Everytime I feel demotivated.

Not everytime I feel okay.

Not everytime I can do what I set to do.

Not everytime I can be as productive as I can be.

Not everytime I am motivated.

And it's okay.

It's okay to take a break and rest. We all need that. We deserve all the rest and breaks the world has.

What's not okay?

It is not bouncing back and choosing to stop. However, we human has the capacity to decide whether to keep going or just stop. But me personally will always take breaks and make sure to keep going right after. And for me, that is the best choice to have.

These days, there are really times that I feel like I am doing the right thing? Is this the path I should be taking? Is there something good that waits for me ahead? And it makes me sick. Like because of these questions, it made me feel demotivated. Like I do not want to do a thing. I just wanted to lie in bed and do nothing. I am lying in bed but can't sleep because I am overthinking. Overthinking of what future holds. And there, I cannot do a thing.

And because of those reasons I tried to browse the internet because I wanted to read and see some motivational qoutes, I passed on this one from an unknown author that says, "Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, just remember how far you have come. Remember everything you have faced, all the battles you have won, and all the fears you have overcome." And it hit me. Hard.

I just realized I am battling these battles alone for years now, and how can I just stop just because I feel not doing it? That's so stupid of me.

I think of it again. I think of the reasons why I am here right now. Reasons why I am still doing the thing I used to love. And reasons why I need to continue.

And with that, I got to have few things that I do everytime I feel demotivated.

1. Think about why I ever started.

Yes. I tried my best to think why I ever started, and that is because I know there is an ending. A good one. A goal I need to achieve. A dream that I need to turn into reality. Not everyone has the chance to be given the chance I have right now. Not everyone is lucky enough to have the things I have. So who I am to complain and get demotivated? With that, I make sure to look back on the reasons why I even started.

2. Think about the people depending on me

My mom and my brother. They are one of the reasons that I need to be motivated everyday as much as I can. They are depending on me and they believe that I can do it. I feel like I am their armour and I need to live with it. I have a dream for them as what I mentioned in my previous article that I need to turn into reality.

3. Think about my future

I mentioned as well that sometimes we need not to overthink what future holds because we do not know what will happen. But in another way, it is important as well to have a plan for the future. Because that will be the urge that will continue to keep you getting motivated. And that for you to keep going. I have a lot in mind that I wanted to have and to become. And I need to feel motivated to reach those soonest.

4. Think about what will happen if I keep on getting demotivated

I do not want to starve. And I do not want to starve the people that depends on me. I already got to experiencing starving because we really got nothing. Not a single penny to atleast buy the cheapest food. That was hard. It was scary. It made me cringe everytime I think of it. And I do not want it to happen again. Never.

5. Think about how God open opportunities

Sometimes. Always. Sometimes, I happen to forget that God is the only reason why I am still living until now. I sometimes forget that He is the one who opened a lot of doors of opportunity for me. He is the only one that gives me strenght, and often times I forget it. But realization always exists. I always make sure to look back and be thankful to all the blessings, opportunities, and strenght He gave, give, and will give. I always asked for signs that I need to keep going. He plays a huge part of what I have rigth now. And I am thankful for that.

With these reasons and ways that I do everytime I am demotivated, it actually do not work snd effect right away. It takes a lot of courage and determination thinking about these. It takes a lot of time to start doing these all. And it is fine. Everything takes time, we just have to work for it and once it will take effect, keep going. It is always okay to fall as it is part of how we are molded, but always make sure to bounce back as it is how we become stronger.

My ways on how I overcome demotivation in life may work for others and may not for some. But I hope, it leaves a lesson somehow. You can drop a comment snd suggestion on other things that I can do atleast lessen myself on becoming demotivated again.

Awww. I love this! I feel like I am reading my own story. We have overcome a lot of problems, challenges, hurdles and struggles and we can overcome whatever it os that will come our way. I admit I was been unproductive the past few weeks and I am changing that now. I need to get back on track. Yes, it is ok to take a break. We need that time to regain our strength and to be motivated again. Push. We can do it. πŸ˜‰

Everyone feels the same way too, being demotivated is only ourselves is the enemy. what we do and what we achieveved is depends on how we react and performs in everydays life. But the important is we have still courage to motivate us to continue this happy and gracious life..

Yes that is true. We still have to be grateful enough that even we felt demotivated, because of the important things that we consider we choose to continue and keep going. And taking breaks is important. Just make sure not to stop.

True, Sometimes it hard to do same thing daily. Then we realize about our future and think about why we started it? This keeps us motivated. I use to read the book entitled "Rich Dad Poor Dad" which keeps me motivated.
