Food . . .
Shelter . . .
Clothes . . .
. . are the words you can hear from us. The victims of super typhoon "odette".
The beautiful houses built was destroyed because of the strong wind that carries the roof. It was so painful to see people who are struggling right now, even the coconut which is the source of income was also destroyed.
In the morning after the typhoon, it's so sad to see the super missy sorroundings. Our baranggay captain brought the chain saw with his companion, they were helping for the clearing of the ways, to avoid danger.
The coconut was cut by the chain saw. Any kind of trees falling on the ground, they cut it.
In our house, it was also destroyed by the super typhoon because the coconut tree was placed in our roof, the cause that it has a hole and the rainfall got inside our house. That was the reason also that inside our house was very wet during the heavy rain of typhoon.
That is our house, there is only little coconut trees left. Other coconut which is still standing but the fruit was falling and I guess that coconut trees will die after how many months if the rain will not come back.
Inside our house was very messy and some of our things were very wet, we need to put it outside to get dry.
My mother, she is cleaning and wipe the wet part of our things inside our house. We are also praying that there will be no rain because our roof has a hole and if it rains, it will be going inside and become wet again.
In my sister's house was not destroyed by the super heavy wind because I think their house is strong and no trees can harm. That is why we evacuate there during the typhoon.
In my grandmother's house, the coconut tree was falling also in her house in the kitchen area.
Thankful that it was not really destroyed, the tree was just lean on the roof.
In our C.R. , it was very destroyed and broken.
The coconut tree was falling on it, that is why until now we have no C.R.
We are also thankful that our pig was not falling by the coconut tree, we just put our pig in the side of our house.
It's so pity to see this pig, I can't imagine how this pig survive despite of the very strong wind. I am very thankful for our pig.
Realizations in life:
No matter how expensive our things are, no matter how beautiful our houses are, no matter how clean our clothes we cannot control the typhoon which can destroy us. All we have to do is pray that God will cover and become shield of how strong is the wind. No matter what happens right after the typhoon "odette", one word we can able to speak, that is "Laban" a filipino term which means "fight" in english. That means that those, we must fight all the battles we are in, no one will give up. Always have faith that everything will be fine. 🙏😇
I am so sorry I can't able to attach pictures because of very slow internet connection in our place. Maybe soon I will edit this article and put pictures if the internet connection becomes stronger.
Before I publish this article, I just want to extend my thanks to the new added sponsor @Lucifer01 . May God bless you always for being so kind. 🥰
Thank you everyone, and God bless us all. 🙏
Tama. Mapamahal o mura eh matitibag at matitibag talaga. Kasi may gustong ipatuto si God doon sa atin.
