My August Recap : Only 1 Goal Achieved?

My personal and work life in August is like a roller coaster ride. There are so many challenges. It was supposedly a midyear break for us but it seems that I did not feel it because of the many events at school, the remote work from home, the enrolment issues and of course, the Covid-19 case in the family. Yet, I am thankful that the Lord gave me strength to surpass these trials and busy schedules and I am able to write my August Recap here in read.

Writing Monthly Reports - My Motivation

I am always looking forward to create my month report in this platform. I am happy to see my progress and also I am motivated to work more for my goal. Also, it becomes a baseline of what should I improve. So let's take a look back on the goals I set for August.

Now, let's check if I achieve my goals.

Goal No. 1. For my first goal, I only had 12 articles written. I also noted of my top 5 articles and earnings of $77.65 for all articles. We cannot really foresee the things that will happen for a certain month, I only 60% of my goal, still I am happy, that I was able to write despite the unpredicted uncertainties.

Goal No. 2 . All comments in all of my 12 articles are upvoted. This is my way of expressing thanks for the support and time given for always reading my stories and articles. So for this goal, it's an achievement.

Goal No.3. Because of the uncertainties this month, the 5 articles per day is not achieved as well. I can barely have time to comment and read others articles this time.

Goal No. 4. I think I have added only 2 sponsorships for this month. So I can't really really mark this as achieved. Nevertheless, I still have the existing ones. I hope next month, I will give more on this area.

Goal no. 5. This goal as well is not achieved completely. I did not participate writing prompts and challenges. But, I created one challenge the When I became a Mom : Challenge for Moms.

I would like to thank all the moms who participated in this challenge. Motherhood is really a gift and a blessing.

Goal No. 6. For this goal, I have not achieved this as well, since I have only got small earnings for both platforms. I will give the details on the next section.

So for my 6 goals. I can only say that I achieved only 1 completely out of the 6 . Yet, I am not sad, because I know that this is not because of negligence but because of the unpredicted circumstances.

BCH Earnings for August

For the month of August I manage to earn .15324071 BCH, in fiat, it is at least $96.00 for the $630.00 price. We know already that we are affected by the new algorithm for rewards in this platform. As what Jane has observed first and I also observed by my own, there is a new scheme of rewards from Rusty. And, for the first time, I tried trading using Coins.ph, I tried selling .2 BCH when the price is high and buy .21250959 BCH for the same fiat amount when its price is low. So I gained at least .01250959. Maybe I will try other platforms for trading and other ways of earning next time, I really hope I can really have more time on learning these things.

1BCH UPDATE

For my 1BCH update, here's the update. I just added a very little amount. From the .37819932 BCH last month of July, it is now .41808554 BCH. As much as I wanted to save more, our needs was really demanding last time due to the added expenses during our quarantine. We need to deliver food to the hospital and isolation facility and there are medicines that are bought outside the hospital which is not covered by Philhealth. Though, I was not able to save much but I am thankful that there is a help when I need it most for our expenses. At least, I have not spent my hodlings for this time.

So that's all for now, I will not set any goal for September, I will just see what I can do. I know this month will be another hectic schedule for me. But I will try my best to be here when time and situation permits.
