Consuka - Hair DIY and Instant Rebond
These past few days, I noticed my hair gets **dry and frizzy**.
I am using **conditioner** as always and not being regular at **shampoos**. Even though I am fond of using conditioners, it **can't** make my hair looks so healthy and soft. It still appears **dehydrated**. 😳
Well, maybe because of the **hair color**. It **damages** my hair and **didn't recover** from it yet. So what I did is **research** on YouTube what to do with my hair, **get advice** on how to take care of it... And **watch** some trendy YouTube videos that can help my hair heal from the dryness and frizziness.
Now I found one interesting suggestion which is the **Consuka**. I'm not familiar with this one but a lot of the vlogger says that it's trendy on YouTube and also in Facebook. So they tried it, give reviews, and say it's good.
So, here I am... Tried it too... Wishing it's the answer to my dry hair. 😅
Now I wanna share with you what's **Consuka**, and what's the **process** of doing it.
**Let's start!**
**Consuka** means **Conditioner + Suka** (Vinegar).
It's the **combination** of the two. They said putting it in your hair can make an **instant rebond**. Straight hair, smooth, and soft.
Isn't it's interesting? With just conditioner and vinegar, you will have a **rebonded hair**. That's so practical. You'll not pay **$30** to the parlor just to have beautiful hair. You can do it alone. Just apply it to your hair, take a bath... Then dry it... instant rebond. 💁🏽♀️
**Now, let's discuss how to do it.**
💥 First, you'll gonna need **vinegar and conditioner** (any brand will do). Get a **bowl** to use for mixing. Put everything there and blend.
On my part, I use **Cream silk** as a **conditioner** (3 sachets), **Datuputi** as **suka**, or **vinegar** (4 tablespoons). Other uses **apple cider vinegar**... It's also good especially for those who have **black hair**. But for **blonde hair**, I recommend using **white vinegar** coz it maintains the color, while the apple cider can make your hair dark.
💥 Next, when everything was blended, put it in your hair, I recommend **sectioning** your hair first just to make sure the **distribution is fair**. I put mine and here's what it looks like...
💥 After that, get a **shower cap** or **plastic bag**. You need to **wrap** your hair with it for **30 minutes**.
Set a timer, play with your dog, watch a video on Tiktok, then take a bath. 😅
💥 After that, dry it... And here's the **result**:
Honestly, I didn't find it amazing. Lol. It **doesn't change** my hair. It's **still dry** and **frizzy**. It also **didn't straighten** my hair as it was supposed to be. Maybe a **little shiny** compared to before. But it's okay. I just tried it once. Others say it's **not instantly effective**, you need to **repeat it** at least 2 weeks to 4 weeks before you see the actual result. So yeah. Maybe, my hair was so damaged that it needs a lot of repairs. 😅
So that's it for today. I want you to **try this too**... And I want to know if it has a good result on your hair.
`Tips for dry hair:`
`Vinegar can be used for rinsing, it can make your scalp healthy without dandruff.`
`Avoid too much water exposure. It can make your hair dry. If you can, try to wash your hair every other day, or skip at least 2 days before washing it again. 😅 It can release instant oil that your hair needs.`
`Use shampoo that has a moisturizer.`
`Avoid too much sun exposure. The UV rays can make your hair dry. Try to use a cap or hairbrella.`
`Use a piece of cotton cloth instead of a towel for drying your hair after a bath.`
`Avoid using chemicals and heat on your hair especially the hair coloring and the hair iron.`

It's Friday, Baby!
Woke up today with a hot wind coming from the fan. It's already **7:00 am** when I saw the clock beside my bed. I was struggling to open my eyes as they closed naturally without the effort of doing so. ***"I want to go back to bed, more sleep"***, said my mind. Nooo!!! I have to go to work. I need to get up, prepare the laptop... Sign in, say good morning to the leaders and co-workers with a coffee emoji, and start working.
This is my **5 working days routine**. I was a **working from home** employee. I don't have any problem commuting, encountering the traffic, facing different people outside with the possibility of getting the Coronavirus.
This is so comfortable on my part. I was getting money by just sitting and facing my laptop.
I already spend 1 year on my recent company, and I can say that it's habitable.
I can say ***"brb"*** anytime and logged out. We're just **freelancers** by the way. So, I think they don't put a lot of pressure on us.
After 2 hours of working, I prepare our breakfast. I type ***"brb"*** and send.
First, I get some onion, slice it. Then beat 2 eggs, put a little volume of seasonings. I turn on the stove, put the pan, leave some oil, onion, then the egg. Next, I get one tomato... Slice it circular, get cucumber, slice it round with just 5 thin pieces.
I prepare the bread, put it on a plate.... 4 pairs of slices, then arrange the ingredients.
Chadaaan... This is the outcome. I put mayonnaise and ketchup for the final touch.
It tastes delicious and on the other hand, a healthy breakfast, based on other viewpoints.
After eating that with a hot coffee, I go back to work and finish it until **11:00 am**. I have a broken shift so 4 hours in the morning and another 4 hours in the evening.
After work, I use to cook lunch. And because my Dad brought some chayote and carrots last night, I decided to cook it today.
The ingredients are ready... So, I heat the pan, put in some oil, then leave everything in order. Yummy! Just finished it in a few minutes. And here's the result:
It tastes well because of the **oyster sauce**. I recommend you to use oyster sauce every time you don't have any meat for vegetables. It will make your dish taste just like what restaurants offer. 😅
So yeah, that's our lunch for today with matching milo with milk as our drink.
Time flies so fast, it's time for our training. **2:00 pm** was my schedule for it, so I logged in to Skype... Chat with my mentor and prepare for the share screening. Not until the electric fan stopped and no wifi at all. Oh, noh... It's **brownout**. We're going to start but this electricity just interrupts again. It's the **2nd brownout** this day. A lot of people in our province got annoyed by this kind of service. They even post some threats on social media that they will ask for help on one of the popular television show hosts to intervene on the problem of frequent blackouts.
There's some notice posted on their FB page beforehand, but today there's **no post** regarding the brownout. That's why working online is a bit problem if power interruption is the case. We cannot gain enough money if electricity does not come back immediately. Sad to say that even students who are now in an online class are also affected. But yeah, we don't have anything to do with this but to say sorry to our boss and leaders.
But you know what, honestly, having a brownout is the only thing that makes my day **productive**. Why? I'm not using my phone, laptop, wifi... Or anything that related to electricity. I just stopped instantly. And then think of anything that I need to do to pass the time. And you know what? I love how I spend my time doing the things I cannot do during the electricity state.
Earlier, I change our **clothesline** because it gets rusty. I removed the old one and changed it with the new one. It's not that simple coz it's my first time doing it. Lol. Should I be proud of myself? I put 3 clotheslines upstairs and I can say it's firm enough to be used.
That's what I do and after I finished it... My husband said, ***"The electricity is back."*** So I immediately open the laptop, say sorry to my mentor... And good thing she's also busy with other trainees. So yeah, we proceed to what it's supposed to be and finished it after 30 mins.
It's been a long day with a lot of activities and unexpected events, but still, we enjoyed the rest of the day. I cooked some **champorado**... Sprinkled powdered milk at the top... I put a **spiral** shape and a **heart**, and look what happened. 🤭
It ends up with the word **"GO"**. 😂 So just like what the message said, we GO and eat. 😅
My husband and I loved to spend our afternoon on the rooftop where we can see the sunsets. And you know what... this day became extra special when we saw how beautiful the cloud formation is.
It looks like a painting every time we look up at the sky. We enjoyed the view and also the sunset. I didn't forget capturing it.
That's the end of my **Friday**, and spend my night at work again. I hope you enjoy reading my story. 😅

Husbands demand respect rather than love
If ever I have a chance to write something about **respect**, it's not for children nor teenagers. It's for **wives** out there. This **topic** is requested by @noisytoothie. She wrote something about **respect**, so here's my entry.
A lot of us know that **respect** can be **earned**. It's not easily gained or normally given. It's something that we should all **reaped**.
Why did I choose to write for wives? I can see a lot of **disrespect happening** in **every family**. One of them occurs in **children and parents**. This is quite normal, as children today **demand** their **kingdom**. They want to be a **ruler** despite **lack of experience and knowledge**. They tried to get the **crown** that's not made for them. They want to be a **king and queen** in the entire family... As if they are the older ones. They tried to talk bad about their parents as if these persons didn't do something good for them. Well, that's a sad thing happening today.
And I know as a child you did something **terrible** for **disrespecting** your parents, too. Honestly, I am **one** of them. I admit that. I'm not a **perfect child** so yeah, it just happens. My **mouth** just speaks **sharply like a knife** when my Mom tells something that I didn't like. And ends with a **punch** **on my cheeks**. Yeah, I deserve that.
How about you? Don't tell me you're too good to be true. Lol.
Anyways, I said I would discuss wives but why is it I still talk about children. 😂
Sorry about that, my mind doesn't focus on the main topic. It can easily distract. 🤭
So, as I was saying... In a family, **wives** can be the **number one best example of disrespect**. Why? As we all know the **head of the family** is the **husband**. It's **God-given authority** so we can never change that.
What is it means to be **head of a family**?
**Head in a family** means that you're the one who's in charge of **decision-making**. You're the one who's **in control** of plans and agendas. You're the one who can give the **final decision** and say yes or no even they don't agree to it.
See? That's the **power** of being a husband or father. Can a wife or children take charge of that role? No. They don't have the right to claim it.
Now, what if the wife tried to take that role? She's the one manipulating the decision-making, she's the one who's demanding the obedience of everyone, she's overpowering her husband?
Think of this **illustration**:
`A car is normally built with one steering wheel. Why? Coz it demands only one driver and other can be just a passenger. But what will happen if the passenger wants to be a driver and took the steering wheel even though someone was using it? Surely, it will cause an accident.`
Likewise, in a family... If the wife was trying to get the role of her husband it will surely end in a **broken relationship**. It will not make you happy. Coz that's **not what God designs** when we're created. He created a wife to be **under her husband**. Not over or even equal to her husband.
Here in the **Philippines**, a husband who is in control of his wife is called, ***"ander da saya"***. In the English language, you can read that as ***"under the saya"***. It means husbands are **under his woman's dress**. It implies a husband that's been **afraid** not to follow or obey his wife's demands.
I can hear that to someone who's joking about their friends when the husband seems so kind and obedient to his wife's requests. They said he's so considerate because he's under the saya. Well, it's just funny to think how a husband can easily go home in just **one call or text** from his wife. That's the power of love, I think. 🤭
But, if we see the situation... A man should not be manipulated like that. The husband needs to be respected. And the wife should be the **first good example** regarding that law.
But here's a thing, what if the wife finishes **college** while the husband just ends at **high school**? Can a wife take the role of being head? **No.** What if the wife is **smarter**? She can **decide better** than his man? Can she take the position? ***Still no.***
Can you see the point? **Man is the head and wife should be his companion.** It can't be swap or change.
Can the wife **give her opinion** despite not being head of the family? **Yes**, she can. This is a big help to a husband to make a **great decision** in the end. But, what if the wife's decision is not followed? Still, **support** your husband's decision. That's what respect demands. Because the husband already made a decision, it's either you agree to it or not, you should **support him**.
If **women** need **love**, **men** need **respect**. It is concluded at **surveys** and **interviews** on men. They said that they would choose to **feel respected over feeling loved**.
See? In a family... Wives and children need to show respect to their husbands or father. And again... Wives should be the first ones to practice that quality. Respect your husband and make him feel you're not taking over. And children will just follow. If they see how their Mom respects their Dad, they will surely show respect too without demanding them to do so. In that way, the family can maintain its **peacefulness** and **happiness**.

Baguio escapade
If I would choose where to **spend my summer**... I'll probably choose **Baguio**. The weather there was **so nice** that even the **heat of summer** is **not allowed**.
**March 30, 2017**, is the first-ever **Baguio escapade** that I experienced. It popped up into my **memories on Facebook** that makes me reminisce the happy scenes. It was a **good experience** even though we went there by **truck**. 😅 Yeah exactly. A **truck**.
Can you imagine **15 persons** inside the truck? 😬 It's not easy. I can't even **prolong seating** there as I got **dizzy all the time**.
So what **position** can you imagine? Yeah, we're traveling while **lying down**. 🤭 Imagine how **crowded** we are inside the truck that even someone's **feet** can be your **pillow**. 😅 That's so **awful**. 😂 But it's okay. We're ready to **sacrifice** just to go to **Baguio**. From **Bicol to Baguio**... We will consume **12 hr** of traveling. That's a **long hour** for **truck passengers**. 😅 But still... We're fine with that. We just spend our hours **sleeping**.
After a **looooong hours** of sleep, we're at the Baguio. We can feel the **cold air** coming outside the truck. That just means it's **Baguiooo**!
So yeah... Our driver was so considerate that allowed us to go out and **take a picture** first before we proceed for more hours.
This was my **first ever picture** there. Hahaha, I know it's **not that amazing**... I just took it to have memories that **"yeah... Here I am at Baguio."** 😅
This was my **first ever step** on Baguio. 😅 And the background was just the **highway**. 😅 What's with it? Well, it's **Baguio** pips haha.
We went to our **accommodation**. It's just **in front** of the **Strawberry Farms in La Trinidad**. So who will not be excited about your **first times**? As we're just in front of it, we decided to **go out** and **took a tour** of the **strawberry farm**.
As you can see... It's just **sprouting**. **No strawberry** at all. We didn't tend to experience **strawberry picking**. But anyway, we just wander around. As you can see in the pictures, there are **green tents** at the exit. We go there and you know what we see? A lot of **strawberry vendors**. Different products from strawberries, some souvenirs, and wines. 😍 You know what I appreciate there... When you visit their tents, they will give you a **free taste** of their products. **Wine** is what I loved the most. I love tasting every wine and discovers fruit that possibly can be wine. So yeah, a lot of free taste we did. 🥴 Until we feel drowsy and decided to stop. 😂 Now on the way back to our accommodation, there's an **ice-cream vendor**. He gives us a **scoop**. And tells us that **it's** **free**. It's a **strawberry ice cream**. 🍦 A lot of free taste happened that day. We went home with a **full stomach**.
And you know what, as we tell it to our cousins... They blame us that we didn't invite them to rove. So, they decided to go where there's a lot of free taste. 😂 Such **shameful people**. 😂 They just want the ice cream, so yeah. They went home **so happy** with a scoop of ice cream. 😅
Another day has come... It's our **tour day**. We will spend the **whole day** visiting the **tourist spots of Baguio**. We rent a **Toyota Innova** that will be our service with a driver.
First destination...
📍 **Tam-Awan Village**
This place is more on **vintage things**. You can see different stuff of **old Ifugaos** there, you will know **how they live**, what kind of **house** they have before... And their **different beliefs**.
At first, you need to go a **quick hike**...
As you can see there's a **lot of stairs** from the entrance up to the top... Yeah. More on **exercise** here, I guess. 😅
It's more on **greenery** and there's a **taho vendor** there which sells **strawberry taho**.
It's my first time tasting it.
Also, as we go upstairs... There's one side where the **mirror** is everywhere...
I don't know what does it mean, but I'm sure it's one of **Ifugaos beliefs**. Sorry for the picture, she's a trying-hard model. 🤦♀️
After that, we went down and we discovered an **art gallery**. A lot of drawing, oil painting, watercolor, and wood carvings are there.
I tried **dancing with a painting**. It was so big that I can directly dance with the man. 😬 It's a good thing her partner was not a jealous woman. 😂
That's the end of our exploring there.
Next, we went to...
📍 **Easter Weaving Room**
From the word **weaving**... Yeah, you can see a lot of **authentic traditional weaving techniques** there practiced by the weavers with multi-colored threads.
I was amazed at how **fast** their hands are when it comes to weaving. I can say they are fully focused on their work. Also upstairs, you can see their **finished products**. A lot of **different displays** are there which you can avail by buying. There are accessories like **bracelets, earrings,** also some **bags and cloth** made of hand-woven. My sister bought some bracelets there which became her **long-time accessories**. 😊 It's worth your money.
📍 **The Mansion**
Lol. Here's a **groupie** for you. 😅 Sorry. That's the **only picture** I have right now. A lot of pictures were taken there but I only have this **one** on my phone. 🤦♀️
So okay, this place is the **official summer palace** of the **President of the Philippines**. The **front gate** was open to the **public** but not the main palace itself. The view here is so **elegant and neat**. A lot of **flowers** can be seen here. Also, I remember some **painting vendors** sell their arts here... And my Uncle bought two. Their paintings are so beautiful and worth the price.
📍 **Wright Park**
This is one of my **favorite spots** in Baguio. Why? Here I experienced **riding a horse** for the first time.
See how **happy** I am to experience **horseback riding**. Lol. I don't know why I end up so happy on that scene. I was so **confident riding** but deep inside I was so **nervous**. You don't how this horse can drag you so fast without thinking of his passenger. It's a good thing that the **experienced handler** was always there to **guide** and **watch** us all the time.
But you know what? Before we can reach this riding circle, there's a **long stairway**.
Here at Baguio, they're more on the **stairs**. 😬 I guess it's because their place is more on **hills**. And a lot of **pine trees** you can enjoy taking pictures here. And also a **big dog** who's ready for a selfie. We took a picture with him even though we're afraid of him. 😬
So yeah, that's my memories at Wright Park.
A lot more tourist spots we visited that day, but unfortunately, I don't have the picture. Sad to say our laptop that stores those memories stopped working... And yeah... All the files were gone. 😥

Things in the backyard (Freewrite)
I'm writing today coz I accepted the @meitanteikudo**s challenge** about freewriting. And because I want to write about my **backyard**, let's just **focus** on the **things** here.
I am now at our yard. Waiting for my mind to focus on something. Whatever I saw, I will write something about it.
Ready?
**Plants.** Plants are **god-given gifts** that **provide** people a lot of benefits. It sometimes comes from a medicinal plant, from a bearing tree, from the flower itself, and the leaves and trunks too.
**Soil.** I step on it right now. And I can say that this is what we need to stay on track. This soil is a **plant home**. Plants need to be in there to absorb water and nutrients to be alive.
**Water.** It rained earlier. So God watered the plants for me. No need to do something about it as it already benefited from the shower. It sips everything from the soil and absorbs it on its stem to be able to survive this afternoon. It's all good for a day. Let's see if it rained again tomorrow. I will be happy coz I'm lazy watering my plants. 😅
**Flower.** Did you know that this day is my **happiest day**? Why? I have my **first ever flower bloom**.
It comes in **pink color**. I didn't expect to have it as I just plant it starting from its **seeds**. A **lot of time** I spend watering it until it became a **beautiful flower** now. I know it **worth the wait** as I love having a flower in my garden. Can't wait for other flowers to bloom too. I plant **2 other** different flowers here, and I know this will be beautiful soon. 😍 I want to see a lot of **butterflies** visiting my garden. I love to feed them with its nectar and enjoyed their feast here.
**Stone.** I saw a **stone** right now. And this is **part** of my garden. I won't neglect it unless I don't have time to add it to my article. **Stone** comes in different shapes. I don't know how it certainly helps my plants but I used it as a **design**, as a way to keep my plants **standing**. So yeah, that's how my plants benefited from it. My husband also uses it for his **cement** projects. So yeah, he just put it in one corner and uses it in time of need. 😅
**Leaves.** Every leaf here is so **green**. It just means **healthy plants** right? Well, I also love to have different colors of leaves soon. It will make my garden beautiful even without any flowers on it. Just **plain leaves** make them attractive because of their **unique colors**.
**Grass.** I don't know how this grass can easily grow without any effort of planting and looking after it. I just got annoyed sometimes that they can **easily grow** anywhere than the plants that you cared so much about. I think they all got the nutrients that my plants should have. 🙄 Do I need to **pull it out**? No. Next time maybe. I'm writing and I don't want to be distracted as the timer will end soon. But honestly, some grass has an **attractive flower**.
It's **beautiful** to see, but still, it's **grass**. It easily develops and effortlessly growing too fast. That's why I hate it sometimes.
**Mosquitoes.** Yeah, I saw mosquitoes. I have here **menthol plants** which are known to be **mosquito repellent**. But why is it mosquitoes are **attracted** to it? I think they love the **smell** of my menthol plants. 🤔 Is that **weird**? These mosquitoes are just different I think. They can be alive with poison in them. 😂
I think I almost wrote everything here. So I will end it.
Wow. It just goes well with the time. My **mobile phone** timer beeps which means I spend **25 minutes** writing.
Wheew. How come this **free writing** is so good? 😅 I mean I just tried it for the **first time**. Wrote everything that comes to my mind without any doubts or thinking twice. So yeah, @meitanteikudo is right. It's **enjoyable**. You can try it too. 😊

Facts about astrology and fortune-telling

My **Grandma** *(Lola)* loves to know our **birth month**. Even her friends were asked about it. *"What month are you born?"*, she asked. And then she will tell you what your **personality** is. That's her. She can easily **know you** based on your birth month.
For example, she's born in **January**... She's convinced that every person that is born in January was **hot-tempered**, **sensitive**, and **not a friend of November persons**. While **I**, which born in **May** was **"maldita"**, coz my Aunties are. They are born in May just like me, and she can tell that I will be like them. But no, I'm not like them. I was **kind** and have a **good manner**. 😅 My **Grandpa** was born in **November**, and just like what I said earlier... My Lola was convinced that she **can't go well** with **November persons**. Well, as I observed... They are fine. They have **8 children** that just means of their **love** for each other. My **husband** was also a **November** person, and my Lola said that they will not be good. 😂 Well, I think she's too firm with that idea. 😅
This was what I learned from her. That every person can be known based on their birth month. I was **convinced** at first with this belief. Not until I read one article in a magazine regarding this topic.
It discusses our **future** if ever we can **predict** it **or not**. And I was more convinced by this rather than what I learned from my Lola.
As human beings, we **don't have** any idea or talent for **predicting our future**. We cannot know if we will be rich or ruin? If we'll be loved or lonely? If we will have a long life, or it will be just cut short?
In this article, I will discuss **2 ways** that people use to predict the future. There comes the **astrologer** which means **horoscopes**. And the **fortune-tellers** or **psychics**, who claim to **"read"** the future.
**ASTROLOGY**
Based on **Britannica**, *"Astrology is the type of divination that involves the forecasting of earthly and human events through the observation and interpretation of the fixed stars, the Sun, the Moon, and the planets."*
This one is connected to what's my Lola is doing. She was convinced that one's birth can shape his personality and future. If we will see stars at night... **No force** could affect humans just like astrologers say they do. Also, reading **horoscopes** in newspapers and magazines could **apply to anyone**. Why? It's so **general**.
Furthermore, it **differs** depends on astrologers. Some say that this May, I should not stir up any drama. I should take a **night off for self-care**. While others said that, this May 2021 I should **try something different**. See? It differs. Coz it comes from **different astrologers**.
So what's my **conclusion**?
In reality, people who have the **same birthday** **do not have the same traits**. One's birth date reveals nothing about his or her personality. So let's **stop judging** a person's behavior and character by his birthday. This can lead to prejudice, isn't it?
**FORTUNE-TELLING**
Did you ever try visiting a fortune-teller? The one who uses **tarot cards**, **crystal balls**, **dice**, etc. How's your experience? Are you convinced? Did she know your future? Did you anticipate what your fortune would be?
Well, here's my question: **"Is fortune-telling a reliable way to discern the future?"** If your answer is **no**. You're correct. But if you say **yes**... You need to read this article furthermore.
Adequately, as I said earlier **astrologer differs** in predicting our future. Just like them... **Fortune-tellers often contradict** each other too. Even when they use the **same tarot cards**, they **vary**. For example, one person asks two fortune-tellers about his future based on the **"reading"** of the same cards. Logically the answer should be the same. But often **they are not**.
**Critics** also say that the **cards** or **crystal balls** are just **props** and the fortune-teller read the person's **reaction** rather than the props.
So if ever they ask you a **general question**, they may end up **watching** your **verbal or nonverbal clues** that could **reveal** something. I don't have money
Every **Thursday**, we do our **grocery and market day**. It's our **day off** so we do have a lot more time to do that thing. That is also the time where I **compute how much** money will I **withdraw** and how much **budget** we have.
Last Thursday was **not a good day**. My wallet is **empty**.
**No cash** to be seen. I only have **coins**.
I was supposed to **withdraw** on that day **before going** to the market and grocery store.
As we go to the **nearest ATM**, a lot of people were there. So I said to my husband... Let's just go to the **other ATM**.
So we did. The next ATM was **offline**. The other ATM was also **offline**. We went to the mall, check the ATM outside... Nah, it's **so hot** to wait for the people in line. So I also check inside the mall. A lot of people are also in line. That was a problem. The market hour is until 9:00 am... And it's already 8:00 am. If ever I fall in line, maybe I'll finish with the market that was already close. So I asked my husband, ***"How much money do you have in your wallet?"*** He answered, ***"$2"***. Oh noh, he also **needs to withdraw**. We **both** have **empty wallets**. But still, we've decided to go to the market with that amount of money with us. Just **buy the necessary things** and go back to the mall. You know... That's the most **challenging part** of the day. How would you be able to **buy food for just $2**?
Good thing, my Mom called early in the morning and suggested not to buy vegetables as they have a lot of it in their house. So I was thankful, vegetables are not included in our budget. That time, I just bought an **onion, tomato, eggs,** and **dried fish**. Just that. When $2 was reached... We went to the mall.
At the grocery, we're always using my **ATM card** instead of cash. It's the practical way instead of withdrawing and **paying in cash**. So yeah... We do some grocery, pay in ATM card. And solve.
After that, we've decided to **fall in line** at ATM as our wallet was **empty**. (Paulit ulit 🤭) We need to put something on it at least as **emergencies sometimes happen**. As we're already at the mall, I prefer to **fall in line** there. A lot of people were in line so yeah, it's fine. I can wait.
Time has passed, I was already at the **chair**, waiting for them to finish... I think I was **6th in a row**.
And then the guy with a sando stands up... Check the ATM, then said. It's **offline**. Then leave. Oh, noh... After a long wait, it's offline. 😥 My heart broke. 💔
It's time to go outside and check the line there. Even though it's **hot**, it's **fine**. I need money for now. Do you know what I saw at the ATM outside?
Yeah... It's also **offline**. 😭 How come this ATM simultaneously becomes offline all of a sudden? That's so **sad**. So okay. I don't have any choice but to **go home** and **be contented** with what I bought in the market and grocery.

As I arranged the things we bought... I can say, we **still have food** to be consumed for a week. Our **storage** became **full**.
It's just... Food at the grocery is **processed stock** unlike in the market where you can buy **fresh meat and fish**.
Anyway... We at least have **eggs** here.
I'm proud I have money to buy eggs. Lol.
Anyway... That day, I **struggled for money** a lot. And I can say, it's **not easy** to live without money. It's one of our necessities, and without it, we can't survive.
I realized that day that having money digitally is not good if you're in a place where people are not yet influenced by it. I will be so happy if one day, I can use my ATM anywhere, without having trouble withdrawing.

Sorry, I'm not a good example
I'm **not** a **good example**. You know why? Last **April 30**, we go to **swimming**.
It is one of the **fastest ways** to be **infected** by **Covid**. Even though **Corona Virus** is continuously **increasing**, we're not thinking of **helping** it to **decrease**. We're just **thinking of ourselves**. How to **enjoy**, how to create **happy memories outside**.
**March 2020** it all started. It was declared as a **global pandemic**, where a lot of people were already **infected**. At first, we've got **afraid** to be contaminated by this said **outbreak**. Our **President** declared a **lockdown**, where every **municipality** cannot access the other. They also **announced** that we should wear **masks** all the time, **wash** hands properly, avoid **going outside**, wear a **face shield**, and always **disinfect**. This was **strictly** followed by people as we are all worried to be infected. We also pursued staying in the house even though we're not used to it. My Mom bought a lot of stuff for our **food supplies**, and a lot of people also **panicked** and almost bought all of the food at the groceries.
This time, I can say we did a **good job**. 👏🏽 We almost **stayed** at the house the whole time without thinking of traveling.
But now is different. Pandemic is still there. In our municipality, we have **69 confirmed cases** where **59** already **recovered** and **4** of them already **died**. This **April** was the **latest** declaration of the said cases. We saw a house that is **locked down** because the patient was there. We're **not allowed to pass** or enter that territory as we can be also **quarantined**. Seeing this awaken me that **Covid is not a joke**.
But still, it's my Mom and Dad's **anniversary**. They planned an **outing** and scheduled **overnight swimming**. At first, I said to my husband that we should **not go** as Covid positive patients are **boosting** and we can be infected. We're **firm** to that decision.
As I said that to my family, they **encouraged** us to go with them. They are so **confident** that we cannot be infected. They said we have a **private cottage**, that we can swim to one area where there is no crowd, etc. That made me decide that yeah, maybe **we should go**. And that what happens. We go to Punta Almara without thinking of the pandemic. From what I observed there, people are **not doing social distancing**, **no masks**, **talking face to face**, and enjoying the sea.
That made me realized how people view situations now. They **don't have fear** of coronavirus disease. They came **back to a normal** life where people travel from here to there, be with each other if you miss them, and having a group gathering.
But still, I enjoyed that day... I just got a kick out of that moment, without thinking how the world became so worst because of the Covid-19.
After that enjoyable day, we attended a **meeting**. And there's an **announcement** regarding the **pandemic**. It said that we should be a **good example** if we're doing a **personal decision**. Example gatherings, swimming and traveling. It also stated that we all miss our relatives and friends. But **showing love** to them during this pandemic will lead us to not seeing them but limiting ourselves to be with them.
A lot of family members died because of not following protocols. So it depends on us if we will follow the policies. But for me, being a **good example** is a must.
That **announcement** made me so **guilty**. I realized how I became a **bad example** to everyone. I even posted pictures on **social media**. 🤦🏽♀️
**Authorities** don't lack **reminders** regarding the protocols. Every time... they announced and remind us what we should do. But still, we're not following. I'm so guilty until now.
I also realized how I didn't consider **doctors** and **nurses** in the **hospitals**. They face different cases every day and it still increasing. They are always **afraid of the virus** but still, they need to face it. They can be infected all the time as they are too **exposed** to the said virus. And sadly, a lot of **healthcare workers** **died** because of the COVID-19. 😭 That made me admit that I am so **selfish**.
And imagine this... Some people still think that COVID-19 **doesn't exist**. Visualize that **one doctor** got **tired** of walking out of an ICU where COVID-19 has **killed** another patient and when he walked into a grocery store he hears people saying it **doesn't exist**. That was so **heartbreaking**.
Also, I read some posts even on noise.cash that **doctors juking the hospitalization numbers to get more money**. Even though I don't know the reality, but in general I know doctors still doing their best just to lessen the spread of the virus. So let's just **respect** them, **thank them** for their undying sacrifices, and make them feel that we **appreciate** their efforts and bravery.
So now, what is my **conclusion**?
**DON'T GO OUT** if you're not doing stuff that could affect your living. Stay in the house. Avoid spreading the virus. And **BE A GOOD EXAMPLE**. ❤

Oh, noh. I've been inactive for about two days now. I tried to write an article but I just keep on composing an intro and don't know how to proceed. I also try writing on different topics, but still... Intro freeze. Should I be pressured now? 🥴 I want to be consistent. 😬
Catanduanes tourist attractions
**Catanduanes** is one of the places I enjoyed the most. It is my first time traveling there so I was amazed how it got **maintained** so well.
My **friend** will be **married** and we are **invited**. It is Monday morning when we went to the **port**. We bought a **ticket** and carry the **luggage**. We will be riding a **feeerrrrryyy**.
It was so big and great that even a **bus** can **ride** on it.
It is my **first time** riding that kind of transportation as I always ride on a **smaller boat**. Then the time came when it started to function. I love to see how that ferry **splashes** the water. It is so **refreshing**.
I am with my **family and friends**...
We chose to seat on the top of the ferry which is on the **third floor** rather than the **air-conditioned room** on the **first floor**. Why? We want to enjoy the **view** and the **fresh air**. 🌬
And because we want to get a kick out of every minute of every day... 🤭 we **rove around** the ferry. Even though it was a **little bit dizzying** because of the ferry's motion... We took advantage of taking pictures on every corner of the sea.
This is in **front** of the ferry. We got a little hesitant at first posing in this area as the **captain** of the ferry will be **blocked**. But they were so kind and advised us to continue doing what we prefer. Just don't pose or stand near the front mirror as it can **completely block** the captain. So we did a lot of capturing here and there. **Discover** a lot of the ferry's functions. Lol. And yeah. We enjoyed it.
Ohh by the way, I'm with my **ex-boyfriend**... And we copied the **titanic pose**. 😅
This **position** was so **hard to obtain** coz his hands are so long while mine was short. Lol. But yeah... The **photographer** does her job so well and gets the **right angle** of it. 😅
Anyway... It's **11:44** in the morning so the **heat** was so **sharp**. But we didn't notice coz we're just enjoying it. We saw a **new spot** which is in the **back** of the ferry. It is a beautiful place to took a picture so we grab the opportunity to capture it around.
Trying hard models. Lol.
Anyway... As we arrived at Catanduanes, we eat our lunch or snacks I think. Then go to a hotel.
Our friend's wedding will be held on Tuesday so we need to prepare the location and see what we can assist with.
We are assigned to create a **photo booth** **with paper flowers**. And here's the result.
Some also assembled the **centerpiece** and the **table numbers**...
We end up so late and decided to go home and rest.
The wedding will be held at 1:00 pm but still, we need to sleep and prepare some more.
The time came, the **bride** was all set and ready to **submit** herself without any doubt.
She is one of my **close friends** and I got amazed at how she end up beautifully this time. Lol.
Anyway, their wedding becomes so solemn and enjoyable.
It ends up **successfully** and we're so happy for both of them.
Another day has come... We're going to rove around Catanduanes. The **new couple** wants to entertain us and offer some tour. And we got excited coz we love wandering.
First destination...
**Luyang Cave Park**
This cave is one of the tourist attractions in Catanduanes. It is located below the San Andres-Virac highway. It was so **dark** inside that we need to use our **phone's flashlight**. As we enter the cave, the **bat's pee** was already approaching us. A lot of bats were living in the cave. They were everywhere. And you know what? My father reacted as we were walking that some bats released a **bad odor**. And we discovered that they keep on **pooping**. Lol. Gross. Anyway, that made us decide to go out. We don't want to adopt the not-so-good smell from that cave. 🤢
So we just took pictures outside... For souvenirs.
Next destination...
**Sakahon Beach**
The first plan is to swim here. But as we compute the time we will spend, we decided to choose the last destination that they propose. So we just consume a few hours here to eat our lunch then go to the next destination.

Last destination...
**Binurong View Point**
This one is the **most recommended** destination in Catanduanes. Every person that I ask for a tourist attraction suggested this.
But before you can see this beautiful view... You need to walk for **25 minutes**. That time gives us a hard time. It's not easy to walk on the path. A lot of **difficult and slippery soil** we passed. I didn't prepare for it, so I just got a **slipper**. The tourist guide also gives us a **stick**.
That's the reason behind it. We need the stick to prevent us from slippery. It's a good thing I have my **boyfriend** that time who **assists** me and **helps** me along the way. But I swear... The view was beautiful but the **struggle** along the route is **not enjoyable**. 🤕
I think I will not come back here anymore. But maybe it's just that slippery that day because it **rained**. Anyway, based on the **tour guide**... There are **three different points** here around the landscape.

We all **visit** those points. It's **showering** that day, so a little bit slippery on the way. But we enjoyed it. Taking pictures on every corner of it. We just **ignore the weather** and appreciate everything on it. The **waves** on the sea, the fresh **air**, the **rock** formation... Everything is **beautiful**.
Not until we need to go coz it's getting **dark**, and it's not safe to walk on a dark path. So yeah... We walk again for another **25 minutes** until we reached the entrance. Going back is a little bit easy. We memorized the difficulties so we know how to **handle** them.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the view. I love Catanduanes, and a lot more tourist attractions there I want to visit.
**The lesson I learned:**
`Always grab the opportunity to rove different destinations. Time will come that you will be proud to tell your kids how you enjoy your childhood. How you use your time to learn and visit other places. How beautiful it is to tour around and know a different kind of attractions. Also, don't limit yourself to stuck in one corner. Try to use every minute to enjoy the surroundings. Capture every angle of it. Take picture of yourself for souvenirs. Coz we don't know the future. Just like now, we can't do the sightseeing as we're experiencing this pandemic. So your memories will be the only thing to help you think that you didn't waste any minute when everything is normal.`

Be a good listener
How many **ears** do you have? How many **mouths**?
If I were to ask, we have **two ears** and **one mouth**. Am I right? That's so **basic**. All of us know that.
Now, what's my point? God created us with that body part and the **number** shows how much we **require** it to **use**.
We have **two ears** that means **listen more**. And **one mouth** that declares that we have to **talk less**.
On this part, I can say that I handle it well. Based on my friends, they appreciate the way I make them feel **comfortable** while **telling** me a **problem or a story**. They can feel **I'm all ears**. That's what they like. I'm **listening**.
But did you know that **listening** is different from **hearing**?
Based on **Merriam-Webster**:
**Hearing** is defined as *"the special sense by which noises and tones are received as stimuli"*. While **listening** means *"to pay attention to sound; to hear something with thoughtful attention, and to give consideration."*
Can you see the difference? If you have to tell a story, would you like people to only hear it or listen?
Of course, **listen**. All of us don't want to say a tale if people are **not** that **interested**.
**So how can we say if people listen to us?**
Based on my observation... One person is listening if he at least **nods**. If he's **answering** after I ask him a question. If he's **raising a question** regarding the topic.
**But why do we need a person who listens?**
In our life, we face different situations, experiences, and circumstances. Sometimes we are so happy, we got sad, or excited. On these emotions, **we need someone who cares**. Someone who'll be happy with what we achieved. Someone who will comfort us if we're sad. Someone to be more excited about our plans.
One girl named Aliyah stated to me... That she loves to share her stories with me. Why? She can feel I'm listening. She can feel I'm ready to **give attention** to her. That every word that comes from her mouth will be **valued**. That every emotion that she felt, even though she knows I can't remove it, is **respected**.
Well, I love **hearing stories**. I also love to **help**. Knowing that people **run to you** when everything is so **down**, is so **heartwarming**.
Sometimes, I received a call from someone who's **crying**. I don't know what to say. So I just **listen**. Sometimes people **don't want to hear** something from us. They just want you to **LISTEN**. Just **listen**. It's all that they wanted.
And I think I'm that person. I'm willing to listen. I'm not a **talkative** one. So I think that's what they like.
They are **irritated** with someone who speaks the same problem as them. That every time they state their problem, that person also states his. So instead of **comfort**, the **burden** just got **added**. That's so **heavy** indeed.
Imagine that you ask someone to help you with the **heavy baggage**. But instead of helping you. He **added** more. That's **inconsiderate**.
**So, how can we develop our listening skills?**
Let me tell you some of **my ideas** and **observation** based on my experience.
1. If they are **stating**, try to **look** them in the **eye**. **Not too long** to make them **uncomfortable**. But a **glimpse** just to make them feel you're **paying attention** to them.
2. **Allow** them to **talk**. Even though you want to interrupt, let them talk. Just think that it's their **time** to **release emotions**. So be a **sponge** that **swallows** all the **words**. Give him **time** to **speak**.
3. Try to **put yourself** in their **shoe**. **Understand** the situation. **Ask** him if you don't understand what he's saying. In that case, he can feel that you're listening.
4. **Avoid** doing something that can **interrupt** the storyteller. If it's not that important, **stop** for a minute. Give him your **whole attention**. Maybe he needs you that much, rather than anything.
5. Don't forget to **talk** too. Even though he needs you to listen, a **few words** can be a **big help** to state that you **care**. Maybe a simple *"Do you mean...?"*, *"Really?"* or *"That sucks."* can **flow** the **communication** very **well**.

Punta Almara Beach Resort
It's my **Mom and Dad's anniversary**. They've been married for about **29 years** now. We celebrated it on the exact date which is **April 20**. We go to **Chowking** and eat **dinner** with them.
My brother **didn't arrive** on the said date, so we plan to **celebrate** it **again**.
**April 22**, we **gathered** at the house just to celebrate their anniversary. I bought **cake**, my 2 brothers bought **ice cream** and **chicken wings**, my sister got some **drinks**. 😊
We enjoy the **dinner** and **karaoke** night after.
The celebration doesn't end there. My Dad planned some **outing**. We went to **Punta Almara Beach Resort**. 🎉
This happened on **April 30**, the last day of April.
We went there at **1:30 pm**... And consume **2 hours** for traveling. We use **Jeep** for our transportation.
This Jeep was occupied by **12 passengers.** It was so **vacant** that we can lie down if we want to. 🤭
After a long and tiring ride, we arrived at the said location. I just can't wait to see the beach coz last year was the **ultimate swim** I still remember. Are you ready to see it? 😍
Here it is. So blue and calm. 🥰
This view **refreshed** my **exhausted** body and soul. I just can't help myself not to be **fascinated** at beaches. It always makes my **heart jump** for excitement.
By the way, **dogs** are allowed here so we brought **Toby** with us. 😍
This dog plays with the **waves**, not until he got all **wet and soaked**. That makes him **hate** the **waves** immediately.
So as usual, beaches deserve some snap that moment, so we took that opportunity to **capture** every **angle** of it.
Capture here, snap there. Oh yeah, I'm the **model**. 🤫
Time has passed so fast, **night** arrives. This resort is known for its **glamorous** and **stunning lights.**
I waited for it to show up. That gives an **excitement** to me as I just always saw it on Facebook or other social media stories.
I love the effect, the fineness, and the classiness. No doubt why this resort has become a **tourist spot** nowadays. It was always full of people who love beaches. Even darkness can't stop them from admiring it.
Enough with that, let's eat our **dinner** first. We have here **grilled chicken and fish**.
This must be present if you're planning for a beach escapade. Also, my Aunt brought some ***"Lechon"*** **(charcoal roasted/barbecued pig)**.
We eat dinner and plan to swim after. And ohh... Before I forgot... That night, the **moon** shows beautifully. It became so **red** and big. My mobile phone cannot capture it but my eyes saw how it became so **fascinating**. That made me realize that I need a **DSLR camera** that worth **P10,000 - P25,000**. I think I need to set my **goal** in the **BCH world** and buy something like this in the **future**.
So okay we took a walk again in the area, and discover more of its **interesting spots**.
Until I saw these two **love birds**.
They celebrate their anniversary so they deserve some **privacy** I think. 😅 Anyway, they are **Mom and Dad**... Getting **sweeter** as time passes by. They love **spending their time** with each other even in **crowded places**. Being together for about 29 years, but **no sign of disloyalty**.
It's getting late, but people are so **active and alive**. Still on the beach, and enjoying. We went to our **private cottage** and **mix** some **GSM Blue, Yakult, and Sprite**. Here's the result:
I'm telling you this **mixture** was so **pleasing** that you can't even imagine that you can be drunk shortly. We drink it near the beach with a **picnic mat**.
This gives **unique vibes**. We took satisfaction in it and end up so late. We need to sleep.
Even though we rent a private cottage, having a **tent** and sleeping on it gives an **extraordinary experience**.
Morning has come, and we woke up so early just to meet **Mr. Sun**. We planned to **arise** before sunrise. So we sleep at **1:30 am** and woke up at **5:00 am**. Almost **3 hours** of sleep. Not that **dizzy**, we still can manage. 😅
So waking up that early, Mr. Sun was still **asleep**. So we **wait** for a little bit more.
Our dog **Toby** was also **awake**, so he's back on his **video recording**. He has a **YouTube channel** by the way. 😅
Okay, we spend **30 minutes** waiting and Mr. Sun already showed up.
It's not just us who waited but also a lot of guests and visitors. I also observe that they already spend their time **swimming** that early. I think the cold never bothered them anyway. 🤭
So we walked along the seashore... I'm with my **husband**.
This is the **best time** to **build up** your **relationship**. Seeing nature, smelling the sea breeze, with sand on your feet and waves touching it.
This time I saw these **love birds** again.
They were everywhere I go. 😂 They were **creating memories**. I love how they set a **good example** for us. I hope I can be like them **20 years** from now.
Anyway, going back to the cottage...
We ate breakfast and decided to swim after.
**Kayaking** is one of the **trends** here... So to make our **journey satisfying**, we rent 4 kayaks. It goes for **P75 per person**.
@sc is my partner in **balancing**. So we decided to **rent one** for us.
This one is the **riskiest kayak** for me when it comes to **balancing**. It's just a **flat kayak** so one **wrong move** can **flip** it and let us **fall down** the sea. 😅 Well, we're not that **afraid** coz we have a **life jacket**.
This time, we also **took advantage** of the deep sea. **Snorkeling** is the **best** for it.
We saw clownfish, sea urchins, blackfish, and jellyfish. They live on **coral reefs**. I love to see this kind of creature coz they are so unfamiliar to me.
Okay, I need to go back to the **kayak**. I'm not comfortable with the snorkel and am already tired of swimming.
This kayak is good for **one person**. I tried it and looks like I can **manage** the paddle. 👏🏽
Okay. Enough with that. The **lifeguard** whistles and signs times up. So we need to **go back** to the seashore and **return** the kayaks. Some guests are already waiting for their turn. Some of them are just new to this so the lifeguard teaches them how to paddle. Minutes have passed, they go back to the seashore. I thought they are already finished but they laugh coz they can't control the paddle. Lol. How come we managed it so easily. Hahaha. So arrogant. 🤭
Anyway, as we go back to the cottage, there's someone who offered **alcoholic drinks**. They said it's **free to taste**. So why not? At first, it's **The Bar**.
The orange one suits my taste buds rather than the green one. They said, later on, they will go back to offer us a **different drink**. And yeah, that happens. While we're at the beach. We saw them **waiting** at our cottage. Then my husband shouts, *"Hey, it's us."* Lol. That's shows how he **loves** liquors. 😂 So this time, it's **soju time**.
Again... The orange one suits my taste buds. The green one tastes okay too, but the orange one is the best for me.
My Dad also returns to the seashore with **starfish** with him.
The lifeguard saw it and advised us to return it to the sea before someone caught us and make us pay for it. And yeah, we don't have any intention to bring it back home, so we take it back to the sea and we bathe until noon. Then we head home. 🏠
It's a **wonderful** day. And I won't regret spending my day at the sea. Always been my **favorite** place.

DIY Kitchen Scraps Fertilizers
**Planting** has been my **hobby** since **March**. I **enjoyed** doing it as it can give us **food** shortly or it can be a beautiful **garden** someday. I love to see how other people **harvest** their **crops**. I also appreciate those **gorgeous parks** with a lot of different and attractive **flowers**.
When I was young, I like to take pictures of blossoms. I also want to experience harvesting crops. Not to the point that I want to plant my yard.
Now was different. I am planting with the **goal** of **harvesting** someday. I am planting **to have** a **wonderful and impressive garden** someday.
Viewing other gardens makes me **admire** the plant, up to the point that I end up having seeds or something to plant when I got home. 😅 I understand now how plantitos and plantitas always have a **handful of plants** that will be planted in their garden after visiting their friend.
This April, we visited a friend. Her garden was full of flowers.
I got attracted to it and wanted to plant mine too. So I end up **demanding** some **seeds** after. 😅

This fertilizer is so easy to make as eggs are always available in our kitchen. You only need to wait for **1 to 2 days** to **dry** the eggshell, then **crushed** it. You can put it **directly** into plain **soil** or **soak** it in **water** and use the water for **watering**. After 1 week, you can see how a plant grows so **healthy**. It is composed of **calcium** that will moderate soil acidity and will provide **nutrients** for plants.
**Banana peel**
Yes, you read it right. Banana peel can also be used as a **fertilizer**. Some people **dried** it and **crushed** it using the **blender**. This fertilizer is **rich** in **potassium** and **calcium** which is good for plants like **tomatoes, peppers,** or **flowers**.
**Coffee grounds**
Not just people love coffee, but also plants got addicted to it. 😍 Plants need coffee too. But you don't need to blend it with sugar or creamer. Simply **sprinkle** it onto the **soil** surrounding your plants.
Why does it become a **great fertilizer**? Well, coffee grounds contain several **key nutrients** required for **plant growth**. It can also help **attract worms** and **decrease** the concentrations of **heavy metals** in the soil. You can put it to **acid-loving** plants like **azaleas** and **blueberries**. It's also good for the **growth** of **fruits** and **flowers**. So next time you'll blend coffee, don't forget to give your plants too. 😊
**Bonus tip:**
`Eggshells, banana peel, and coffee grounds can be combined and use as a tremendous fertilizer. You can use a blender for the easiest way of mixing it. Just put everything on it (you can also add a few glasses of water if you want it watery) then blend. These 3 will be a great combination.`

Christians: Death is temporary
**Death** has been part of our lives. It is **common** for us to hear the **news**, or watch the **information** about someone's **loss**.
Last **Monday**, my Mom called early in the morning. She tells me that one of our friends already **died**. That gives me a **shock**. This man just so **active** at the **zoom meeting** last **Thursday**. How come it happened so **fast**?
**Yesterday**, at exactly **10 a.m**., my Mom called again. As I answered, she asked me if I already knew the **news**. Having no idea, I asked her what is it? Another friend **lost her life**.
In this scenario, it's so common to hear someone's lives got **lost over and over again**. We got shocked how people just got so **energized today**, yet **tomorrow** will be **gone**. Some died too **young**. Some perished **without** any **illnesses**. Some vanished because of **accidents, diseases, disasters, etc.**
It's **normal** to feel **sad**, to **cry**, to **regret**, and to **miss** that person this instant.
Take this for **example**:
Earlier, we joined a family that has a **Father** who will be **buried**. I saw a lot of this event as many people already died. Their Father has been a **good man**. He became a **respectable friend** for all. A **nice father** to his child. A **loveable and sweet husband** to his wife. A lot of **happy memories** they **spend** with this person. Not until the day has come that they will **no longer** have a **chance** to be with him again.
They **cried**, **screamed**, and **whimpered**. Some almost **lost their breath** because of the **pain** it causes. They **cried out** as if that person hear them out. Seeing how family and friends **suffered**, makes my heart in **distress** too. I don't want to be in their shoe. To feel that I lost someone I loved. To be **hopeless** and **regretful** for the future.
Some also think: What if we do this, can he live longer? What if we do that, can she still survive? Many **what-ifs**. But that's life. It **ends** there.
But think about this... *What if that person lives again? Be with you again? Share happy memories again without the fear of dying? What if that person became so healthy, no more sickness, pains, and sufferings? Can you imagine how beautiful life is?*
The **bible** says: *"Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment."* - **John 5:28,29**
Yes, God's word tells us that shortly, God will do something that will **amaze** us. Those that are in the **memorial tombs** will **come out**. This is **literal**. Not a spiritual soul will be alive again, but like us as a human.
Some of you may say, is this **real**? How come is this **possible**?
If you are familiar with the bible... There are **lots of different stories** which show **dead people** can be **given another life**, another **existence**. That makes their family **happy**. Give them **chance** to be **together again**. Not unless they died again.
Soon, God will **fulfill** all His **promises**. We can live in a **perfect home (paradise)** without a fear of dying. Can't wait for the **moment** to see all dead will have a chance to live again. Can't wait to **meet and greet** all my family and friends that lost their life today. Can't wait to **embrace and show my love** to those people for who I didn't have a chance to express my affection.
The Bible gives us **hope** for the **future**. That even though we're struggling for today, but shortly everything will change into **beautiful scenes**. No more **death, sickness, crimes, and fears**. Everything will be changed into **satisfactory**.

A roller coaster Tuesday
**April 20, 2021**
This day is like a **roller coaster** when it comes to our **emotions**. It all started on **waking up late**. And as expected... **Late at work**. 😬 I was **working online**, so I was like getting up and open the laptop, then start working. 😂 Without thinking about what I **smell** and what I **look** like. That's the **advantage** of **working at home**.
Next, we expected a **power interruption** from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This was **announced** yesterday. So we **prepared** a lot for it. I informed our leader that I will be out of work early as we're expecting the **brownout**. I **cooked** breakfast and lunch. Already prepared everything. Charged our cellphones, power banks, laptops, everything was ready. And **9:00 am** passed, still, we have power. **9:05 am**... Nothing changed. We ate our breakfast.
Done. And everything seems okay.
This day, my husband planned everything to be **productive**. We do this every time a power interruption occurred. And we're happy at what we achieve.
This time...
It's a **backyard project**. 😊

Another thing I do is...

While getting busy with a lot of stuff, I heard a dog **shouting** and **crying**. So I immediately check what happened. Until I saw this... 👇🏽
This dog loves to come upstairs... But don't know how to go down. 🤦♀️ Yeah... He needs some **assistance** now.
Time has passed, getting everything done. We finished it by 12:30 am. We took our lunch. Thanks to my **mother-in-law**, she gave us a dish. 😊
This day... We also planned to go to our **friend's wake**. He died last Monday. We didn't expect it will happen that fast. He seems so strong these last few days. But yeah, he's already **maintaining** some **medicine**. Getting **older** needs some **maintenance**. So, we got used to it. But knowing he will be dead this early... We still got **surprised** by the news. 😥
We prepared at 3:00 pm and went to the wake.
Their house has been used for gatherings, festivities, parties, etc. We have a lot of **happy memories** there. And this person became so kind and easy to socialize with. He loves to cook and entertain us with his menus. We became so close... And suddenly this happens. My husband also became so **close** with his family. They're like a **second family** to him. He grew up with them. He became a **son** and a **brother** to that family. And even his **best friend** is the son of this person.
That's why getting on that house is so **uncomfortable**. Seeing his children **crying**... We don't know how to **approach** them. My husband didn't hold his tears. He **moaned**. I didn't expect that. It's my first time seeing him **groan**. What I do is... I give him a tissue. That's the only way I can **comfort** him. His best friend, which is the son of the dead person made a **video call**. He answered it. But it seems, they only see each other crying. That made me cry too. 😭 I can feel the **pain** they were **carrying** at that time. I know how close they've been. I know how that family **helped** him and in one moment... Everything changed. Someone **lost** his life. 😥
Then we went home. We connect to Wi-Fi. I read a chat, it's from my Dad. It's their **29th anniversary** this day. We made a plan for the celebration but not this day because we're not complete. My brother went to Baguio and will be home soon. But my Dad demands a **simple dinner**. We got invited by him to dine. I think he will treat us. 😅
So after that sad moment, it was changed to a **happy moment**.
This two celebrated their **wedding anniversary** today. They seemed to **love** each other so much. That's why as a child, we also **love** them dearly. They experienced a lot of problems, crises, difficulties, and complications. And yet they're **still together**. That proved **true love**. They also became a **great parent** to us. Not that strict yet **well disciplined**. I can say, all of us became a **good children**. 😅 That's because of them. I have a husband now... And in the future maybe some children too. I want to be an **extraordinary parent** like them. Not that **perfect** but a **better** one, I can say.
We ate our dinner.

The Four Main Aspects of Life
All of us want to **stay healthy**. And individually, we have different opinions, beliefs, viewpoints, and statements regarding this matter.
What is your **lifestyle** to stay healthy? Does it require a lot of **effort** and **endeavor**? Are you **happy** with the result? Or you're still doing a lot of **self-discipline**?
We all know that having a healthy lifestyle results in a **long and happy life**. We're **struggling** for that achievement as this civilization doesn't help us with that objective. But still, we're **doing the best** that we can to achieve the **healthy lifestyle** that we require.
In this article, I will share some of my **ideas** and my **suggestions** on how to **stay healthy**. And I will tackle the **4 main aspects** of an individual that work together to guide us along the path of life.
📌**Physical health**
As human beings, we're created to maintain our bodies **clean**. In our school, teachers always demand us to do that. **Take a bath** regularly, **brush your teeth** after meals, **cut your nails** and make them clean, etc. Since we're kids, we know that having a **clean body** results in a healthy physique. And that's what we do until now. Maintaining the cleanliness that it obliges. How about the **food** we eat? Some of us don't know how to have a **healthy meal**. Just eating everything, as long that it's delicious and suits our taste buds. By the way, my Dad trained us to have a **2 dish** per meal.
One for the **meat or fish**, and the other one for **veggies**. **Vegetables** need to be present always. He got angry and **don't enjoy eating** without it. So, I adopt that healthy way of living when it comes to **nutrition**.
📌**Mental health**
How can you rate your **IQ**? Some of us try to answer an examination to know how high our IQ is. Some just join competitions where people know who is the smartest.
Well, having a **healthy brain** is a must. It gives us **confidence** if we are **wise**. But how can you say if you have a healthy brain?
According to **Mental Health Foundation**, *"Good mental health is characterized by a person's ability to fulfill several keys functions and activities, including the ability to learn, the ability to feel, express and manage a range of positive and negative emotions."*
It means having a healthy mind, requires you to **learn easily**, and to **organize your emotions**. It's true, some of us cannot handle that much, so it leads to **stress** or worst, **depression**.
Another part of mental health is what we **insert** into our brain. For example, what kind of **movies** do you watch? What **entertainment** do you enjoy playing? What type of **music** do you love to listen to?
These are the **daily activities** that we love doing. But did you know that the things that we see and hear can **affect our mental health**? Yes. Take **music** for example. Some **songs** are composed of **unpleasant lyrics**. It is common for us now. Sometimes because of the **beautiful beat**, we tend to **enjoy music** without thinking about the **verses** of the song. Little did we know, we **hymn** the song until we **memorize** it whole. That's what other call **LSS** *(Last Song Syndrome)*. Then without knowing, the **unpleasant lyrics** already affect our way of thinking. It **influences** us and results in **bad behavior**.
What about people that we **socialize** with? Can it affect our mental health? Yes, they can.

People are like **sponges**. Even though we don't want to be **influenced**, we can easily **adapt** to what people around us **think**. In no meantime, we will just realize that the way we speak is the same with the people we're always **socializing** with. So make sure to **choose your friends wisely**.
📌**Moral values**
How **high** our standards when it comes to **morally**? In this world, I can say that it's **not** that **outstanding**. A lot of people get used to **same-sex marriage**, **sex before marriage**, or even **immorality**. Sadly, it's being **common** for us to read some news or hear an announcement regarding the **low moral standard**. How about you? What's your viewpoint regarding this matter?
As for me, I will stick to a **high standard** of the **Bible**. I know people **view** it today as an **old model book**. But I **trust** the **author** of it, which is **God**. He **created** us so He knows what's the **best** for us.
I and my husband have been **in a relationship** for about **7 years**. We **love** each other dearly. We **spend our time together** on a date, or in a simple conversation. We hold hands, hug, kiss, yeah we do that. How about **sex**? Honestly, we never did that for 7 years. A lot of people who are in a relationship **spend their night together**. Doing things that **belong** to a **married couple**. It's true, we **struggled** **so much** about this matter. We are **tempted** to do it, but because we **love** each other and **respect** each other... We **won** the battle. 😊 We are **married** now and **didn't regret** that we **follow** the **high moral standard**. I am **happy** that I gave him the **whole** me when we're already married. That builds **trust** more.
Surely, if we follow the high moral standard... We will be **happy**. We will **avoid** the possible **illness** that it brings. And certainly, our **conscience** will be **clean**.
📌**Spiritual values**
How **strong** your **relationship** with **God**? Are you aware that in life, **spiritual well-being** is **required**?
We are all **busy** with our **daily work**, **activities**, and **chores**. But do you somehow **set a schedule** for the **spiritual routines**? How do you do it? Can it **strengthen** your **connection** with **Him**?
Some **rich people** or **famous ones** share a story of being **lonely**. Out of **popularity** and **wealth**, they still feel that something is **missing**. Until they found out, they **lack spiritual health**.
Yeah, it's true, we are **created** to **develop** our **spirituality**. It is **part** of our **human being**. And little did we know, God provided **everything** that we need. The only thing we need to do is **effort**. Learn to **balance** our time not just on material things, but also on **spiritual things**. It's like eating a **dessert**.
We all **love** desserts, surely. But imagine if it's the **only food** that we eat... For **breakfast**, **lunch**, **snacks**, and **dinner**. What do you think will happen to your body? Because it **doesn't consist** of all the **nutrients** that our body needs, we will get **sick**. Same with our life. Material things and entertainment are like **dessert**. We **enjoyed** having it. But make sure not to use our **whole life** on it. We will get **sick** and **unhealthy**. Try to **read** the **bible**. Understand its **message**. **Pray** to God. **Talk** to Him. And make sure to have a **strong relationship** with Him no matter how busy we are.

But yeah, **forever** is not with us. I got **busy**, and that results in not seeing each other a lot. I tend to **miss him**, and thinking if **he misses me too**. I know **he did**. He sometimes **shares my thoughts** with others and that makes me think he remembers me. That **I became a part of him**, and that will not be changed.
So now what?
I'm **not** that **busy**. I still **think** of him. So I tend to **visit read.cash**. But I think he's not here. I visit noise.cash. And there he goes. **I found him.** We **interact** with each other again. I know **he can't remember me**. But it's okay, as long as he's doing fine and okay. That makes me happy. Now I'm **loving** him again. Helping me again, and makes me **fall in love** with him again. Oh, noh! I **can't help myself** but love him even more. I tend to **enjoy** his company. And yeah, I'm putting a **lot of effort** to be with him again. I hope nothing **separates** us from each other. I want to see how this man grows and be successful with his life. I'm praying to guide him and be happy always.

Just go with the waves
The day has come where we will be having **sea travel**. We're so **excited**. It was the **three of us** who wants to **rove**. It was me and my 2 siblings. We just got invited by our cousin. And yeah, we **didn't let it pass by**.
It was early in the morning, **6:00 am** to be exact. We're already at the **Port**. Buying **tickets** for the boat. We're going to travel by **4 hours** to our destination. And then transfer to a **smaller boat**, to deliver us to the exact location.
Sea travel is my **favorite**. I got a little scared because of the **deep sea**. But then the **fresh air** and the **water** around me make me feel excited. I am also **amazed** by the creature under the sea, which sometimes **appears** while we're relaxing in the boat.
Sometimes, I feel a little **dizzy**, because of the boat motion. But what I do is just **sleep**. Then the dizziness was gone. 🥴
Transferring to a smaller boat needs **balance**. Plus the **things or packages** that we're bringing, it's a little bit **frightening**. I think in a **wrong single move**, we're gonna **fall**. But thanks to the **gentlemen**, they assist us with a **strong arm**. 💪🏽
**4 hours** have passed, we're at our location. Safe travel? Check. ✅
This is what it looks like. As you can see, the **passenger boat** was that far. It's because a lot of rocks are on the way. It can damage the boat. So, we passengers, we're asked to get down... And walk up to the seashore.
There are also **tons of rocks and gravel** on this side. They said it will be used for a new **port** project. That's why they're preparing a lot of it.
So, when we all reached the seashore... We went to a friend's house, take some rest, and spend the rest of the day at the seaside.
The place was so beautiful. 😍 The **Mayon Volcano** was also present in this view. We spend our time till **sundown**. Taking a picture here and there. Getting more excited by the **breeze**, the **sound waves**, and the **sand**.
Because it's getting **dark**, the **silhouette** is a must.
**L-O-V-E...** This is all that we've got. And yeah, it's getting dark, we need to go home now. There's **no street light** here. So they said it's **not safe** for us to stay outside.
And you know what, there's an **electricity schedule** here. For example, 9:00 am till 5:00 pm. It's just their time to use the electricity. But after that, all of them are **blackout**.
Good thing, the house we're staying in has **installed solar panels**. They don't have a problem whether the electricity was gone. They just change the switch, then that's it.
Another day has come, another problem arises for me. The **water** they were drinking taste different from what I was accustomed to. So, even though I'm drinking that water, it **doesn't cure my thirst**. Good thing there's a store nearby. I bought some soft drinks just to lessen my thirst.
On the **2nd day**, we walk far distances. It's **tiring**. But still, we managed to swim after we get back home.
I taste the sea, and it's **salty**. 😂✌🏽
We also saw some **starfish**.
😍 I got amazed at its **design**. It's so beautiful, isn't it? I tried to touch it too. And I discovered it has a lot of **little tube feet** at the bottom of it. It's tickling my hand, so I decided to give it back to them. After some minute or so, they advised us to **put it back to the water**, as it can be dehydrated and die after. So, we follow what they said, and put it back to the water. Bye, Mr. Starfish.
**3rd day**, we go to a **popular island** there, which is the **Guinanayan Island**. **White sand + blue sea + clean surroundings = perfect.** We enjoy the view. It's mesmerizing.
We also collected some **pebbles and shells**. Just a few for souvenirs.
We enjoyed it so much.
There's also a tree that has a lot of branches.
You can spend your time here while enjoying the view and the sea breeze. I almost take a **nap** here. It's refreshing. 🍃
But minutes have passed, I think it's time to take a **swim**. We're searching for a better spot. We walked and walked and walked until we went to the very end.

My hidden talent
**Talent** what makes us **special**. It is a **unique skill** that God gives us. Some have the talent to **sing**, some can **dance**, some mastered **drawing**, and others love **cooking**. That what makes them **extraordinary**.
How about you? What talent do you have? Are you the **"jack of all trades, and master of none"**?
Well, if you will ask me, what is my talent? I'd rather say **"hidden talent"**. Yeah. It's hidden like a **treasure**. And until now I can't find it. 😂 At the age of 26, I still did not get the right way of singing. Dancing can be part of my talent, but I think... I need more practice for that. 🤭. Drawing... That's my Dad and brother's talent, let them perform it... I'm not copying someone's mastery. 🤭 And cooking, maybe this is the one. But sometimes it's too salty, sometimes it's tasteless. 🥴 How come that these talents didn't work well on me? 😅
Politely, it's okay. I still can manage my existence without it.
But wait, I'll share with you one of my **so-called "capabilities"**. I will **reveal** it in this article so keep on reading if you're interested.
Do you know **sign language?**
It is the language for **deaf** people. They use it as their **way of communication** coz no voice can be heard in their mouth.
And proudly, I can say, I know how to communicate to deaf people with their language.
I was one of the **volunteers** in sign language. We help deaf people to learn their language.
Some of them don't have the right amount of money to pay for schooling. Schools for deaf people charge a **massive amount of money**. That's reasonable coz deaf people are not easy to teach. You need a lot **more patience** when educating them.
But as I observe, they are **diligent** when it comes to learning.
In our place, we're using **FSL** *(Filipino Sign Language)*. Sign language has different types. There's an **ASL** *(American Sign Language)*, **CSL** *(Chinese Sign Language)*, **LSF** *(French Sign Language)*, and many more. Every type has a different way of communicating.
**FSL** is more on **natural signs**. Deaf people, especially the deaf who's **not educated**, can understand **natural signs** rather than the actual sign that's been taught in school. But before that, we need to teach them the sign language alphabet.
To teach them with it, we need to at least **memorize** it. And let them **copy** the **sample hands** that are in the paper. We're giving them their copy, and let them review it before bedtime. We also give them an **assignment**, which is to memorize it before we came back. And you know what? **Deaf people** are really **smart**. They can memorize it if you told them to do so. Also, they need to memorize their name. They need to know how to spell it using the sign language alphabet. A lot of patience on this part, as deaf people got **annoyed** especially the **kids**, for **repetitions**. We also teach them to **write their names**, to **draw** a simple house, tree, sea, cloud, etc.
Little by little they can learn. Other people want also to learn sign language as it is so **cool** to see. People can **communicate without talking**. Some of my friends talk by just seeing each other's hands. Some can discuss and talk even they're in a **distance**. That's the **advantage of sign language**.
Sign language also requires a **facial expression**.
We need to learn how to have a **happy** face, a **sad** face, an **angry** face, and a **thinking** face. It needs to **complement your sign**. For example, you're telling us a story about **happy moments**. Of course, you need to reveal your **happy face** instead of the angry or sad face. That's the only way, deaf people can **understand** what your discussing. They also said that the more you're **getting uglier** or changing your facial expression, **the better** way that the deaf people will understand. So in sign language, we need to **remove our shyness**, just to help the deaf people and communicate to them well.
Sign language is hard to learn if you don't have the **right motivation** to do so. For me, **love** and **pity** come first on the list. It demands me to **help deaf people**. In that way, I studied hard just to help them. Just to teach them. And join the **world of silence**.
By the way, this is one of the deaf people I was teaching.
She's Joan. This deaf is so smart. She finishes **high school** that's why she knows a lot of signs.
We're using our time, **one day in a week**... Just to help them.
That's possible when **Covid-19 is not yet existing**. But now, it limits our way of helping. This pandemic affects a lot of activities. But it's okay, as long as we're still alive and healthy.
`Tip: If you meet some deaf, make sure to communicate with them naturally. And let them feel that they're normal people like us. They also want to be independent, so let them do things that they can.`

Wanted: Travel buddy
**Traveling** is one of our **best escapes** from stress. It can give us **time to relax**, **time to enjoy** nature, and **time to use our energy** with our friends and loved ones.
This pandemic limits us from doing such. It demands us to **stay at home**, know the **barriers** with other people, and spend time doing things with the **four-sided wall**.
But let me help you to travel to one place without spending a penny, or even walking a distance. Just **scroll this story** and enjoy seeing nature with our faces. 😂
**Bambusetum Park**
This place is called **Bambusetum Park** because as you can see, it is **composed of bamboos**, different kinds of bamboos literally. This is such a beautiful view for those who **love nature**. You can see **green in every corner**. In this place, you can learn that bamboos have different types. When I was a kid, I thought bamboo has just one kind. Just a bamboo, plain bamboo. But in this park... It introduced different varieties. And we enjoyed learning their names. There's a **painted bamboo**, **black bamboo**, **dragon head bamboo**, and an **umbrella bamboo**. Every name has its definition how the bamboo looks like.
**For couples**
This park also is a good way for people who **want to date**. 😂 We visited this park when we want to have a moment with each other.
This place is a **good area for love birds**. Enjoying quality time while enjoying nature. You'll fall in love all over again. LOL.
**For flower lover**
This place also consists of **sunflowers** 🌻... We enjoyed taking pictures with them. It instantly creates beautiful background without much effort.

**For prenup shoots**
This park is open also for those people who want a **prenuptial shoot**. We held our prenuptial here... Take my images for example. 😅
This is one of the two ways **entrance** in this park. This is a **hanging bridge** made of bamboos. This time, it is designed beautifully as if they know we will use this as a prenup background. Looks like we're getting married at that moment. We're not kissing on that scene. Just overlooking each other face to face. 😂
Next, there's a **wishing well**.
Take us as a model for now. 😂 This **well** is designed for those people who want to make a wish with just **coins**. A **lot of coins** can be seen at the bottom of that well. It means many people make a wish and hoping it will be granted soon.
Following is the **green hill** at the front of this park.
That hill gives a **refreshing view**. It adds to the clean surroundings as the grass was trimmed off. It has also a **big red heart** at the top. This was designed last February, for those who are celebrating Valentines. It suits the prenup shoots as well.
By the way, this is my **family**... Mom and Dad at the right side, my handsome husband and me at the center, and my two siblings at the left side. They are the ones who help us at that time. It won't be successful without them. That's why I love them dearly.
**Sculptures**
This park also is designed with **sculptures**. **Birds** for example.
This adds to the **"nature effect"** of this park. Mr.Owl, the upside-down bird, and the drinker. 🤭
**Lights at night**
At night, you will also enjoy the **lights** here. This park gets **more colorful** as the sun hides.
This is the **walkway** to the bamboo plantation. You will not get lost in the **darkness** of this park. It **lights** the way, as you can see. 😁 A lot of people went there before the pandemic season. We also love spending our time there. Say hi to my sister. 😂
There's also a **green tree** at the top of the hill. Some are **red** too. 👇🏽

You know why? This noodle is flavored with a **squid**. That's why it gets **black**. This is one of the **trendy noodles** in our area as it is new to people and eating a black noodle is **fascinating**. 😅

Start growing your food at home
How good are you when it comes to eating? I'm sure you love eating delicious foods as it tastes so well. What's your **favorite food**? And **how much money** do you spend to buy it?
Every year, food products became higher and higher when it comes to **fees** or **payments**. In our place, **vegetables** range from **70 PHP** to **120 PHP**. **Fruits** range from **30 PHP** to **200 PHP**. It varies depending on the season. But buying food is certainly **costly**. It will make your wallet look pitiful after.
But, did you know that **you can save your money from buying some food**? Precisely, you can start growing your food at home.
**Pandemic advantages**
This pandemic teaches us, people, to use our time wisely and productively. On my end... My Mom and brother use their time planting different kinds of veggies. They enjoy doing it, while I was just happy for their productivity. 😅 I'm not that hardworking when it comes to planting, so my job is cooking and eating. 👏🏽 By the way, I don't know the feeling of **excitement** that time when it comes to planting and what it feels when it grows. While my brother and Mom always **boasted** about their plant and how it grew so well. I **didn't appreciate** it that much coz I'm not budgeting money for our everyday needs. I just know that we can get something in our backyard when we need something to cook. That's a **great help** indeed. And I know a lot of you also did that this pandemic season. I saw a lot of pictures on Facebook and other social media accounts of how things work so well this pandemic, especially when it comes to planting.
**How I started planting**
Now that I was the one budgeting money for our food, I can see how it **benefits** us a lot when we have **plants in our backyard**. The only thing you need is soil, seed, and water. Sunlight is free. Then it will grow shortly.
I started planting last month, **March** to be exact. I just try to fulfill what my husband asks me to do. We get seeds from the veggies scrap, dry them, and plant it accordingly.
I watered it every day. Twice a day, morning and late afternoon. Time passes by but it doesn't grow. No sign of prospering. Just plain soil. I got a little hesitant at first if it will grow, coz just like what I stated I'm not a person who loves planting. But still, I watered it consistently. Morning and afternoon.
5 days have passed, it sprouted. 😍 Do you know the feeling of having a new member of a family? It's like I created a baby. It's my first time planting and I was so **happy** when it grew. I cannot explain how happy I was. But it's **worth the wait**.
This is the **first sprout**. I took a picture of it coz I feel **so proud** of myself. 😁 That day, 2 sprouts germinated. I planted it **in a can** by the way. It's the only available area for new plants. Day has passed, still watering it twice a day then another can produce its sprout.
So I have **three seed buds** now. But it doesn't end there. Finally, another seed bloomed. Here it is. 👇🏽
**3 cans out of 5 cans** succeeded. I was happy and didn't expect I can plant too. 😅
**What I learn in planting**
This is the best part about planting. I am a person who loves learning simply. Planting helps me realize one thing: **"Be consistent and have faith."** Why did I end up with this statement? Well, like what I experience... My seed grew after 5 days. While some people who planted, see the result after 2 days or 3. If I will compare, mine was different. I nearly surrender. But I'm happy I didn't. Also, it doesn't grow one at a time. Everything has its own time. Every other day I think was the gap. But still, it blooms. It doesn't matter which comes first, or who did last. What matters is they grow.
Same with life. There comes a time when we saw how other people **become successful** in their lives. Some became successful at a **young age**. At that time, maybe **we feel down**. Coz we're comparing our **growth**. But just like the seed, if you keep on watering it, and have faith in it, someday, it will grow. Just be consistent and have belief.
Also, maybe you're in a situation where you **already achieve** what you wanted. You're too happy with what you succeed in. But what we didn't know after it, a **lot of opportunities** open. It's like the 2 cans that grow the next day. You're happy with just one blessing, but a lot more one after another.
This also teaches me to **be consistent on this platform**. I can see that a lot of **good authors** received **good tips and upvotes**. Well, they deserve it as what I observe. But if I keep on writing, like watering myself every day. I know one day I will grow and grow and grow. This is just the **beginning**. Maybe I'm just on the first day of watering. Can't wait to see the result after 5 days. 😁
Anyways, say hi to them now as I transferred them to the backyard.
They are growing so well and face the reality. Transferring them to the **real world** is like putting them in an **open opportunity**. I like comparing my life to this plant. LOL. Well, the can was so small for them to grow. And they wouldn't grow on that as you can imagine. But putting them in a **broad backyard** can help them get the **right nutrients** and **grow freely**. So compared again to our lives, **don't be afraid to try something new** or **putting yourself in a different situation** or **new opportunity**. Instead, view yourself as a plant that needs a lot more nutrients to sustain life and grow more where the opportunity is wide open.
**My plant today**
Because of the successful plantation 😅, I am now convinced that I can plant seeds that grow shortly. **Bitter gourd** became successful. So the next seed that I planted is the **squash** and **bottle gourd**.
Sorry for the can. 😅 It got so dirty as time passes by. 5 cans I used for the seeds but as usual, only 3 grow. I don't know what's happening to the 2 always. 🙄 Anyway, just like the bitter gourd... I will soon transfer this to the backyard. Let them live their life to the fullest. LOL.

The hairbrush
**Warning: This article is an appreciation statement.**
I just want to feature my **"Lola"** or grandmother in this manuscript. As I read @Yen 's story about her grandma's situation, I got the idea to tell you a story about my Lola.
Grandma is still alive and kicking. 🤭 Honestly, she doesn't want us to call her an old one. She got angry every time we do. Her body is very active, as an adult one. Even though she's a **senior citizen**, we can't see that age on her. She's **too energetic**, **can walk faster** than us, **can dance** but not a professional one, **can sing**. 😂 Yeah. She's so **talented** actually.
On the night of my **bridal shower**, all of them gave me a gift. And my Lola also gave me one. Guess what's her gift? **A hairbrush. 😊**
This is the **actual hairbrush**, which I use **every night** before bed. I made an effort for its pictorial as it will be featured here. 😂
It's **not too expensive** to be appreciated but what makes it **special** is the explanation why she gave that to me. I was her **first apo or granddaughter to be married**. And she got excited for knowing that. As she gave me the gift, she said that it's so important to have a hairbrush as a wife. And she asks me what's the use of it. I said, **"to make your hair beautiful."** Simple isn't it? But she added more, **"this hairbrush has a lot of benefits. Not just to make our hair beautiful, but also to make our whole body healthy."** She's a reflexologist for a long time and a health-conscious one, so she knows a lot about human health. She also explains that I should use it every night before going to bed. **100 brush** on my scalp. (Sorry Lola, I'm lazy on counting 😂). She said it can release natural oils on our scalp and makes the hair healthier. It can also make our body healthy, as it massages the scalp. She said it's her secret why she's still healthy at the age of **80**. And yeah I can see that on her. My aunties want her to stop working and let them support her needs. But my Lola doesn't want that idea. She said staying in the house can make her sick and weak. She wants to help people through reflex. And that is what's happening. She can still save money, pay for her needs, help her children in the time of shortage. She wants me to be like her. Healthier as I get older.

Yeah, she's good at facial expression too. 😂

Day off feels
As I open my eyes, I saw a man beside me. He's busy with his cellphone and already wide awake. It all started this day with complete rest. Why? It's my **day off**. So I spend more time in bed than on normal days of work. This time, I woke up at **7 am**. And I spend my first minute outside, with the sun that could brighten up my day and give me energy for the rest of the day.
As you can see, it's so refreshing. Clear blue sky, greenery... Ooh, how I love it! This is not the usual view that I normally see since I was a kid. I was married for almost **3 months** now, and here's where we are staying now.
After that, I visited my babies. It is located on the 2nd floor. **Who are they?** Please see the picture below. 👇🏽
Yeah. That's my **baby**. I planted this **last week** and it evolves now. I love planting nowadays, as it can be a source of food shortly. By the way, this is **squash** and **bottle gourd**. I just planted it in a can and will soon transfer it to the backyard.
I watered it and visited other plants too that I planted first before them. It is the **bitter gourd**. It is my first time planting so I got so much excited when it grows. And here's what so manageable: **it develops by just watering them daily**.
And now, let's move to another task. As a wife, it's my job to buy food and stuff. I am also the one who's in charge of budgeting. That's why... To budget money properly... I usually take note of the things that I need to buy. Here's what I noted this day.
It helps me to buy just the thing that I need and assists me not to forget whatever stuff that we need.
Here's what we bought today:
Yeah. We're just two who will spend this food this week. And it cost almost **1,500 PHP**. Food and stuff are not that cheap.
Now let's move to **cuisine**. As a wife, it is also my job to cook. Lots of chores, isn't it? It's fine. As long as your husband is helping you.
I bought some lettuce today. And it's so fresh. 😍
And if there's lettuce, I always think of **samgyupsal** as a menu. So that what happens. Also, I am craving some **bistek** (Filipino beef steak). So instead of grilled pork, I cook bistek as an alternate. And here's how it looks like.
I sliced it bite-size so it can be put to lettuce. And here's what we eat this lunch:
**Lettuce + Scrambled egg + Bistek + Cucumber** = **Samgyupsal ala Mayt 😂**
This must be a **cooking blog**. 😂
Now let's put something in lettuce and wrap it all... Let's go.
