Banana is an energy booster having only 90 calorie per piece per 100 grams, it contains 0.3 gm total fat, zero cholesterol, 1 mg salt, about 360 mg potassium, 2.6 gm dietary fiber, 12 gm sugar and 1.1 gm protein.

Banana have both soluble and insoluble fiber. Ever wonder why when you eat one banana you’re full for a long period of time. Well, that is because soluble fiber slows down the digestion which makes you full for a long time. It makes banana a healthy food to start your day.

Pity you do not mention the vitamin B in banana at the start! This is one of the best things about it.

Also pity is banana makes you fat. The amount of carbohydrates is high.

They should also be consumed in limited quantity. I have seen people who get fat by over eating bananas! :) Not like other fruits like oranges, apples etc that way.
