The thief trapped in the fake chimney

When I think of chimneys, I imagine a thief who was planning a big robbery, which would be the robbery of the month for him. This thief was a white-skinned man who used to dress in a black-colored hat and warm clothes. He was around 40 years old and had found a house that offered all the opportunities to be robbed, with many well-kept properties and located on the outskirts of the city. He had been watching it for a long time, trying to take note of all the key points to find the perfect way to get in.

So, after a long time of planning, he approached the house and realized that there was a window at the back that was open. Without further ado, he decided to slip through this window. He began to search for the valuable things in the house, first a silver candelabrum that rested under a large gothic-style mirror. He took it and put it in his bag. What he didn't know was that there were people in the house. Upstairs, there were noises, noises of people who had detected the presence of someone who was on the ground floor of the house.

So our thief immediately fled to a chimney that was there in the living room. The chimney was a typical chimney, with a stone embedding. But our protagonist had never expected that this chimney had no exit. It was just a fake chimney, a decorative one. It was something that those who had ordered this house to be built had put there just as decoration.

So our thief, not knowing this, tried to climb up the chimney. But our friend was overweight and got stuck there. There was no room to get out. Desperation began to invade him. He had a panic attack and began to breathe rapidly. Obviously, the concern that they would find him there made his heart beat very fast. He didn't want to make noise, he didn't want to draw attention. But in his desperation, he began to shout for help. In fact, he couldn't contain the urge to go to the bathroom and out of fear, he wet himself.

Finally, after many hours trapped there, the homeowners realized that they had this particular visitor trapped in the chimney. They called the police and, of course, the police came and, with the help of the firefighters, took out the thief who had been trapped in the chimney.

Since that event, the homeowners now check the chimney with some frequency and have thought about canceling the entrance so that this episode does not happen again. But they decided to leave it open, and since then, our prisoner in jail cannot stop having nightmares in which the chimney is the protagonist.
