Ghost Hunters
Alan and Brito were walking calmly down the street. They were the young people of the neighborhood, barely 22 years old. They were talking calmly and Alan says: "Hey, do you know that Ernesto's house is said to be haunted? The house that is full of cats everywhere and that is at the end of the alley. Yes, that one. It is said that figures or shadows of people have been seen passing or walking through the windows at night and a noise is heard. What do you think if we venture to visit her?"
Brito thought for a few moments and came to the conclusion that this could be fun. It could be a good idea. Alan told him: "Okay, let's do it. Let's get to work." They walked steadily toward the house at the end of the street. All the cats, when they saw that they were getting closer, decided to run away. They were not used to the presence of humans.
Alan and Brito were already all over the front of this old abandoned house, with Gothic-style windows and a rose that is stuck to the door in the form of a bronze sculpture carved quite old and blackened by the passing of the years, which it made him look pretty scary. They, very carefully, managed to force the lock on the door.
Upon entering, the first thing they saw was a huge room with a very small table in the middle and on the table there was the same rose that was at the entrance to the door, from the door knocker, but withered and black, quite dismal. On both sides of this little table, there was a huge U-shaped staircase that joined a central door at the top. The upper door had the figure, as if topping at the top, as of an Indian of one origin. The face of an Indian with his mouth open, it seemed more like this Indian was screaming.
And when they were looking around, they noticed that the curtains started to move and it started to rise up like a tide of dust all around. And suddenly, just a slam. The door had automatically closed itself. The door through which they had entered.
Down the stairs, they saw a red ball that began to roll. It began to roll right down to their feet and they heard a child's voice in the background saying: "Do you want to play with me?" And the music of a ballerina, one of those little music boxes that have a ballerina, began to play. The house was definitely haunted. Alan yelled at him, "Let's get out of here!"
When he said this, a terrible scary scream was heard and the whole house began to shake. The moans of several fighting cats were heard, as if competing with each other, and immediately, Alan and Brito shot out the door. They opened as soon as possible and the conversation between them was heard: "I will never enter this house again. Never," Brito told him. "This house really is haunted. It was a bad idea to decide to go visit it."
And this has been my five-minute writing for today, inspired by the theme of "let's visit." I hope you enjoyed it.
