Blogging is of course an excellent way to make extra income, the best thing about blogging is you do not have to be very active on your blog. However, a lot of people do not succeed with blogs because they do it wrongly. You write well does not mean you will succeed with your blog. You also need knowledge and skill in SEO and digital marketing. If you don't do SEO, you will not get ranked, when your blog is not ranked on google you don't get organic traffic

If you want to get started with blogging, you need three things, one, a great writing skill, two, SEO skills, three marketing skills. I not only bought a domain and hosting but also hired a writer to develop blog content and hired a marketer to market my content. After spending just about $500, my blog started generating income. In the beginning, the income was very small just around 20-30 cents per day, but it gradually improved and these days I am making $3 per day on average.

Getting Visitors on Your Blog in 2022

In order to attract unique visitors from social media, you will have to target your promotional campaign to the people who are your potential client. For instance, if your blog is about parenting, you need to target your blog to married couples with kids. If you promote your parenting blog to unmarried couples and teens, you will never receive traffic. The key to building targeted traffic is to promote your blog to the people who are likely to read your articles. Furthermore, you also need to build a huge following on your page, not just 1000 or 2000 but 10,000-20,000 at least.

Do not look for traffic from other sources apart from Google and popular social sites like facebook, twitter, linkedin or pinterest. You need traffic on your blog, but you also need the traffic that converts. It does not matter how many people visited your blog, what matters is now many people are interacting with your ads. You will earn only when there is an engagement on your ads.

Blogging was lucrative yesterday, blogging is lucrative today, and blogging will continue to be beneficial tomorrow. However, competition is getting fiercer day by day, and earning from blogging is getting harder day by day.
