What a Long Last Day of October!
It's the first day of November! Woah! Just one more month and we will be bidding bye-bye to 2022! Time is so fast we will all grow old fast too! Teehee!
Anyway, our last day in October ended with a bang. Thanks to our government for making that day a holiday, we were able to make something out of it!
Actually, everything was impromptu. At five in the morning, my husband woke up and went out to catch the sunrise, we miss it, especially since it has been raining the past few days since we arrived in Oslob. So he went out while the baby and I were still sleeping. By the time we woke up, Matti and I went out to walk around with the sun shining brightly, my sister-in-law invited us to go to the beach.
As Matti was being dressed up, my sister-in-law came back and said the beach was rough so we have to cancel that, my husband arrived with some Malunggay pandesal and then suddenly thought why not visit Tumalog waterfalls instead?
Everyone agreed so after breakfast, the entire family drove to the waterfalls. I am glad that my brother-in-law has a pickup car to accommodate all of us. We reached the waterfalls and Matti was really happy! He didn't want to stop jumping, throwing rocks and pebbles, and even if it was cold, his lips were already getting dark, he cried when I said it was enough.
It was almost lunchtime and we have to think about where to eat, the in-laws went to Noblesse Resort last Father's Day so they thought it would be nice to go there instead. We all agreed and although the food took a long to arrive, we still enjoyed lunch together. Matti was sleeping the entire time! He woke up as we were almost done with lunch.
After that, we headed home. It was already very hot, I thought a Halo-halo is a good idea but then when we passed by the Halo-halo store, there was no available parking space and it was very hot so we decided to buy in the afternoon instead.
I washed our clothes, it took me an hour to do it and Matti didn't want to sleep anymore! He was just playing with his cousin. It was already four in the afternoon when I finished washing our clothes.
We then went to Cuartel, we passed by the cemetery and there were so many people around. Cuartel got a huge Bermuda grass space and so the kids enjoyed running around, several times, Matti and Zia stumbled down but they were both safe. There were many kids too and we saw a Balloon vendor, Matti and Zia asked for their balloons but we didn't buy one because the vendor overpriced them. Back in August, a piece of balloon costs only Php 80, now it has ballooned to Php 120! We don't support overpricing vendors so we didn't buy one.
Thankfully, the kids didn't ask for it anymore and just played. We were there up until almost seven in the evening when Matti asked for food. We bought dinner, some tuna, and pork sisig, then batchoy as well as french fries. The brother-in-law bought some graham shakes too which was really good!
My husband and I were both tired and wanted to sleep early but for some reason, Matti was not in the mood to sleep yet, he cries if I would go to bed so we stayed up until almost 11 in the evening! It was tough keeping my eyes open but I have no choice!
That's it! How did you end your October guys?
