The streets of the Chinese district, a quite singular and quite eccentric place because you can get any amount of things. The atmosphere to imagine it was full of shops: some occupied the first floor of a building that looked quite abandoned and dirty; others had hundreds of screens with Chinese symbols in gold on red background, and piles of incense, golden cats that greet with their hand, Buddha figures and different objects. There were shops that sold watches, flowers, dried exotic fish and other quite strange things.

I was walking around these streets looking for something curious to take home as a souvenir. I stumbled across a store called Taosi

which in Chinese means curiosity. I entered the narrow little door of the store that took me up some equally narrow stairs, papered with a tapestry of Chinese dragons in a green background with golden symbols.

At the back of the store, behind the staircase, there was a counter, you couldn't pass through to the inside; behind the counter was an old Chinese man with long beards and accessories that tied them up like threads. The gentleman had a Chinese red hat, a pair of glasses in the shape of a fairly large and thick circle.

Behind him was the whole store with different quite strange objects. There was a box that looked empty and inside it there was what looked like a needle with a golden tip that shone and emitted a quite strange light. There was also what looked like a bird of paradise that was perched on a pedestal, as we are used to seeing parrots in our countries.

This bird was attended. There was also what looked like a yellow cloud with wings that fluttered around the whole store. A quite curious thing.

Without a doubt, this kind of thing that floated, this floating cloud, caught my attention and I asked the man what it was about. He told me that it was something millennial that could only be shown or made visible to the right person, and that this was the first time in more than 50 years that someone other than him could see it and that this being had definitely chosen me to be in my house.

He explained to me that his name was wang feng, which in Chinese means light breeze. It is an object that is said to become invisible when it is playing and is only visible to the person he chooses.

So, I definitely decided to acquire this kind of pet that I called Feng, because since he told me that his name is wang feng, which is light breeze in Chinese, I decided to call him Feng. So I didn't need a leash or anything because the man explained to me that this being would always be with me, so he followed me.

I walked calmly down the street with my new pet Feng flying; he had the shape of a cloud with wings, quite curious in reality. I went to my house and came back through all the sciences that were very funny on the airplane ride and nobody noticed that this pet was with me; it was quite surprising.

At home this strange or mystical animal liked to have fun hiding so I could play with him and I had my activities, so I went to work and left him alone at home. Feng decided to become invisible and started exploring the whole house; he had the ability to, despite being ethereal, touch and push things.

He started making several disasters, toppling several figures he had on a shelf, he took out several books he had in the library and did other things. When my son came home from school, he opened the door and Feng sneaked out the door. He thought this was a game the child, my son, was playing and so he decided to go out the door to hide.

Time passed and I came home from work to find that Feng was gone. My son's explanation of what had happened was that, well, I went out with my wife and son to start looking for Feng everywhere. I couldn't tell anyone else because this was a unique and very curious creature and if the rest of the people or humanity found out they would probably make a big fuss about it, showing it as a great curiosity or as a strange thing, and I couldn't allow that.

So we started looking for Feng around the neighborhood, yelling his name.

It was already around 8 pm and the neighbors were wondering who we were looking for because they knew we didn't have a pet. Despite the questions, we managed to find Feng who was sleeping in an alley at the feet of an old dog; he seemed to like dogs. So, fortunately, after our intense two-hour search throughout the neighborhood, we found our exotic pet.

This is my story for today, and it shows that the unity and help of the whole family allows us to overcome these challenges, which are so difficult and complicated. What matters is the love that remains: the love for a pet can unite an entire family and all people.

This is my story for today; I hope you enjoyed it.
