Self-healing, to be strong in facing life's problems that occur

Hello, my beautiful friends. Welcome back to my article today. In this article, I will discuss Self-healing. Very often we treat pain by taking drugs from a doctor's prescription. Even before we get sick, we prevent disease by consuming vitamins so that the body's immunity increases. But, how do we heal inner wounds? Can you just take medicine? Maybe we can take care of our teeth, eyes, skin, and body so we don't get sick. But, can we also take care of our thoughts and feelings so that there is no inner wound?

Maybe many of us still store past emotions and memories in our subconscious. In psychology, this is called unfinished business. Although we can drown our emotions and memories in the subconscious, these emotions and memories can come back to the surface of the conscious mind. In everyday life, negative emotions often arise from our memories so that we feel sad, angry, regretful, etc. Even if we can ignore these negative emotions, they will become a ticking time bomb that will explode at some point. As a result, our inner mood will become increasingly messy.

Everyone must have been a victim of life. We must have received pressure and insults from friends, been bullied because of our body shape, to harsh treatment from our partners. Feelings of anger, sadness, disappointment, and fear will be stored in our hearts. However, we can heal these negative feelings ourselves, because we all have the therapeutic ability or power to heal ourselves. We are all capable of creating a peaceful mood so that we don't have to fall into painful situations. One way is to forgive everything that has ever hurt us.

When we know and do healing of inner wounds on ourselves, then this is called Self-healing, or the process of healing inner wounds with the power of ourselves to rise and let go of the suffering we feel. Self-healing will help us to recognize negative thoughts and feelings that are trapped inside of us. After that, we can unravel one by one every problem that is a burden in our thoughts and feelings. The goal of self-healing is to better understand ourselves.

We must be able to accept the imperfections of the life we ​​live and form positive thoughts from every situation. This is the essence of the Self-healing process. In this way, we can control our emotions and turn our chaotic feelings into more meaningful ones. We may be faced with the same problem again, which makes us feel sad, disappointed, and angry. With our power that has mastered Self-healing, we can turn events that happen again into something meaningful.

The purpose of self-healing is to shape our personality to be Resilience or a person who can accept every problem of difficulty, failure, to tragedy in life (amorfati). We can be strong and tough to face life's tests, we are also able to be firm in defining the problems of life that we run. That way, we can be more existent in the family, friendship, and work environment. When we have been able to heal ourselves, then we can see every problem that occurs from a wider perspective.

I read a book of Joseph Marphy in this regard. The name of that book was the power of your subconscious mind. There he argued like you have. We can heal our pain and become happy in life by thinking positively.

Very interesting. In my opinion, Zen is one of the more complex ways of Self-healing. Whatever form of emotion and thought that arises, it is enough to observe and be aware of it. Zen leads us to recognize the deepest side of who we really are. By recognizing this innermost element of ourselves, we can embrace whatever comes and happens with peace. It is at this point that we truly make peace with ourselves.
