Comparsas, colored lights, the joy of the trumpets when the band played a tasty sauce, and the beads of sweat that ran down their golden skins as they marked the steps on the platform. You should not always take what is writen as "literally", because in this case, I use symbols as a resource to demonstrate the ambiguity of a man who wants to be a woman and thinks he is pregnant ... carrying within himself his 5th child, who can be anything from a creature to an idea.

In this writing "the Cuban" reflects the reality of a man who feels like a woman, trapped within a society that condemns this type of sexual preferences.

In short: she is actually a "he"...
