There's no Superior in Success

Has anyone asked you what course you take in college then when they know that you pursue that specific course, they will respond " Why did you get that course instead of that or that? You know your smart but you only get an inferior course". It just sad to think that it seems that they already view success through pursuing a known courses like Engineering, Accountancy or Medicine. It seems that success could only be attain if you take that specific course. They think that those courses is superior among to other courses. What's their basis? Salary? A famous course? Or a demand of that job? They already vanished the idea that success depends on the person; to his hardwork, passion and perseverance.

I don't believe that there's a superior in success because I know that you also know someone that didn't finished his study but still, he became successful on his chosen path. In fact, I believe that any courses need a student effort because if you didn't exert anything, you will not learn something. Pursuing a course is very challenging maybe some people didn't see it because student know how to manage the stress properly. And what I relate it is when people used the word " lang" on someone's achievement. For example, someone graduated as Cumlaude but instead of congratulating her, some said " It's because your course is like that. Business Administration lang kase yan". I don't get where there audacity came from. Did they really know how much case study and business reports that they do every semester just to have a passing grades. Same goes other courses, I believe that they also face the same struggles with it. You know what , sometimes even though that you are so proud on your chosen course, suddenly your confidence will gradually down because of that word " lang". We should not used that word because it can affect to someone emotionally.

I also stumbled on a certain post earlier where in a office man degrading a farmer because of his job. For the man, the farmer is so pitiful because he always need to go in the farm, looks dirty because of the mud and too much sweat because a farmer needs to work under the sun while the office man is just chilling on the air-conditioned office facing paper works. I believe that both of them have a difficult job but in different aspects. But I don't like the idea of the office man in degrading the farmer because he thinks that his work environment is better than to the farmer's land. But he was surprised when he discovered how successful the farmer was. In fact, the farmer is also the new owner of the land where the house of the office man located. I guess the office man underestimate the ability of the farmer to the point that he didn't know that the one he talked is the new land owner of their house. This illustration is one of the best proof that course should not a basis for success because any of us can be a successful whatever course we take. It's a matter of being hardwork and patience.

That's also the reason why I write this one, to remind everyone that we should not based someone's success just because of the career she choose to take. There's actually a lot of factor that can affect to success. On the other hand, I also want to remind you that we should not be overconfidence about ourselves to the point that we underestimate other people's status and achievement. Maybe it's a little for you but it's already big for them. And most of all, don't used the word " lang" to justified that your position is superior than them because it's actually not a good idea to do so. So be humble always even you already achieve the success that you dream of.

Greetings!!

Good evening dreamers!! How's your Monday? I hope that you are not totally drain and you still able to have some walk to take a deep breath. As for me, it's a bit exhausting because I accompanied my Mom to do so errands. My back still attacking me but I think I guess need to rest it, maybe I sleep early. Enjoy the rest of the night dreamers and if you have are too tired, take a rest early okay?

Success doesn't required degrees or diplomas but it requires consistency, willingness, and perseverance.

That's one toxic mentality few Filipinos have. And often it springs from hate and insecurity. We fail to praise others because we know in our hearts that we haven't achieved anything yet. A truly successful person would clap at other people's success.
