Ambivalences of a society in crisis.

We all know that Venezuela is immersed in the worst of situations, from the economic, political and social point of view, a situation that has led the country to despair, suffering and even abandonment. Until a few months ago still some gesture in mansi padora of young people kept hope in our country, the figure of Juan Guaidó at some point represented a hope, but the picture has changed and has become much more complicated in the midst of the global pandemic.

Fear from every point of view, social unprotection and lack of security in the field of health are every day the most alarming news, in addition it is a country that was rich and today does not even have supplies, gasoline or any kind of production.

Indeed Venezuela needs a magic wand, some formula that allows it to restore at once so many things and mistakes that were committed in the historical moments that were a key part of the stability of the nation, but as we must be realistic there is no such magic wand and no formula, then the Venezuelan and emigrated and the Venezuelan who is still inside the country are left to face the harsh situation of having to face our heritage of our homeland cut off.

The question obviously is what can we do?

The answer is that many young people continue to look to the borders and other lands for a future, it is neither simple nor encouraging, nobody wants to leave their home or their loved ones, much less the comfort of their place, so we cannot judge these young people because they are not libertines, much less adventurers, they are simply survivors who are looking for a future in another country that Venezuela cannot give them at this moment.

It is easy to judge without living through the rifts of a country that is broken in its freedom, in a country that gives us fear because anything could be serious.

Many people have already gone through different moments in the democratic struggle, at the beginning perhaps they were part of those people who constantly protested, who defended an opposition that perhaps they believed to be just, perhaps at this moment they are part of the Venezuelans who are disappointed because the opposition leadership today receives our countries. Most of those who have been leaders are comfortably living abroad, they do not have gasoline problems, they do not have health problems, and ironically they are even vaccinated for the pandemic crisis, in our land in Venezuela even the simple fact of a vaccine which is a humanitarian right has become a deadly draw, a small percentage has only been vaccinated, there is still a lot of population missing and meanwhile the chaos and despair continues to grow, the only thing that Venezuelans have to their credit is infinite faith.

I am sure that in every house, in every family, in every month or every day there is a prayer for the country, at some point I thought that even from the Chavista leadership there could be some kind of miracle for Venezuela, but they have only shown their interests, hope is that God can do everything and sees everything, and although I do not wish evil to anyone I think that everyone will like at some point their accounts.

Venezuela is a country that currently lives in a huge social ambivalence, and the local currency has become the international dollar, and while many have everything others lack even food, but there are also good people, some who reach out, who campaign for those who do not have, because in the world there is everything.

Many times I wrote to you with the hope that some international organization would read my letters, perhaps to protest or as part of my nationality that drives me to shout what is happening in my country, sometimes I remained silent, but I keep writing trying to make reflect in some way to everyone I can reach.

I am sure that by the divine intervention of God, and by the faith of many angels who will fight for the country one day Venezuela will re-emerge as the thriving country it was. And I say amen to my own words because that is what I want to believe.

If I have to say goodbye to my country, I will do so, but I will always carry it in my soul. And every night and every day while I am here I will continue to pray for the wisdom of those who can save us, and for each one of us to do our bit.

I hope in Almighty God that every Venezuelan will keep his culture in his heart, but not the bad one of the "viveza criolla", the good one that helps without expecting anything in return, the one of the Venezuelan who loves, who is sincere, honest and hardworking.

Venezuela in the name of God I declare you free and sovereign.

It's the dream of all of us, to have a free Venezuela. And that the children of our country can be reunited with their families. May God grant it in the very, very near future.
