight scedule early in the morning. He managed to land on a job opportunity abroad. At last, his dreams ar about to materialize, and so he thought.

He called a cab, loaded his bag and sat at the back seat of the car. Excitement filled him as he day-dreamed of the success waving infront of him. He was smiling all through out the ride until a motorcycle hit the side of the car where he was seated. The impact made him lose his consciousness in an instant. Blood dripped down from his fractured arm as he was rushed to the hospital.

He missed his flight.

The chance he has long been waiting for blurred into thin air. Discouragement filled his heart as he tried to reach for his phone at the tabletop beside his hospital bed. He has to break the bad news to his mom. Before he can even dial her number, his phone rang.

"Hello, Mom..." he answered, his voice cracked.

"Thank God, my son!" His mom cried hysterically.

He was confused. Did the authorities who called his mom tell her he was in critical state for his mom to cry like this?

"I'm okay, i only had a minor injury. They must've mistaken..."

"Your flight!" His mom bawled, cutting in what he is about to say.

"The plane crashed just now, all passangers and crew died. Thank God you had an accident!"

He was speechless for awhile. Few minutes ago, he questioned God for allowing that accident to happen, for letting his dreams crumble in just a blink of an eye. As he put the phone down and tears rolled down his eyes, he uttered, "Thank You Lord."

Oftentimes, the darkness we experience does not mean we are being abandoned by God but that we are being covered by His protective hands.

Sometimes, the bad things that happen to us are allowed by our Father so that we may be saved from greater evil.

And everytime the hardest trials are placed along our journey, we are offered a glorious opportunity to become better persons.

I hope that we do not only thank God in our victories but also in our defeats for even in the face of adversity, His grace is sufficient.

Most times unpleasant situation occur, it's really a blessing in disguise and God has a reason for doing that. That's why we should thank God in any situation we find ourselves. Your story tells it all.

Amen to that. I always believed in God's protective hands. Somemetimes He has to close and lock some doors so we won't be able to enter it coz it won't be good for us. We will not achieved what we want coz it's not His plan for us.
