A Weary Investment Before i gave birth to my 2nd daughter last November 2018, I bought a laptop for work. At that time I was just borrowing from my brother. His' is Acer. As I was looking for a brand to buy, one typical style and brand caught up my attention. It was of the color of GOLD (Asus ). Struggling with many inhibitions I came home with my style. 2 years passed, my laptop is giving me a headache already. The keyboard does not function well. It is already charger dependent. I thought such valued things are worth of an investment. I was blinded by its beauty rather than the quality. This things depreciates quickly that the value for your money goes down unknowingly. Be Aware: A Text Scam A while ago someone sent me this text message from a cellphone number having a country code from the Philippines. **Hi, please contact me through my email, i have a very urgent message for you: (***************94@gmail.com)** And instinctively I know I should not give in for I remember this instance from a year back the very same scenario. As I message a certain email address, someone responded and asking me a hand. According to him he is a representative of a certain person who is currently in the Philippines but as to him he don't know exactly what happened to that person or where is his exact location. He has an immense amount of money. He wants to wire that money to me and help him look for the man so that I can relay the money to him and as I will be paid for my generosity. Fortunately Im a fan of detective Conan. My brain started to think of the interrogative words: **the Who, What, When, Where and including How.** As I recall I used to sign up in any forms of free this and that and of course I have to write in my profile. Then maybe this is how they were able to get my personal number. I was so overwhelmed of the un ordinary situation during that time and I cant think properly because of nervousness. I know for a fact that I did not participate with the scheme.99.9% of it that it is conning or maybe an organized crime. I did email the address and they responded. But never the less nothing dissatisfactory happened. Did someone scam you like this in anyway? Or was I am just over thinking and overly reacting. Our brains become captives of the idiot box and do not think anything beyond that. It also gives rise to obesity as we continue to sit in a place for long hours and do nothing. The precious time that can be spent indulging in your hobbies or doing something productive such as reading a book, going for a walk, meeting a friend, writing a blog, drawing etc. is wasted on watching useless stuff. When we become addicted to television, our lives begin to revolve around TV schedule. **Procastionation** which means to intentionally and habitually delay or put off doing something till a later time. Doing things last minute can cause you a lot of stress because it often causes you to cram at the last minute.  Stress affects your ability to think properly, remember things, process new information or be creative and critical. **Saying yes** to everything at work because you don’t know any better.  **Perfectionism** is unhealthy and a waste of Time.  “Perfectionism is neurotic and a terrible waste of time.” It is not possible to do something perfectly (it could always be improved on a bit), but it is very stressful to constantly strive to be perfect. Striving for excellence by doing the best you can with the time and energy you have, is realistic and healthy according to **Eileen Pease.** **Worrying** accomplishes absolutely nothing. It won't help you solve a problem or bring about a possible solution, so why waste your time and energy on it? When you **multitask** you became less productive and effective. It sabotage your ability to do good work. You squelch your creative juices. Using time and brainpower to constantly switch back and forth between two tasks doesn’t allow one thought to lead to another because key thoughts and creativity come from links between memories. I personally thought that multitasking is great. As woman I am proud that I can polish my nails, babysit and at the same time talk to someone while the tv is on. But as an employee it doesn't give the best for me. Because I always says yes to the tasks given I became skilled at various crafts.
