Those who embrace cancel culture are far from democratic. Instead, they are virtue signaling fascists embroiled in self-hatred and the clinical denial of the truth. When you find yourself (or your group or social media profile) being attacked by the woke mob, do not stand down. I repeat, do not apologize. Fight back!
Apologizing legitimizes the mob's self-righteous feigned outrage and self-deputized moral authority. Mocking them or pointing out their logical fallacies is the best way to get the mob to back down, especially if done publicly. This is because it instantly triggers the mob's raging insecurity, thus sending them spiraling further down into the face-saving psychosis they've indulged to justify their unjustifiable depravity as part of the degenerate mob of moral frauds.
The daily fake legacy media of the world embraces cancel culture. It has crippled comedians, sports figures, television and film actors, politicians, and even us plebes of the world. Don't become a victim of the woke mob; be a warrior and push back. Hard!
Apologizing does not work
Imagine you're 30 or 50 years old. Something you may have said, written or put on video years ago could cost you your job and social status in contemporary society. The woke mobsters feign outrage to push their Marxist or far left ideological garbage to further extremes, to the detriment of all, inclusive of themselves, and all in a feeble attempt to cling to their self-importance. If you relent and apologize to these characters, you have lost, not only immediately, but anything you say or write now will be scrutinized by the mob going forward.
The woke mob is relentless. They have been brainwashed by their respective (but not respected) Marxist university professors. Modern education is a polite euphemism for indoctrination. The mob has flipped the proverbial script. Students are regurgitating what the professor wants them to believe. If you challenge these fascists, you likely won't get the grade you should have earned. Even so, stand firm and stand for the truth.
Tactics of the woke mob
You must recognize the mob's tactics and respond accordingly. These wokesters are self-loathing and are easily offended, so their weakness is evident. Exploit it! You see, the woke crowd typically uses various logical fallacies. There are numerous logical fallacies, but the more common are ad hominem attacks, red herrings, the slippery slope and and the mob appeal fallacy.
An ad hominem attack is not an argument but rather an attack on your person. In Latin, ad hominem means "against the person." For example, the woke mob may criticize your skin color as privileged, attack your weight, looks and/or personality. Ad hominem attacks distract from the real issue at hand. Point this out to a woke individual and they will go berserk or switch gears and implement another logical fallacy.
Usually, if you stand your ground and the woke mobster is offended, the logical fallacy of the "slippery slope" comes into play. It is easily recognized by the person's faulty emotions and histrionic behavior (what we would call exaggerated drama). When you observe this, fight back more! The only way to discourage the woke gangsters is to play on their emotions and send them into a frenzy. Most will back off at this point and retreat to their safe space with their emotional support unicorn or whatever animal placates their deep-seated insecurities.
The red herring logical fallacy is also a typical tactic of the woke crowd. They simply and deliberately diverge from the issue at hand and make an attempt to lead you astray. For example, you may deny climate change because of its past promises of the world coming to an end. The mob might come back with something like: "Well, sure, the world won't end, but (and here's the rub) if we don't do something to promote green energy, look at all the people who won't have jobs!"
Do you see what happened here? The person went south and off topic, focusing on jobs rather than the initial lies of climate change hoaxers. Be sure to point out to the mob their logical fallacy and bring them back to the point.
How to fight back
As my boyfriend says about the self-deprecating woke crowd: "Get in their grill!" What he means is that, unlike me, one should not point out the mob's logical fallacy, but instead steer the person back to the topic with a firm and logical reply. This is indeed a proper course in argument or debate. What he does I don't necessarily do. He gets "in their grill" in a calm manner which in turn tends to infuriate the woke crowd all the more.
On the other hand, I like to point out the logical fallacy and state something like: "What logical argument are you able to make for your case?"
Both work. The point is to stand firm, fight back, and never apologize for your beliefs if they represent the truth. The truth, like mathematics, is not subjective. Now if you are not arguing the truth, you have no foundation to stand on and are wrong going into an argument or debate.
Go woke...
...go broke. We've all heard that pithy phrase. And it's true. Virtue signaling and politically correct ideologies meet more resistance than the truth and thus alienate the majority. One need only look at the failing NBA, NFL, Coca-Cola, and other major corporations that have lost billions of revenue for the proof.
In closing, I'll leave the reader with this: The woke mob that is angry with you for speaking the truth are the very ones living a lie. Expose their lies.
