Practicing Proper Hygiene
Whether you are physically active or not, it is a fact that practicing good hygiene is of great importance. Doing it does not only keep our body clean and fresh but also decreases the chance of developing illnesses or infections and getting rid of unwanted body odor.
A person's health is strongly connected to his or her hygiene. Everyone should be aware of this fact. Where a healthy lifestyle is linked to a high quality of personal cleanliness, bad quality of personal hygiene may lead to an unfavorable lifestyle. Thus, it is a key to having good health.
It is also crucial to practice good hygiene to avoid transmitting the infection to anyone else. Making contact with others, with unseen germs by our naked eye on your hands, and coming into contact with tainted surfaces or other things that most of the time are the favorite ground of germs and other bacterias. We can keep these bacteria out of our bodies by taking a bath regularly and cleansing our hands with a mild soap.
Speaking of soap, I am using the white variant of safeguard and it has always been the brand of soap that my whole family uses. But a friend of mine told something about Cinthol soap and based on his experience, it is a good soap so I ordered one in Lazada today. Hopefully, my skin will like it. By the way, that soap is said to be whitening too. That is not my reason though for ordering the soap. My main purpose is to fade the blemishes and various marks in my body as a result of body acne and mosquito bites.
The next product we should use is shampoo, but if your hair is really dry, do not use it every day. Every other day is already good. Preventing dry and brittle hair is really essential. Shampooing your hair every two or three days is preferable. Your hair will thank you if you wash it two or three times a week and would say otherwise if it is done too much. To keep your hair strong and healthy, it's a good idea to use chemical-free hair care products as much as possible. If you have dandruff, use head & shoulders, and in fact, this is the one I am using.
One should not also forget to brush his or her teeth. The advised number of times is three times a day, but admit it, sometimes there are people who forget brush their teeth especially when we are lazy. But take note that the more that you skip from brushing your teeth, the more that encourages the growth of plaque or to make it simpler, the occurrence or build-up of bacteria. The brand of toothpaste I am using is Colgate and it is very affordable.
To keep our face hygienic too, wash it twice a day. Do not overdo it because it is bad for our face, especially if you have sensitive skin. I am not a dermatologist but I suggest just using a mild soap or much better, a mild cleanser. One of my favorite and trusted brand is Cetaphil and it is really gentle to the skin and always keep it hydrated. If you want a budget-friendly cleanser, go for a Simple face wash. It is okay to use soap such as dove and other mild soap, but do not directly rub it to your face.
Overall, hygiene is of great importance. It guides and leads us to a healthy lifestyle. So, do not be lazy, and if you haven't brushed yet your teeth, I suggest that you should go now and brush them. Afterward, look at the mirror and show your greatest smile and if you have a skincare routine, proceed with it.
