I Failed On My First Try But I Succeeded On My Second Try.
I mentioned in my previous article that my Facebook account was hacked and this has been the cause of my stress for the past two weeks. I'm so obsessed to recover that account because my Facebook account is also connected to different platforms.
I also mentioned in my previous article that I was also scammed because of my intense desire to get my Facebook account back. Actually, during those times, I had no other thought but to get that and I no longer thought to remember the more important things and people around me. I am with my grandmother, friends, aunts and my mother in this battle. I lost my appetite for the things I used to do. Actually, I was supposed to write an article on the afternoon of **July 19, 2021** but when I opened my Facebook application, Facebook messenger application and Facebook lite where my accounts were opened, a notification **"Logging out"** appeared. It just means I can't access my account at that time. I also tried to put the requirements in the **'Forgot Password'** section in the app but the email was different to the email I bind to my account before. The hacker changed my email to **"hotmail"**. I just cried over what happened and called my mother. Due to my anxiety, I chose to rest and sleep for a while because I had not slept that day because I had just retrieved my requirements that day. About my experience with scamming, I'd better to not reveal the full details about it because I don't want to reminisce what happened. Just keep in mind that if we feel suspicious movements and unreliable activities of someone, we should not continue so that we do not perish. Yes. *I failed in my first attempt* to talk to a fake **"specialist"** but *I succeeded when I trusted* the real IT specialist. Before I talked to him, I first talked to my mother and asked for another chance because I felt that he could help me this time. He is **Jed Capili**.
I ask for permission to him first before I included him in this article. He said that this would be a great help for him and for his team. I also want to repay him because he got my full trust and I only trust him with my accounts so far. If ever someone comes to me to ask who can retrieve their account, I can only point out him because he is already one of the ones I trust. I just learned from this incident was to wait. Because of my greedy nature and haste to get my account, I was even more doomed. But when I endured and waited Kuya Jed, I got what I wanted and needed. I learned to wait for the consequences of my decision. Above all, I am grateful to my mother because she did not leave me in the hard time that I faced lately. She didn't let me fall when I was out of balance even when I wasn't with her. Thanks also to my family and friends for their support and assistance to me. It's not just a small thing for me because it's my identity online. I'm glad that my account has been restored and recovered. I will keep it and I have also installed the authentication codes so that in case something goes wrong, I can fix my account with myself. Yes ate iingatan ko na sya tulad ng pag-iingat ko sa kanya noon. HAHAHA Btw, tinry ko din po ate na iclick after ko makita itong comment mo na ito, ayaw nga po. But yan po yung infos na binigay at pinost ni kuya Jed after nya mabawi yung acc ko po e. Pero nasa taas naman na po ng mga link yung Facebook accounts at pages na maari pong i-contact natin. Atsaka, papadami na din ng words ate actually. HAHAHA
Kaya po nillocked ko yung Profile ko sa Fb eh, iba kasi ang mga ugali ng mga tao doon, baka matiyempuhan pa ako at gamitin ang details ko sa pang scam ng tao hays
Yes, tama ka. Actually after mahack nung account ko na iyon, gumawa ako ng bago. Then nilock ko na yon para sure na hindi na makuhanan ng infos tapos nung maretrive ko yung main account ko, nilock ko na din para hindi na maulit. Nilagyan ko na din ng 2FA protection.
Jed Capili seems familiar. Maybe I saw his name on the group of Philippine Hacking University where I am also a member. Anyway, that's great that you've found the right person that can help you with ur account. May siningil ba silang fees or libre lang?
Ahh yes. Admin sya sa group na yon based don sa description nya. I think need ko na din sumali don para makasagap naman ako ng balita at knowledge pa about that matter. 😅 Thank you! Ano po ung authentication code na nilalagay? sa Facebook ba mismo makikita un? nakakatakot tlaga mahack-an ng account ngayon kase madaming nakaconnect na ibang sites sa fb ko, need na tlsga dobleng pagiingat.
Yung sa two-factor authentication yon bro. Makikita sa security and log-in sa settings. Mas maganda ito kasi bago ka mag-log in sa ibang device or kahit sa mismong device mo, need mo muna ilagay yung code na magsesend sa number or email na nakabind sa account then may magnonotif din sayo kung mayroon mang ibang device na nag-log in yung account mo.
Buti na recover mo. Yung sa ate ko din may nang hack na ng ilang beses sa fb nya pero buti nalang mabilis nyang nalaman kaya di pa napapalitan yung mga email.
