Salary and mindset
Transitioning into working population of country and increase in headcount of those earning in family brings in a lot of pride and responsibilities. This is a phase which teaches you what you never knew while spending mom and dad's money. It will inculcate in you sense of controlled expense which was never there. Suddenly, a person like us who never had second thoughts before buying anything will stop and think, is this even important to buy right now. Suddenly, what others need will become priority and not what use might want for ourselves.
***Some major changes which I observed in myself since I started earning*** :
I buy things after a reasoning process regarding why I need it and is it even important, or buying it is futile.
Though my family is well off, I still think of contributing as much as I can in household expenses.
I have this urge of buying things for my family.
I rarely spend on myself apart from eating outside.
I often plan as to how much should I spend in starting days of month. It's like I spend good amount in the beginning, go at a really slow pace in mid of month and finally I spend nicely again when the month end is there
***Shift in mindset and reason*** :
Everyone mostly take themselves in picture only when they are not earning. Since mom and dad are taking care of everyone's needs and expenses in the family, we never get exposure to look into that domain. We have only wanted things so far and then we request them for it so as to acquire them. Therefore when it comes to thinking before earning, we think of ourselves only.
Soon as we start earning, we learn about what others want. Your sibling might expect something from you and it's your duty to buy them that thing. Also, we sure are thankful to parents for making us capable enough for this day and now, every burden of theirs is our to share. We want them to be happy and enjoying later years of their life. They surely have made many sacrifices to see the day when we finally **"stand on our own feet" and now that it's done, it's there right to have some laid back years with minimal effort and maximized joy.** In my case also, comfort of everyone who got me here is the biggest factor why I am not me centric now while spending whatever little I make.
There is this thing also that we don't want to ask parents for our own expenses anymore as we are independent. Being independent means we are gonna pay up for our small friends meetup, clothing, fuel, cravings, doctor visits etc etc. Whenever we go out to some relative's place, it's our responsibility now to get something on our own. Sense of independence and living up to it is also a reason.
***What I have learnt so far*** :
I am a fresher to earning and spending. So far I have learnt that :
Spending after a reasoning process is good.
Being independent is great and you also need to check on your habits so as to be efficient in spending.
Well being and happiness of near and dear ones is must and investing capital on them brings happiness.
Checking on expenses is good. Keep track of good and bad investments and learn from them.
It's generous to give money to needy ones striving hard to make a living, begging.
Invest your money on stocks, crypto etc if it is sitting idle in you accounts but learn properly about them first.
Being independent is a responsibility also. You have to be cautious of many things, **one of them is arrogance which should never take hold of you.**
***An emotional para*** :
It's not related to salary but simply an aspect related to any sort of success be it small or big. When you achieve something, you want those who cared about you like anything to be a part of it and want to do something for them too. It's all about people and relations. **As for me, my grandma is the one I miss like anything. She always blessed me with elderly praises and it was like god talking to me myself. She always would say that you will become a super successful person some day and now when I could gift her something of my own proudly, she is gone.**
**Life is about people to a fair extent and whether you are in process or are done with it, never make those upset and be there for them who really are putting their best of efforts into your wellbeing in various ways.**

Festival of Lights : A post out of screenshots
Festive season in India is going on right now and we are celebrating our pious Deepawali week which is one of the biggest festivals observed on this land. Entire country is synchronized in the colorful lights and harmony.
Deepawali is a festival of victory of goodness and courage over darkness. It was the day when Lord Rama saved Mother Sita from Ravana and came back to Ayodhya. Lord Rama is considered as the embodiment of a perfect man. He is given the title of **"Purushottam" meaning the best of all the men in qualities.**
He defeated Ravana who had captured Mother Sita(his soulmate) by conspiracy and had held her captive in Lanka. Shri Rama went to Lanka with a huge army of warriors and killed him to conquer victory of love.
All of India gets decorated like a queen and people do all the cleaning and painting work at their places. It is observed as a festival of colors and lights and everyone likes to acquire new assets and buy new things when festive week is there. Before deepawali, we celebrate a day called **Dhanteras** and on that day, it is considered shubh to buy something new. Everyone buys something new as a symbol of prosperity for themselves.
To give you a glimpse of how our country looks like in the colors of this celebrations, I decided to make a post out of whatsapp status screenshots and some pictures captured be me. Hope you all will enjoy them.
Above is beautiful deepak rangoli made by my girl. She decorated her pooja(worship place) with small oil lamps. I am not even 1 percent creative of what she is. I really liked this one and therefore chose it as a starter for my post. Hope you liked it.
This is a beautiful diya arrangement for diwali. You will witness many of these beautiful creations in every house of India if you visit us during this joyous week. On the eve of diwali, these decors are on there peak and I can't tell you the level of creativity people put in them.
The above is a picture of Srinagar garhwal India. It's lit by beautiful lights on the occasion of deepawali.
Above is a picture of God Ganesha and Goddess Laxhmi whose worship is done on the diwali eve in every family of India. Ganesha is worshipped before starting any good work in Hindu religion and Laxhmi is considered the goddes of wealth and prosperity.
You will find every nook and cranny of India covered with these lights. You might have seen the image of India on diwali from space station post on insta pages. You can guess the extent of our happiness through this decoration only. I really love these lights and its my all time favorite festival.
Crackers have their own importance. These are in the memory of Shri Rama returning back to Ayodhya after conquering victory over Ravana. People celebrate with crackers to welcome back lord on his birthplace. It's a really loud welcome in Indian style.
Entire India is lit in beautiful colors during the festival week and deepak have their own importance. People love to meet and greet and share sweets. Happy vibes are there all through the week and people get time from their busy lives to celebrate cozily with their families.
Before finishing, I would also love to tell you about other festive days we observe in this week :
3th nov :- Deepawali
4th nov :- Deepawali
5th nov :- Govardhan pooja
6th nov :- Bhaiyadooj
Govardhan pooja is a worship done in memory of when Lord Krishna saved people by lifting Govardhan mountain on his pinky finger and Bhaiya dooj is a festival of a brother promising her sister all the protection and a celebration of lovely bond between them. You can read more on them on google.
I hope you like the little glimpse of the bigger picture of our lives these days.
Happy diwali and thankyou so much for reading.<3
To every fella who is starting off rigorous running
Have you also put on a weight and are resolving to shred it off? If you have, cardio is gonna be you best friend for a time being. If you wanna reduce a lots of weight in a short time or are hell lot of motivated to kill that fat in you, you are surely gonna come across running. So based on my experience with the same drill, I would love to tell a things or two to you guys so you don't end up in bed after very few days of your new resolution.
****Weight bearing exercises**** **: Any explanations but the name of the activities themselves will tell you what these particular exercises are. Based on the topmost google search result, some of the really good examples of these exercises are :** walking, hiking, jogging, climbing stairs, playing tennis, and dancing.
**Where you might go wrong in practicing these?**
Weight bearing exercises needs you to work against gravity. The key to do these without injuring you body is in the technique of performing and also the rest and recovery time you are giving to your body.
***How can legs be injured doing these?***
In any of these activities, you are gonna rely a lot on your legs. Whether you are dancing or running, hiking or jumping, you gotta land on your legs. In such scenario, if you have any deficiency of calcium(check for vitamin D3 also), you will have weak bones to support you body weight. In case of a bulky body and weak legs, performing such activities can bring a toll if you don't give proper nutrition to yourself and strengthen the muscles and bones of your legs first thing before starting these.
If you are having a worn out or old shoe, please avoid running in them. If you are going to start running on a hard surface, you need to have a proper running shoe from any of the brands like Nike, Adidas, Asics, Saucony, Newbalance etc. Without a proper shoe, you will have shin splints in no time and believe me, they are so haunting.
If you have weak shin bone and you start running to loose weight with a bad shoe on hard surface, you can also get stress fracture in tibia and it is even worse.
If you are performing these exercises on a day to day basis and are not providing enough time to your body to recover from a day's impact, it will surely bring an injury home. When ever you repeatedly hit a part without giving it enough rest, it starts getting worn out and in a long run, it sustains an injury.
***A little more particularly about running*** :
Stress fracture in lower tibia and shin splints are very common and can happen with you if you :
Start running rigorously from day one.
Don't buy a proper running shoe.
Have a calcium deficiency.
Choose a hard surface for running with improper equipment.
Where splints are muscular and go away with proper rolling, stretching before and after workout and following best practices for running, stress fractures are really bad to happen to anyone and they go away with proper rest only and no weight bearing exercise for 4 to 6 weeks varying on specialist's consultation.
If you are having shin splints already, you can refer a number of good resources on youtube suggesting really good curing techniques. Some of them which I have personally seen are :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2G5WCJBpps&t=1shttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZxnb1eqLfo&t=139s
***My own case : just to warn you*** *:*
***I decided to rely on running and HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training) to loose weight and get in shape faster. I ran 2 kms on treadmill on day one but it was tiring to the soul as my weight was 75kgs. Soon I started running 2-3 kms everyday on treadmill only which comprised of inclination running, sprinting and running with weight on shoulder. My shoe was not a really good one and it was also a loose one and bigger on my feet as I was using it for an year now. I was never a big fan of running so knew a little about it. I started running and in 7-8 days, some really serious pain was there in my shin(lower tibia). Those were actually just the splints to warn me. I thought that it's just because I am not used to it and carried on with daily running. I also increased the pace of workout and started some serious cardio after it which comprised of jumping jacks, lunges and burpees also. All of this was adding more and more burden on my shin area and little did I know that the pain will not subside easily afterwards. In 20 days, I was able to drop 7-8 kgs and stopped running. Now after some 20 days of rest when my shin felt really good, I again started running but this time on a hard track with same shoes and also increased it on daily basis. I was running 4-5 kms everyday pushing myself each day and this time I was rigorously sprinting too. After running, I would do HIIT again which comprise of jumping jacks, in and outs, lunges, burpees and after a week only, I got a really bad pain in both of my shins. After diagnosis, doctor told me that I have stress fracture in them and need to rest properly now. I am still resting and pain comes back even if I walk too much.***
All of it happened to me because I didn't research well and directly picked up a new sport. Though I am agile fitness fan but I had no prior experience with running and also, I didn't stick to best practices.
***Best practices before you start any of rigorous weight bearing exercises*** *:*
Check on the technique of the exercise from various online sources available.
Buy gears and proper equipment(good shoes, bands).
Learn stretching and cooldown exercises which are to be compulsorily done before and after workout.
Take proper nutrition and I insist you to take vitamin supplements.
In case of running, choose a good trach and shin splints will be there frequently so to stay safe from them, practice rolling, icing inflammation two to three times a day or you can read from various professional's sources available online on it.
Give proper resting time to your body. Your body should have proper recovery time for every day of exercise you practice.
Just don't over do it and also, start any activity on a slow pace and gradually increase the pace. Also, your best performance shouldn't be tested on everyday basis but once or twice only in a week. ***Like if you are running and want to see how fast and far you can make it in ten minutes, you shouldn't do that daily. Just do stamina and endurance building exercises everyday which have low impact on legs and then just once or twice in a week, run to check if you are killing your milestone.***
Take expert's advice if you know any. Like a veteran runner or a fitness practitioner.
Thankyou for reading. Build a good physique and please don't injure yourself.
UV rays
Viking ----> Cod ----> Existence
Poles are very hostile to human life especially in older times when there were no comforts. Winters are longer and colder but also they are dark at poles.
As humans migrated across Europe, a strange illness emerged especially affected the children. They were born with soft and deformed bones. Some died, but those who survived had to live with the deformed bones. This condition become known as **RICKETS** in children and **OSIEOMALACIA** in adults. Doctors were powerless to cure the disease as no one knew what was the cause behind it.
Scientific evidence came into light only in 1320 during an experiment in Vienna. It was discovered that children with rickets recovered miraculously after they were regularly allowed to play outside. Scientists realized without fully understanding that the sunlight is behind the cure.
7-Dehyrocholestrol in Sunlight(UV) -------> Pre-Vitamin D3 --------> Vitamin D#
This vitamin D3 is essential for absorbing calcium ions in your kidney and calcium is important for good bones.
Above 42 degrees latitude, there isn't enough sun in winters to form this vitamin D3, hence the epidemic rickets.
**The only exception to these effects were the Vikings that occupied Norway, Denmark, and Sweden, where the sunlight is scarce** (UV index is very low). Yet they were the fighting force, hence no chances of rickets in them. Vikings reached Iceland, Greenland, and even North America.
Scandinavia Cursed by low Sunlight but the cure to rickets was swimming offshores -----> **COD**.
Cod is a great source of vitamin D. their oily flesh and particularly in their liver. 1 meal of cod with its liver can give you enough Vit.D that can last you a month. One practice that has been passed down from generation to generation is extracting oil from the cod liver was a boom for the Viking civilization. Some People noticed that Cod liver oil drinkers are healthier or their children taller and sturdier than those people who lived inland. So the cultural practice of drinking cod liver oil spread. **Humans living together observing one another and emulating works is the Proto Science.**
Vikings understood that cod oil is beneficial but not exactly how beneficial or why? That's why Greenland Vikings died as they didn't continue the cod liver oil drinking practices.
**The knowledge of the British That citrus fruits cure survey was one of the important factors why their fleet could withstand long voyages and hence occupied 32% of total land while Vikings failed.**
Changes a month's gap brought for me
Hey everyone, hope you are doing great in your lives. I took a long break of 1 month and now posting here again for my superb readers. This is just a post to take you along with me on my journey and changes in last one month. I already shared with you guys about my experience of getting selected for serving my country's airforce in previous article (https://read.cash/@DM/a-whole-different-experience-selection-for-airforce-33ec7873). Till the final result comes out after 2 phases of testing, I joined an IT company immediately after graduating in computer science's 4 year course. This post of mine basically revolves around the choices you have to make at times in your life and the intensity which these decisions bring with themselves.
***I earned for the first time being a part of an IT company*** *:*
Though my first salary was through this platform only but as a full time employee, I earned being a software engineer on 5sep 2021. It was really a joyous feeling to have been rewarded for first time in your life after completing 16 years of formal education. I was really excited to join the job and after joining, the wait for account being credited was so very real. Did a little gifting ritual with the money for my parents who have done so much for me over the years and are still the happiest person on the earth for every achievement of mine.
***Worked on my physique and got some muscles*** *:*
I have been working hard on shredding and hence achieved a healthy physique. Over a span of 2 months, I dropped off some 6kgs of fat, and developed some muscles to flex(lol). It brought a lot of mental peace to me and made me a happier person. Also, I fit in my old clothes well for which I had no hopes.
***Here comes the decision part*** :
I had a confusion over whether to join IT company or wait for my final result for Airforce academy. The people at my present company helped me and supported me to give me a quick exit in case I get my name in merit list(in December). The biggest confusion was regarding notice period of 3 months which I had to compulsorily serve in case I serve for 2 months in my present company or I could leave without without any notice period if I quit within 2 months of joining.
I discussed scenario with my girl and a close friend and together drew out the conclusion that we should talk to the people at firm. Finally, they sorted out everything for me and decided to give me a fast relieving in case I get selected in final list. It was kind of a surprise to me as a private firm listened to me so well. We find people with values all the time in our life but sometimes, only talking and discussing things out can show us the right path.
***Spent some quality time with my family because of WORK FROM HOME facility*** :
Even in these corona times, technology secured a quality family time for me. I could enjoy the comfort of handmade food while working. Also, entire family managed to make a small talk while busy in their own work every once in a while. My pet also loves to sit by my side while I mind my business on laptop. I play with him whenever I take short breaks in between. There is a harmony in environment, and mental peace is also there while I work these days, all thanks to mighty machines and organization.
I have been away for a month but missed writing a lot and today, while I took a break from workout, I managed to write to quench myself. Also, I love to share and read what's going on with others over here. Hoped you liked this.
Hoping to write regularly again now.
Thanks for reading!!!!!
Magic@<3
*A hormonal disbalance or a bond made in heaven, whatever you would like to call it, its effects will be unbelievable, never lasting and magical always. At times you won't dare to believe the dedication and changes it has brought in your personality, vision, thought process and in a longer run, your entire life.*
*There were times when you used to walk alone in winters enjoying the warmth of your jacket, or would never like to share that last bite of your cheese loaded pizza with anyone, only you become enough mad in love that the pain of other half is dominant to yours. Their suffering needs to be taken care of first even if you have a personal issue of same priority. You would never hold back or think even a single time before covering her with your jacket soon as she shows even a single sign of feeling chilly and of course you would stuff her mouth with every last bite of your meal for the rest of your life.*
***Love is mysterious*** *:*
*It happens strangely, a totally unknown person come close enough that now he/she or any other form of love matters more than ourselves.*
*Even if you don't like hardships, pain or any discomfort in your life, now you are suddenly ready to take their worries too and love to shoo them away just to see them happiest in the entire universe.*
*Though you are introvert and sharing your comfort zone is really out of bounds as per your lifestyle, you tend to accept them as close as your own soul.*
*Talking and thinking about a single person all day long and planning like crazy everything with them suddenly becomes your favorite pastime.*
*Taking care about their likes, dislikes, dreams, aspirations and what not.*
*It can't be termed as normal and is indeed mysterious. Its base is trust, likeness, coziness which forms higher levels like belongingness, oneness and complete dissolution into one another. Many say it's just a chemical process, if it's so, it needs the position among topmost craziest, trickiest and strongest reactions LOL if any list as such exists.*
***Forms*** *:*
*Though the most common form is : two young souls dancing to the harmony of youth clashing into each other losing control several times in a single glance and felling head over heels for each other, love is not to be confused with this only. You need to be lovely to love others and they are your family, pets(of course they are family only), friends, passion and anything dear to you which you are really crazy about. God is one form of love and all of us are blessed by the divine love too.*
*As per my perspective, I really enjoy to see this world having eyes of an lover. It's through a lovely perspective only that a lovable personality develops within you. I believe in seeing it as a support system for the existence of mankind.*
*My gradma taught me a lot on this matter. She was the one I always looked up to whenever I felt low or something, she was my guide in life, a mentor who taught me super valuable lessons for life. Her demise separated us. She was this close to me that a single mention of her chokes me badly and my heart feels like enormous weight is being placed on it. Though she is not here anymore but I feel strong as I feel every moment that her blessings are there with me.*
***My approach to love*** *:*
*It's very open hearted and welcoming. Really warm and delicate as the practice of onboarding love in your is very tender and it can only be achieved with a soothing heart. You are susceptible to frightening it away in case you are rude or disrespectful towards the one dear to you. It's like planting a seed and nurturing it with outmost care, trust, affection, understanding feelings, supportive behavior and then sitting under the shade of the strong tree of oneness once it blooms on one fine day.*
*Hope you guys are true to your love and enjoying it much as you can. Love as much as you can in this one life you have got.*

How is it to be calorie deficit?
Updates on my weight loss goal, recently I have dropped to 68kgs and it feels really light. I was supposed to lose 10kgs of weight till 16th august but I have managed to reduce 6-7kgs so far. I hope, I will drop some water weight and then I will achieve my goal before the deadline.
So, this has been a roller coaster ride for almost a month now. I am so fond of greasy, oily food, fast food, pizza, ice cream and what not. But in this period, I have learned to stay away from these. To achieve my goal more efficiently, I decided to drop 1 meal in a day and have been taking only lunch and dinner lately.
***About Breakfast*** *:*
At first I was taking chapatis in breakfast too but later on I decided to stick to spicy oats only. Then after 3 4 four days, I checked out the calories on it and it read 200. I did calculation and decided to go intermittent leaving breakfast for last week of my preparation so as to lose and results amplified. I managed to lose some 2 kgs since I started skipping breakfast. Had there been no deadlines, I would never skip or advice anyone to do so. Breakfast is actually the most important meal of the day. Just for the sake of goal, decided to leave it for a 10 days or so. This way, I can manage to take only 300-400 calories a day and burn 700-800. Fruits like apple, black plum or pear are some good replacements in case you also wanna skip breakfast. Today, I took a pear instead of completely skipping it. For previous 4 days, I didn't eat anything.
***What have I been eating in lunch?***
Pulses are my new best friends now. It's not like I didn't liked them earlier, but they are really more close to my heart now as they helped me a lot to get this near to my goal. I have been taking two chapatis with **dal**(as we call it here in India) and cucumber. Along with this, a load of green veggie acquires big portion of my plate. Restricting my self to two chapatis was really hard at first but later on, it proved to be a really efficient method for me.
***Gym*** *:*
After I finish my work in the organization I have joined recently, I rush to gym and get there by 6:30 in the eve. I stay there till 8:30pm or more. Also I avoid using two wheeler and cycle to gym. This helps me killing some extra calories. at gym, I do treadmill, crosstrainer, cycling and pull ups in the first one hour. After I burn some 300-400 calories in it, I do strength training as per my weekly schedule. After 45 mins of strength training, I do cardio again to burn more. I go on how so ever the time permits and manage to burn 700-800 calories for the day.w
***Dinner*** *:*
In the days of beginning, I was taking sprouts in the evening and also decided to take whey protein shake. After a day or two, doctor said no to protein as it has casein and he said that you are allergic to it so just stop it for two days. I am vegetarian so eggs were not an option. Therefore I decided to stick to sprouts but these days, I am not even taking them for the sake of calories and take my final meal straightaway. I just take the same meal as lunch again with some extra salad and that's it.
***Habit*** *:*
*In the very beginning, you will feel like you are gonna die, you will feel starved all the time and maybe, you will even eat what you are not supposed to. But trust me, it's all about results at the end. Once you start seeing changes in physique, you will feel more driven toward achieving your goals. Just wait till you see them, even slightest of them will drive you crazily happy.*
*My heart's health has improved since I got into this habit. I can run 3-4 kms now and am really a lot more confident then I was before. Just don't be tough on yourself in the beginning only and soon you will start feeling a lot better. Till the end, you will get into it completely and will really enjoy the feel of it. I am also planning to include gyming as a daily habit even after I achieve my goal and get done with my medicals.*
*Invest in yourself, after all your sole aim is to achieve overall productivity while on this earth. Big things are all about that extra mile you go for your goals, if you think you can, you will surely achieve it.*
*Thanks for reading!!!!*
*Thanks Unsplash!!!!!!*
Starting a new job in IT and pandemic
You can congratulate me guys as I have started my first job in an IT company(Apisero) which works on MULESOFT(An integration software basically) and many other softwares. Actually, four of us from college got placed here and since it is pandemic out there, we are working from home for now. I joined on 6th august and am still in training period. Soon I will be able to share a lot with you guys about corporate life but I really want to tell you my experience so far.
***Job and Pandemic*** *:*
Though it's really good to work from home but still when you are sitting there in office with your colleagues, everything is more fun. Like there is a small help you need with your work, now you have to share you screen over video call and they will help you out but if there is some network issue, the work is gonna take hours. On the other hand, it could be resolved within minutes in office.
Also, we friends had plans of earning and living on our own. Though we can save most of our money working from home but it takes away the thrill of partying, having pizza together after our first day at work as we planned, going out on weekends(enjoying our 2 days leave) and lot more.
Sitting before laptop entire day in meeting is not that fun but still work is work.
***Perks of wfh*** : Family around you always, mom's hand cooked food won't be missing anymore, no issues of dressing and all, no hectic transportation, a lot of money being saved and many more.
Since I was used to a world carrying out day to day tasks with physical inclusion, it will take a month or two to get used to all of it.
*****What changes I have felt***** ***:***
In earlier phases of my life, we used to call our seniors either sir or ma'am but in corporate, they mentioned it the first thing that no sir or ma'am will be used. Everyone be it 20 or 60 years old will be called by name only.
Way of communication is also something interesting. We have to be cheerful and formal at the same time. Since there are no sir and ma'am, we have to show respect and thankfulness with our way of communication. It's you way of expressing only that will make you famous and known. English is really at the heart of every organization these days.
Since I am in training period, I have less work to do. Our trainer is super fun and in most of the trainings I have been, I have felt this thing that they make it boring with lot of the knowledge they have. But this guy name Mahesh is superb with his way of training and teaching. He never forgets to include jokes in his lecture and many of them. It's really fun to learn and laugh at the same time.
I have had no experiences with taxes that government deducts from our salary but there are several rules whenever we join an organization and we have to comply with them.
Some awesome portals are being used here for employee comfort and ease to communicate and control the workflow. They have interfaces for salary deduction calculations, leave application etc.
And of course this schedule of 9am to 6pm is killing as I also go to gym after it. So its morning 9 to evening 8:30 for me. Hope I get used to this soon.
***My writing passion*** *:*
I am really very fond of reading and writing but haven't done any reading in a very long time. But I am keeping my writing passion alive by addressing you guys and whatever be the tension or work, I always feel free and fresh enough to write it over here. Though frequency of my articles have fallen a lot now as I was in habit of writing one every day but I really look forward to write to you guys every once in a while.
***Few advice before your first day at work*** *:*
Just take it as a friendly advice form me and wish you a rocking day at work :
Greet everyone with a smiley face and be cheerful.
Work on your English as it's global language of exchange and not everyone at your new organization might know your language.
Be friendly and tend to reach out as you will need it a lot and it's also a general practice if you want to work in teams.
Try to know everyone on your team as it will become easy for you to work together.
Learn to operate you computer perfectly as you will be needing it in most of the jobs these days.
Try to include sleeping on time and getting up early in your daily habit and do sleep on time before your joining day. It's must in corporate life and any job for to follow the routine. It's up to you to chalk you routine in case you are gonna have shifts.
I wish you all a super successful career with a lots of money and work-life balance.
Thanks for reading!!!!!!!
Thanks unsplash for free images always!!!!!

Cycling, Awesome place and Injury
I am longing to write this from morning now and really want to share this with you all. I have been working hard with physique these days and decided to take a ride with my friend to a place named **Maldevta** some 16 kilometers away from my place. Though I live in a big and bustly city but there are lots of beautiful places around if we go out of city.
On today's fine morning, my friend got me up to take a ride and I put on my shoes soon as he called me at 6 : 30 am. Though it's a bit late to be called as a morning ride but sky was kind of overcast so we decided to set off. We met each other at 7 : 00am and started peddling with friendly chitchat.
After peddling for some 10kms, we got out of the city. Though the weather was already super cheering and air was fresh, it got even better after crossing the traffic inside. We cheered each other and especially I cheered Arvind to pedal till he dies because we need to make it to that place. I really love water and **Maldevta is the nearest place where we can find rivers especially in this time of monsoon when day is cloudy and sunny at the same time, we can see crystal clear water over there and maybe take a dip in it. I just love to sit by water and hear different sounds of nature(birds, water flowing etc).**
I was hell bent on reaching there and we actually made it. Enroute, we grabbed some buttermilk to refuel ourselves. This is to be noted that we were extra careful about the calories so didn't take any other cold drink but buttermilk.
Our hard work paid off and when we reached there, it was mind blowing, beautiful and clear water than all the other days.
Some pictures from the day :
**It's really amazing to see a lot of people cycling these days. Trend of cycling has taken hold again in my city because of covid lockdowns and morning being only time to get out of day in less crowd. Soon as govt. gives restrictions in guidelines, people manage to hit roads with these amazing invention of human with their nears and dears.**
**At this point, we almost gave up but this sky didn't let us. And we kept on going and going, motivated by the winds and friendship. It's always good to explore places you love with best of your mates.**
Soon, the sun showed up amidst the clouds and it was getting hot. Arvind suggested for us to take a dip in and we managed to take off our tees and sat in it. Our muscles really got a cold water therapy and the grind due to scorching heat started healing. We enjoyed icy cold water for like 20 minutes and cherished it a lot. When we left off, we really felt nice as we took some time to dip in as the sun got brutal but that chill saved our asses. It also made us feel refreshed beyond measures.
We really struggled on our way back as we were really tired and when I made it to home, it was already 12 in the afternoon.
*****The Sad Part***** ***:***
Ever since I got back, my calves are dead, I can't use my heels to step on floor. It's only on my toes that I can walk and I really feel lots of pain when I try to put my weight on all of my feet. The calves were already effected by the leg day when I hit gym on last Friday and today I surely overworked them. It feels like hell when I try to extend my full leg and try to walk normally. I don't think it's gonna get any better till 2-3 days and though the day was super awesome but I feel bad about it as I have a medical exam to face from 16august onwards and I wouldn't be able to go to gym or for that matter, participate in any physical activity till this gets better. I can't improve my BMI(Body Mass Index) any more. Just praying for it to get better before 16th.
Update : For those who read my last article about weight loss, I managed to reduce 4 kgs in 20 days. If I can, you too can. Go guys and don't be foolhardy to overwork your parts like me.
Hey lively people, thanks for reading!!

When you meet after so long
A story in which two souls meet almost everyday, share their every second with better half without any second thought and admire each other's presence more than anything in life is a fairy tale. Many of us have lived or are living fairy tales but such romances have their dark times too. These dark times are of separation, desperation, exasperation and what not. We miss and pray to met them soon, to smell that dearly fragrance of theirs, to touch and feel their physical presence, to admire them and thank yourself for having them in your life.
When such moments arrive, we really can't contain ourselves. Plans being laid out and chats are full with messages portraying dreams coming true, finally both of them can write : meet you tomorrow. It gives us wings, heart beats on cloud nine, body dances on a really happy harmonic music imaginarily playing in ears and **OH MY DEAR GOD,** the preparations before meeting them can't just be enough.
Meeting place being decided mutually, meeting time is such that maximum time can be spent with each other, both working on themselves for a superb and attractive look : really fine grooming, resources being put in place(vehicle, accessories etc) and above all the clothes to be worn : they are really super special. The night is gonna be long as wait is really really remarkable. Reminding the good old days with every twist and turn in bed and imagining seeing them again on the following day.
The day finally arrives. All the arrangements being made, the pious morning bath in which extra caution is taken to rub every single place marks the excitement to meet. While getting in attire, every effort is made to outstand every single look of ours till now. Scent being used but excessively on this day, after all every body part deserves to speak for itself and there we shoot offfffffff. Sometimes it's a simple lie that I am going to this or that friends party or something but "**the lie which settles someone's house is not a lie after all".**
And that glow, that glorious smile, that flawless attitude when first glances being exchanged, all the pain, wait, miseries, worries vanishing with just a sight. That belongingness is unexplainable and among all the relations that exist, it's one of its kind. When first touch takes place, it heals all that needs to be. It's being set right and mind achieves a totally different state of peace in celebration.
Sitting pillion, celebrating love is all that takes place along the way after it. Talks of the times when we were away being exchanged, they are endless and when you find just right person to listen them all, what else is needed. The couple will enjoy, laugh, dine now and will leave the rest as it is for these moments as they are in their own world now and want time to stop.
Distances are something of which we are afraid,
We often feel low and gloominess laid,
Times appear dark and their memories in mind,
World at times feels like a sick grind..
Calls and chats are biggest savior,
And video calls keep you connected to dear..
But love grows stronger and stronger with time,
And soon the pain becomes sublime..
Wheel of time runs in favor,
They come back and you again plan endeavor...
And there is no pain that love can't resisit,
Its unbelievable strength always persists<3
To all my mates out there, who are away from their loved once and having hard time facing it, times will change and love will get even deeper. More power to you all and blessing for a superb future full of surprises and achievements.
Thanks for reading!!!!
Keep loving<3
Challenge : Weight Loss
This cursed corona not only brought disaster by death tolls only but also by it's many other physical and psychological affects. Many of us face mental trauma because of new off track life in dwindling economy with their businesses being operable on a small scale only, others are sick of missing normal social life. Among all these issues, a major one is most of us putting on weight. In these quarantine times, we have been sitting home doing very less for our body and eating to our full. Work from home also promotes this and gives us liberty to eat much as we want same time as we do our work.
Pizza is just a phone call away, chips have been bought in stock already so as to fulfil any unforeseen cravings, ice cream and cold drink are resting in fridge and we tend to eat anything anytime we want. On the other hand, outdoors are a dream now, gyms keep on closing and opening as per govt. guidelines and not everyone has enough motivation or arrangements in house to work out. Also, not everyone of us knows correct form for workout. I myself put on 15 kgs weight in lockdown period and I am really struggling to shed it off since gyms have been opened again recently in my state.
***My approach towards this issue*** :
I have been handling this very rigorously since 16th of JULY as I have a deadline for my medical and I need to correct my BMI.
*****What have I been doing?*****
****Running**** : I almost burn 200-250 calories on treadmill running 4-5 kilometers. Its like I first burn 150 calories and then go do strength routine. After hitting schedule, I again rock on treadmill to burn another 100 calories or more.
****Cycling**** : In the first week, I could lose only 2 kgs. Therefore, I decided to go for cycling in the morning. Though I have been done this on two mornings only but I really look forward to it.
****Gym schedule**** : I have been religiously following schedule of hitting one part a day along with cardio. I have been doing chest, back, bicep-triceps, shoulders, legs on different week days. This way, I manage to burn more calories other than tiring cardio. On a harsh day, I manage to burn 500 to 700 calories or more.
****Food**** **:** It's not easy to lose weight while on a normal diet. You need to go calorie deficit to see changes fast. I have been eating liquid food majorly. I have cut off oily food, fast food, chips, bread, milk products from my diet for now and I am vegetarian too so not consuming any of non-veg. I have been taking pulses, sprouts, fruits, 2 chapatis at a time, salad and low calorie food these days. If you burn more calories than you consume then you become calorie deficit. In such situations, body consumes fat deposited in it to produce energy and weight loss takes places.
***Positivity it is bringing in*** *:*
With falling weight and growing muscles, there is a rise in confidence. I have felt this myself. Few days before, I could feel my fat while doing any activity, I couldn't run and even when I used to try, I would just tire myself out in few minutes. I was only consuming lots of fats and was not paying any heed to my inner health.
In very few days only, I have managed to change this by 30% atleast. Now I can run 4-5 kms with some breaks in between, I can participate in cardio sessions and I really feel mentally empowered after this. Workout brings mental peace and physical confidence. It brings charm to persona and I have started fitting in my clothes which were being discarded 10 15 days ago. I couldn't wear jeans due to uneasiness I would feel in it but it is also changing now and I really look forward to play football again. With rising stamina, I can participate in my favorite sport soon as I get a chance.
I hope that I will drop my weight in the range of 60-65kgs soon and I know you guys are also working towards your awesome health.
As wise people have already said :- "**Health is Wealth!!!"**
Thanks for reading guys!!!!!
Keep burning keep flourishing!!!

A whole different experience : Selection for Airforce
I have been away from the platform for a couple of weeks now. I really missed writing a lot. Where have I been is a question I will be answering all through this article and hope you will like reading it.
***You never know what is gonna happen next*** *:*
I am a computer science undergrad who was gonna start a techie life in private sector to join a normal 9 to 5 job. I had applied for job profile of an engineer at Indian Airforce and gave an exam named AFCAT(Airforce Common Admission Test). I also had no idea about applying for the role but a close friend of mine informed me about the same and there was just one day for the forms to close. I applied just a night before and was really unsure about the syllabus and all. Also the exam was 2 3 months away. I just applied out of every other fresher applying to different positions in order to secure a good job. Soon the exam took place and it was so compatible with my course study that I had to put no extra efforts in preparation. The result was soon out on one normal wintry day back at corona times when we were gone back to college.
I happened to cleared both the general and engineering test cutoff and now was the most important part of it i.e. the **Service Selection Board(SSB). In these boards, they check that do we have qualities for becoming an officer and it is done through three pronged method of testing. There are centers all over the country for selection in armed forces in India called SSBs. For Afcat exam SSBs, we have four AFSBs(Airforce Selection Boards) here and the place which I chose as my center for testing is 1 AFSB Dehradun which is my city Dehradun only. This way I didn't need to travel like others who were there from several kilometers away(different states of country).**
***Three Pronged Testing*** :
Prior to this testing, I would like to tell you all that it is a 5-6 day procedure and either aspirants go back to home on first day after screening(only screened in candidates go further for testing) or after 5th day on getting selected(recommended) or conference out(rejected). On the very first day, we had to report before 6:30 in the morning and there was a general identity verification. Then we were provided breakfast and instructions for the upcoming events. For screening, there were two tests OIR(Officer's Intelligence and Rating Test) and the second one is PP&DT(Picture Perception and Description Test). In OIR, we are given two test of 40 questions each having reasoning and we are given 17 minutes for each of them. Second test is PP&DT in which we are shown a picture for 30 secs and then we are supposed to write an story on the observation we made in it in following 4 minutes. We also have to narrate the same story in the groups of 8 each and then the group has to arrive on an consensus about the story. Those wo pass OIR and also write a factful story as observed from the image, narrate it well and help reaching in consensus about the story get screened in. I got screened in and was happy that I wouldn't be sent back to home after all the previous month preparation and expectations of family.
The first day was really hectic and all over mobile phones and gadgets were taken away on this day only. We all were left with our clothes and other accessories of daily use only. After getting screen in, there was a document check immediately and then we were divided in groups of 8 each. We got along quickly, 8 of us shared rooms together and luckily, my friend was there in my group with whom I registered for this exam. We shared a room and like old times back in college, we got to spend time bouncing around. Actually all 8 of us made friends very quickly and we got along like we already know each other. In the evening we had our first test among the three. We hardly got an hour to take rest and at 5:15pm we all assembled outside the hostel area we were staying in.
I will describe all tests in short :
***Psychological Testing*** :
***It has 4 test in it the first one being TAT(Thematic apperception test) where we were to write 11 stories seeing one image in 30 second then writing story and same for all the others. The 12th one was a blank slide and we had to write a story of our own.***
***In this testing only, there were three other tests. Their names being WAT(Word Association Test), SRT(Situation Reaction Test) and SD(Self Description).***
***In WAT there were 60 words each flashed on screen for 15 secs and we had to write a sentence for each.***
***In SRT, there were 60 different situations given to us and we had to write the first response that comes to our mind for each. We were given 30 mins to finish all of those.***
***Psychological testing went on for somewhere form 2.5 to 3 hrs.***
***It's hard for me to explain how they assess our minds through these tests but you can google about each one of them and there you can read descriptively about each one of them.***
We were there from 6:30 in the morning and the day was called off at 11:00pm with a personal information form filling after the test. We went to our rooms and discussed the day in brief. Tried to know each other and soon went to sleep.
The next day was a break for half of our group while half of us had their interviews scheduled. Each group had one day as break day and it was super boring as we couldn't go out due to rain. It's not like we were allowed to roam out but we had playing time in our schedule and there were great arrangements for the same there. But rain spoiled all of it. We played ludo which we got issued from the authorities there.
Meanwhile we became friends and the bonding was so strong that we wanted all of our group to get recommended. We had this in mind all the time that it would be a historical event if we all from same group got recommended at the SSB.
***Interview Day*** :
The third day was interview day for half of our group. All of us who had interview scheduled got up at 5 in the morning and then got freshen up and ready in the formals with our shirts tucked nicely, ties in place and shoes shining black. We all took breakfast and left to the waiting room after our hostel in-charge addressing us at 6:30. My turn came at about 9'o clock in the morning. To my surprise, I had two interviewers ready to kill me. They made sure to make me comfortable and then rapid fired me with a set of questions ranging from my hometown, family and friends to my professional and personal life in a deeper way. ***The interview went on for an hour straight and they left no chance to test me about who I am and am I even a truthful person and are my answers in accordance with the self description I wrote in psychological testing.***
They also asked questions like what kind of talks you have with your parents, your bond with your brother, about my pet : shedding season and breed and all other things to know me at a personal level. It went hard sometimes when they got fixated at a point to obtain the answer out of me and it was all so sudden and rapid that any person had no chance to frame a lie as an answer for any situation.
***The Final Two Days : Group Testing Officer's*** *:*
This was the final day and now our group was to be tested for coordination, commanding skills in a group as well as an individual, our communication skills, our discussion skills in a group as well as manners and mannerisms, our keenness to participate in tasks, sharpness to hear the instructions and above all how well we get together as a group and how hard we try to support all others while expressing ourselves.
They had a series of tests planned for the same :
***The first test was Group Discussion in which wasn't to be mistaken for a debate and the ideas were to be put across humbly and in a manner so as not to cut other guys or not let them put their opinion.***
***The second test was Group Planning Exercise and it was like we are shown a map for five minutes and the officer described all the locations and objects in it. Then he gave us a situation in which we had to use the resources and locations shown in the map and provide a solution about the same problem. We were explained the problem by officer for five minutes after the map being shown and then we were given 5 minutes to read the problem and have a look at the map at same time. Then we were supposed to write our solution about the same in the next ten minutes. Cadets had to discuss their solutions after it and then had to give a solution with group consensus in 3 minutes. We did everything but were unable to propose a workable group solution.***
***It was the time to get our hands dirty now. The next exercise was Progressive Group Task. In this, we had 4 obstacles in front of us and we were given helping materials(a plank, a rope, a wooden rod and a load to carry to other end). We had to propose a solution and entire team was supposed to cross the obstacle. Every obstacle had a start and a finish line and we couldn't touch the ground after the start line and before finish line. We could only bridge those obstacles and make our path to the finish line. It was fun and we had 45 mins for all four of them. We did it with flying colors.***
After PGT the day was called off and we were supposed to perform three more tasks on next and final day.
***The Conference Day*** *:*
It was day of decision. From 6:30am in the morning, we were escorted to Ground Task area for three of our remaining tests and after it, we were supposed to rush for conference where the SSB senior officers would have a final talk with us.
At 7:15 we were ready and the tests were :
***Half Group Task was the first one. We had already participated as a group of 8 in many of the tasks and the purpose of test as told to us was to test the group in halves so that those who couldn't perform or show their skills would now get a fair chance to showcase themselves. The group were divided in two comprising of 4 and 4 members. We were given only one obstacle and we had to do it in 15 minutes.***
**Lecturette. In lecturette we were given a chit on which four topics were written. We had to choose one topic and think on it for 3 minutes. Then we were given 3 minutes to speak on it in front of our group. While one reads the next one would go with his chit and utilize those three minutes for analyzing and choosing his topics. The exercise really went well for me and I chose my topic : "Dress Code" which was easiest of all.**
**The next task was command task. After diving group in halves, it was time to further analyze each person's skills individually. In this, every person has to be a commander once and was given an obstacle. He could choose any two members from his group for help and was supposed to cross the obstacle with the help of helping material. He could take no intellectual help from the helpers and would only give them commands to bridge the obstacle. Every cadet was commander for 15 minutes. He had to bridge across the obstacle and was supposed to carry the load safely to the finish line.**
**This was the last minor task to ease off the tension of performance from our heads. We were again assembled as group and was given a final obstacle to bridge through. We did it nicely.**
We went back to our rooms, got dressed up in 15 minutes and were back in the reporting area. All of us were escorted to the waiting room and were called one by one for conference. Conference was a short conversation between management of board and candidates which went on for hardly 1 min. We were all routed to the hall and once all 72 members had their conference, the results were announced.
One day one, there were 227 candidates out of which only 72 got screened in and on the result day only 5 got recommended. It was a proud moment for me when they called out my chest number in front of all other cadets and aspirants. I was one of those 5 chaps who will be having their medicals to check our fitness for the armed forces.
I had a very unique and different aspirant of living in a military establishment and coordinating with people I had known for 5 days only. It was really one of its kind and I was lucky and deserving to have been recommended in the first try only when there were 15 times repeaters competing with me.
Thanks for reading!!!!!

Love vs Corona
Corona times are sick and weird in the sense that they have already inflicted a lot of damage on humankind and economies and have forced to stay all of the world inside. Who would have thought, there can be a virus which can stop people from mobilizing. This drastic change in our everyday lives has affected our work life, habits, religious activities and of course, socially illegitimate love i.e. unmarried couples who are having hardest times throughout their lovely chemistry staying away from each other. Of course I am not talking of countries here where parents are open minded and know about love life of their teenager or fresh adult children but countries where families are conservative and **love thrives under canopy of hideouts (restaurants, colleges etc), friends support and self belief.**
To understand the plight for such kind of lovers, I would like to tell you all about the dear meetings and ways to execute them prior to corona and how all of it has changed :
***Colleges*** :
A place where one goes to study and finds a established society of its own. In case of residentials, first day is like a new resident in colony and last day is like one having a mark and impact of themselves on other's heart. Many love stories start over here only, daily meetings in college canteens, walks in the parks or grounds or famous couple spots(obviously known to students only), participating in various activities together like fests, projects, studies, lab work etcetera and since colleges are closed due to **our one and only novel coronavirus, it is undeniable how much disheartening it is to those lovers who are missing these activities and every day passed is one which can't be restored or relived.**
***Living in same cities or colonies maybe*** :
I am talking about a bit mature love over here and not immature like the school crush. Couple living in same city pursuing their education or work from different or same places would often go to places after work or classes. They used to enjoy local delicacies over cozy chitchat, would go for rides or drives with each other and would sometimes plan weekends together after making some excuse at home but corona has changed the entire picture. Now **work from home facility is available in many of the professions thus snatching away the together time they used to cherish otherwise. Also, excuses can't be made anymore at home as the situation is becoming dire day by day and thus, parents want us to follow the rules much as possible to avoid getting infected which is very pure and caring on their part.**
***Those separated by distances*** :
Thinking of the couples who are living in different cities, hundreds of kilometers away, **I remembered how one of my friends recently told me how badly he is missing his girl. They live some 300 kilometers away.** Though such partners were already away but their once in month plans have also got destroyed now. Nothing can be preplanned these days and travelling is advised to be avoided as much as one could. Also, families can't be told about the relation and invite them to home as I already mentioned the conservative thing. There are new corona guidelines every month in cities and amidst such chaos, distanced love is being sacrificed as travelling is unadvised. Long distance relationship ones will have even fewer photographs together now(sed lyf).
***A little something for our to be married ones*** ***:***
These people are surely having hard times accepting how pompous celebration will be a small one now with really few guests and arrangements. Dreams about wedding can't be lived now. Many friends can't be invited now. Only 50 people capacity is there as of my city(in India). Also, international travel restrictions and additional measures are there to ensure safety which have affected the honeymoon plans too. The marriages can't be delayed indefinitely too so people are marrying under these circumstances and those who had big dreams are unsatisfied undoubtedly.
To all the lovers from me, **have faith and this too shall pass soon. Corona has taken numerous lives by now so staying away is protecting your love from infection and forging a sense of care in the bond. Stay happy and keep loving.**
I am facing these situations too but technology has helped a lot. Though it doesn't fulfils the craving to the core but gives immense pleasure to see or hear from them and knowing how they are holding up well and progressing in life. Chatting about quarantine workout goals, honing culinary skills and sharing pictures of a dish we haven't cooked before, feeling calm and composed after listening voices of each other over call or seeing faces over videocall, discussing about daily routine with each other and many other activities keep us connected and updated.
**It's like the love has also become online like most of other things but unlike most of other things proving to be enjoyable and successful in online mode, I don't think love needs much interference in the way it used to be. It's true celebration is in presence when both partners heartbeat get synced and chime to the air filled with affection.**

From 90s to present : those 8 bit games and stuff
I am one of the last generation born in 90s. Belonging to that tribe, I really have seen a lot of changes going around which many of us here can relate to while those who are from 2000s here can feel terrible about. As per me, it wasn't at all terrible though in fact, present generations might be missing some really cool things in their own. Today, I wanna talk about the life we lived being in those years vs changes now and the awesome things my childhood has revolved around.
***Being phone less*** :
Back in times, having a mobile phone was really awesome thing. I have my DOB : 11 january,1999 and far as I remember, my dad bought his first phone **"Nokia 1100" when I was in third or fourth standard.** No other member had phone back then and believe me, I haven't heard of internet then. But evening used to be awesome as people used to interact and not just peek in their phones to check social media every seconds or to share snaps and tiktoks about every second of their life. There used to be no phones while we had dinner and families actually talked about how your day had been. There was also this thing that since only working people had phones, there was no unnecessary communication to waste one's time and thus more and more time for family, friends and relatives. I used to enjoy the **space impact game on my dad's phone and I remember that spaceship of level one till date.**
***8 bit video games*** :
When I was in sixth or seven standard, me and my brother got a video game which used to get connected to our television and OMG I can't tell you the feel we both had when we put **Double dragon, Snow Bros, Street Fighter, Super Mario, Duck Hunt etc on.** It used to be the best moment of day for us. We played till mom would push us off the television to see shows and would shoo us off to studies. That video game was like our personal treasure back then, having console in hands was the best feel for us. In 8th standard, I got a computer and it had good specs as per that time(2 ggb ram and a core to duo processor, Dell). I can bet, having a computer in that time would automatically mean playing **Vice city on it. Along with it, POP warrior within, POP two thrones, Mission IGI 1, Total Overdose, GTA San Andreas and many more.**
***Sassy bonded evenings*** :
Unlike present times, evening or pretty much any time in vacations used to be our outdoor playing time. While there used to be the school days, we would go out and play in evening everyday. It was games like **hide and seek, fire and ice, chiklairs, hot chocolate, chase etc while I was young and more professional team sports as I got in fifth sixth standard i.e. cricket, football.** Friends would shout for me and my brother from outside my house and then after mom's permission we would leave for nearby ground to play cricket(all time favorite back then) and enroute, we would discuss team division for the day. It used to be real fun to actually play in ground while at present scenario has completely changed. I sometime feel bad about how technology have changed those precious aspects of our life.
***Power outages*** :
Unlike present times when every house has an inverter, when there were power outages in my childhood, we had no choice. I don't know how many of you have faced this or agree with me on this but we really had to literally wait for electricity to be resupplied. We could barely manage to contact hydel department for the delay and then they would tell us that this is the fault and will take this much time to get rectified. During nights, when my brother and me used to study(6-9pm) doing homework and all, that power outage would mean our escape route and break from the mom's surveillance to roof and we would giggle and play childish games enjoying outage. I have even faced a power outage for 3-4 days in monsoon once in childhood.
***Collecting material(cyber cafe)*** :
As I mentioned earlier, phones were there and by 2010, a variety of those but internet wasn't available at cheap rates back then and people hardly had phones compatible with internet to this scale back then. Also, households rarely had a wifi connection and in case I needed to collect some material for school project or debate etc, I would go to cyber cafe, pay 10 rupees for half and hour and would download necessary data in pendrive. **Many people also used to surf facebook as I used to observe back then. Cyber cafes are hardly visible these days with internet reaching every corner and even if they are there, very few people tend to actually use them. I would often see people sending important mails, downloading software and many other things.**
***Typical 90s audio players*** :
In present times, everyone has a phone to listen music during workout, jogging or in free times also. People would just go to spotify to find their favorite songs or wynk music or i tunes or youtube music and what not. But back in times, typical audio players used to be there which were pocket compatible and had an inbuilt memory of 1 GigaByte or so. They had to be preloaded using a data cable to listen form them using ear phones. I really feel nostalgia after mentioning them here. We would hardly find anyone with those in possession these days but you can still find them on amazon.
*A lot has changed but it's inevitable also to witness changes with time. Technology has brought a revolution of its own transforming everyone at a really fast rate. Introduction of online payment, shopping, touch screen phones, tabs, computers and what not all very highly efficient and robust, has changed the entire picture. So much is going on at present that it's even hard to be informed about all of it. Being a computer science student, I am really excited about technological revolution going on as we enter in age of artificial intelligence and space travel but at the same time, I do fell bad somewhere about how kids of present generation are deprived of that awesome 90s feel.*

Thought process and changes
Growing up is a complex process involving a number of changes at different levels. All along this process, we witness changes in our body, voice, features externally while intellect, approach and thought process internally. All this also influences our views about the things in our surroundings. Its a very usual thing to have a view of yourself about a thing and witnessing it change is something that really makes me think so idiotic of me at times. It is the case with many of us actually. We grow up and realize how I used to think earlier and then laugh at ourselves maybe. Anyways, I am gonna share some of such scenarios here, hope you will like them.
***Forbidden places*** :
In childhood, there were some places where our parents wouldn't want us to go and they used to haunt us, associating them with some kind of made up ghost story or something to stop us from hurting ourselves. It induced fear in us regarding that place and most of us never cared to explore what lies there. For me, in our village when we would want to go out at afternoon(in scorch summers), my grandma would say to not go out as a ghastly spirit haunts village at afternoon and it might catch you. She just wanted to save me from hot weather outside. Now that I think of it, I miss her as she is gone and feel befooled at same time. She might be actually right though as there used to be no sign of disbelief on her face back then..LOL.
***Hesitation*** *:*
Earlier when I was a teenager, I had this hesitant attitude towards approaching people. Like at field, while going to play soccer and I would spot some guys, I would feel helpless about asking them to let me play with them. I used to decide for myself that either they are gonna notice and call me or they don't wanna let me in. But now that I think of it, I was being foolhardy. My brother always approached and they would gladly count us in. Now I can easily approach anyone for help, any cause or for that matter, letting me participate.
*****Clothing***** :
This has something to do with my very recent observation about formal clothing style. Though jeans, tee and sneakers are all cool but formals have a vibe of their own. I used to think so lowly of them but very recently, I have been involved with interviews and started wearing them. I have a few of them only but they are really comfortable and give you a decent look. I was always unwelcoming to them whenever I saw anyone wearing them but now I really like them.
***Food*** *:*
Being a kid, I avoided many veggies. I never liked the way mom would cherish eating bitter gourd veggie. I would loath gourd, brinjal, capsicum.......
As I grew, I decided to try them. Soon as I ate bitter gourd veggie with onions, I started cherishing it and would feel idiotic about not even trying it in past. Same is the case with other veggies and now that I am an adult of 22, there are only a few veggies I don't very much like to have like I still don't like beet root but I feel really poor about not eating them in past now after coming across their nutritional value.
***Having a dog*** *:*
Some changes of views can only occur after trying something out. This has nothing to do with my childhood but occurred to me in 12th standard of school only. My brother was adamant on taming a german shepherd and so was I. Mom and dad would always say that it would be a big responsibility and you would throw it upon us. We finally managed to get one. From day 1 to present time when he is 6 years old, we always have to think about his arrangements whenever we are to leave home. For his care, one would always stay back. Me and my brother haven't been to a so longed trip just because no one will be there to take him to walk. And I have come to realization that a pup is just like a baby needing outmost care and when he grows up, you need to be there. You are bound to fulfil of your duty towards him as you were the one who decided to have one. Though I am super glad when I think about the day I got him but it really is a thought changer for me about having a pet.
*****Crypto blogging***** :
To conclude my topic, I never had a knack for blogging nor I knew what I would write. I always was passionate for writing and did some stuff like diary entry and poetry in past but kept them to me or my girl only. Occasionally, I would write a poem for someone on their birthdays but never thought of sharing what I write over internet. But soon as I came across read.cash, it appealed strongly to me to start over here and finally give some meaning to my writing. Now that I think of it, I love sharing it with you guys.
I can write at least 10 more scenarios about same over here but I feel like I would go towards making my point. ***Just wanna say this thing over here and take it as a humble suggestion from a well wisher and friend*** :- ***though most of us are adults over here but still if you are adamant and glued to preconceived thoughts, try to be more flexible, more welcoming and stop whenever you feel like if you don't like it. Believe me, it works magically. That feeling when you overcome your fears, doubts and find a answer, it satisfies at soul and motivates to be more free, more expressive, more welcoming.***

Inevitable fights
It is inevitable to fall prey to squabble or fights with those in our life. Be it school, college, office or any place where you interact, you might have difference of opinions with someone or two of you might not agree on one point and end of with balloon faces. These things are common to happen between friends, lovers, parents-children or many other pairs. So what can be done in such situations? I would like to present my own pov about the same.
***Small fights*** :
When the participants are siblings, it can be for tv remote, using each other's things without permission, irritating and teasing each other purposely and then quarreling and maybe exchange of flying objects on each other. These are inevitable and I don't see a escape to these unless both are super understanding or age gap is more than 5-6 years. In case of lovers, there are temporary insecurities, forgetting important dates for both of you, priority etc etc, all these are nullified if you know each other well and express love in just right way. If you are loyal and romantic, these can be sorted within matter of hours easily.
Sometimes mom-dad may scold you over a thing but try to think about it rationally before retorting and replying. They know their chap and want good for them only.
*****Major ones***** ***:***
Situations like your group clashes in college, someone irritating you intentionally for days and finally you decided to take on, a small brawl escalating steadily due to abusive remarks etc are some of the examples. In many cases they are unavoidable and if you are in a group and in such cases, I tend to participate so as to lend a hand to my friends and save our dignity. In case of friendly thing escalating, I would find a exit asap and later on the guy with more fault or the humbler one can talk it out. If you don't talk it out, it becomes really bad and turns into cold war.
In case of parents, call it off already. They have raised you and are proud of you always. Keeping hard feelings against them is not a good thing and way to thank them for what they have done or are doing for you. You need to give them the love and care they need not the fight and aloofness.
Best solution to avoid fights in a relationship are not lying to each other, developing a good understanding with each other over time, giving time to each other when possible and being cheerful when the other one needs support and is having a bad day. Just try to be honest and caring enough, all the anger will get absorbed by love.
*****Fights on purpose***** :
These can be initiated by the people who don't like you or are having a internal conflict about you because of reasons they have. If you find it worthy to explain them them against their issues, go for it else don't hesitate to take you stand in case you think it's really irrelevant and moreover this person is a pain in the ass and had been no comfort to your eyes whenever you came across. Just don't nourish hard feelings for anyone without any reason and be firm on your reasons when you face someone.
There are fights on purpose in love too. They might be out of one of the partner's jealousy and other one's teasing but its lovely to be teased and understand that your partner is kidding with you.
When you want a fight on purpose, have you reasons and rationality prior to it. Fights for no reason are not good. Confronting someone out of nowhere seems to be foolhardy on your part.
I have a problem of being short on temper and it really makes my face red and warm at times. I shoot up without even realizing my mistake or other's. It's not good to let anger take control as it hinders your reasoning ability and thus makes you feel idiotic. What I have been doing to help myself :
I try to rationally think about the topic before getting offended and it helps me to keep myself under control.
I sometimes retort when family says something but I have come to a realization that they are right in their place even if their point it not right but their age needs to be respected and you can always agree with what they wanna say.
I tend to listen others before arguing and I also try to explain my point to other in a calm and comforting tone. This keeps anger and harshness under check.
I try to love everything and believe in ***"Whatever happens, happens for good"*** and it really helps me.
Earlier I had a tendency of having a upper hand in conversations but now I try to listen other and speak according to my knowledge about the topic.
As with my younger brother, I try to be calm, lovely, lively and understanding and he has started calling me big brother lately(FEELS GREAT)!!
I hope you liked it.

Ten times my friends had my back
Being stuck in situations which can't b be shared with anyone but friends is a common thing to happen to a person in life. After all friends are ones who know every thing about us with parents can't be involved in for sure and siblings can't be told.
**There is one incident from my college life which I really want to share with all before stating here. Back at college I was planning "a very dear friend's" birthday and since my college is a beautiful place surrounded by woods, I planned it amidst trees decorated with frills and balloons. Unfortunately, it was exam day and after the exam, we only had two hours before it was entry time for girls. I had ordered the cake previously but it was late. Also, the spot to be decorated was a bit far and it would take about 20 mins to get to that place and also, we needed to buy some material for decoration. We coordinated very nicely that day. I ran for cake at college gate while my other friends went to shop for buying everything and another group got to the place to be decorated. Till we got to the spot to be decorated, they planned and made arrangements in woods to do everything comfortably. We were done doing everything in some 50 mins and I managed to surprise her getting her to the spot placing a hand on her eyes. She bloomed like an awesome spring after witnessing our effort**s.
It's a rejoicing feeling when friends come to our rescue and it feels like thank god I have him or her or what else would I have done to save my ass this time.
In early school days whenever I needed a new 8 bit game, I would never buy one but used to run to my friend and he would lend it to me anytime. And even now, we friends don't straight away buy things when we need them, we first ask mates whether they have them and is not in use so that we can borrow.
When I was in intermediate, I had my tuition early in the morning and it's my friend only who waited for me on railway crossing on his scooter(activa) so as to pick me. I would give him a call that I will be there by **xyz** time and he would wait on out daily rendezvous spot(railway crossing).
When I was heart broken after facing a rejection, I was all shattered but sharing with my buddy @the_mariner always helped me recovering and it's him only who got me confident again.
In college, whenever I got late to get to mess, friends would save me a plate of breakfast and thus I could start my day with first meal.
Whenever I need emergency money(though it happens rarely as I mostly have enough savings) but my friends easily and happily lend me some and they even tend to contribute only a portion of it in case I will be needing more. This practice is best only because they trust me and know I never ask for it till I really need and I am dependable enough to return it back asap.
Whenever mom dad are unhappy with me and I have a sulking mood because of this situation, they lift my spirit up by fueling me up with positive vibes for future . I meet them and aura sets it right. They kn0w me and even tend to give me advice when there is any difference of opinion with parents. Actually friends are there always be it any case of bad mood to set me right and nice.
When I need a team to work on a task which is my idea of a computer science project or startup, they tend to lend full help and listen to me interestingly to improve my idea.,
When I am about to commit something wrong and we have a talk over it first, they tend to advice me about the repercussions and even stop me if it's really gonna get bad later on.
When I am short on any sort of ideas like buying a gift, choosing clothes, buying any accessory or really many other things, they help me to research and get to a decision.
They are truly the lifelines I would have expected for myself and always stand like unshakable trees when I need them be it for help or health, advices or execution. They ask for nothing, devote themselves selflessly for my sake and make the word **friend** the best emotion that exist.

Having a younger brother
Life is incomplete and scary without those who care for us. With all those connected to us, we share different relations having sanctity of their own. Having a younger sibling is one such amazing gift as they are the ones in your age group, you both grow together and share secrets like friends, annoy each other but at times stand as unshakable support for each other. Younger brother is not just a relation but lifeline for me and I am excited to share the most relatable scenarios with him.
**Childhood fights** :
I was always the short tempered one and he was the notorious one. There is always those childhood brawls and quarrels over smallest and weirdest of things. Just for instance, I would often fight with my brother over favorite sitting spot and now that I write it here, it makes me feel idiotic. We would often fight and mother would intervene to sort it out. Those are really dearest memories as the smile they bring on our faces reminiscing is rare one.
**Trips and visits** :
Going to fair in childhood, buying favorite toys after hanging on father's shoulder and trips to grandma's place in our village are some of my favorite memories with my broda. There are a lot of trees of mango, guava and oranges back in our village and we used to climb them for no reason and spent hours over there in childhood. The tree used to be laden with guavas and we used to eat lots of them.
We were always so excited to visit the fair in our small town Srinagar as it is held once in year only and we really enjoyed giant wheel, colombo, tea cup ride, mini train and many more. Dad used to let us buy tickets for at most two or three rides in a day and we often used to get some toy for ourselves after pushing mommy. It is closest to my heart till date.
**Grown up versions** :
As we grew up we started quarrelling a lot, specially in high school and intermediate classes when we were developing our personalities. We played a lot of football together and were often the ones who gathered the local team to leave for nearest grounds. We were and are till date, partners in crime. Soon when I moved to other city for my college, he became alone and started developing as an individual of his own will. We had clash of opinions for a while when I used to return in vacations but I respected the fact that I now stay away. As the lockdown happened, I got a chance to replenish our bond again and soon it happened. We started respecting each other's space, started sharing loads of secrets and pretty much everything and he started respecting me as a big brother whom he can look up to when needed any kind of counselling or guidance be it studies, life or any other problem. It's very important to understand the psychological process of growing and respecting the changes that are inevitable and welcoming them to be closet to our loved ones. If you won't rationally think about the reason of change in behavior of your younger sibling, you are most probably gonna hurt their ego and then they can't accept or respect you as the bigger one. You need to be understanding and role model type at the same time.
**Foodies for life and workout mates** :
We eat a lot and celebrate movie nights very often. These are summers over here and ice cream is our all time love. A typical party night for us is after mom dad sleep off in their room, we download a movie after shortlisting as per IMDB and relish it over cheese maggie, chocolate icecream, chips and whatever we can get for night. To compensate all this, we workout together in eves and are running fellas too. We jog and sprint enjoying the open sky of scorched Dehradun these days and burn calories to look smart and stay healthy always. I really enjoy sharing common interests with him.
**Lockdown** :
Lockdown has its impacts on global level and many people lose their life to this cursed virus, sorry for them. I hate the present scenario too but it gave me chance to relish a time with my family and specially with my brother which would haven't taken place any time soon if it was the normal routine life. I enjoyed and knew the entirely new supportive dimension of brother's bond and love. We have grown in this period of two years as the pillars of family and I am glad to have felt it. Thanks top this platform too, I have been able to make some money of my own to add to our parties and gifts for everyone here.
Having siblings is blissful, try to understand them before judging and making distances with them.
Believe me, understanding brings forward "the heavenly horizons of relations".

Worth of basic education
Reading unwillingly for exams, going through the lecture notes and also struggling in the subjects you don't particularly like but then again, mom dad and everyone always pressurizes you to learn, to complete your basic education splendidly and expect from you to perform. At times, you really think : **"do I even need this?" Can't I just pursue my passion all day and make my dreams come true?** I beg you to don't be harsh on yourself and read my points about the topic. Maybe you will start thinking differently and will cherish studying with these points in mind.
*****A subject wise approach***** *:*
***Why basic math?***
*Let's start with crypto currencies only. There is a good amount of data visualization in reading the trend of a particular crypto say BCH or any other. Be them bar graphs or pie charts, you come across them very often. And if you wanna dig deeper into how to earn using trading and all, you need to have a basic and firm understanding of figures.*
Now explaining it on a bit more relatable level, imagine getting stuck in a situation when you can't even figure out a basic calculation at a general store while buying something or your kid asks you something and you feel helpless and search through google to come up with an answer. **Some times, it can get really hard to know how much is 9 times 19 when you don't know how to multiply or add and don't have a calculator handy.** You have to be crisp at basic calculation for sure or anyone can fool you easily. Also, knowing math builds a logical temperament which helps us many fields which we pursue in future like computer science, mechanical engineering, aerospace, stats and many others. Only if you know basics, you can aim for really big things or do your small things correctly like making a excel sheet for budget tracking for your household expense etc.
Learning it properly, you will know about the amazing theorems and equations, curves used to provide a structure and proof to every single observation in universe. The beauty of math is in the undeniable proof it presents for the unexplainable theories.
*****Why literature?*****
It will help you to have a good grasp of the language it's in and also the culture it is based upon. Imagine falling in love with the masterpieces and tidbits of writing or reading, in that case you can pursue any of those activities as full time job in the future or as a hobby that pays of like all of us here who are making crypto while blogging. In India, there are many regional languages but learning English is a major focus and all the school run in English medium. It's through literature and grammar only that we learn English and it really helps a lot at its a globally accepted language of exchange. Those who don't focus on literature usually are underconfident to write or read and it comes up as a shortcoming in long run, they can't present themselves at interviews or speeches and thus others gain upper hand even after having less skills. Imagine me writing a blog in Hindi, those few people who read my blog will stop doing it too. I love Hindi and enjoy its literature too but English helps me connect to a bigger world out there so give good importance to literature.
*****Why Science?*****
We are really nothing without science. It teaches us so much about this universe in totality. Starting from our own body(anatomy), cellular combination to the entire milky way and way beyond, it never stops to amaze us. You would be so unaware of surroundings and why things are happening the way they are if you don't know basic science. I am not telling you to be a physicist or chemist or for that matter a biologist, but there is no harm in knowing that **"we inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide" and maybe, one day it will explain it to you, why a patient on ventilator is having a cup on his nose which is connected to a cylinder.**
**Gravity, electricity, mechanics, avionics, flora and fauna, animal kingdom, human body and study of many other basic to ultra complex things falls under this subject and who knows maybe you will take great interest in it and become really successful at reasoning things and making it a fulltime job. Try it for general understanding's sake.** Imagine not knowing the reason for why you sweat while run, why you eat or drink, why you sleep, why you feel tired after walking or running and endless other why are there for you to explore. Just so you know, math is the language of science, **particularly physics.**
*****Additional subjects at school***** *:*
You must be having many other subjects like art, physical education, psychology, home sciences as additional subjects and aren't interested in them. These are actually other opportunities for you to make a future for yourself. If you pursue and try them and not like, it's understandable but if you give up before even trying, you might lose a very big chance to add some skills to your portfolio. Art can be an intrinsic ability in you, likeness towards big artists of all times : **Leonardo Da Vinci(famous for monallisa), Michelangelo, Pablo Picaso** might become your thing and will take you to really different level of understanding of this world. You will know your body in physical training and it's strength may impress you to achieve great feats like renowned sportsmen all over globe : **Cristiano Ronaldo, Virat Kohli, Usain Bolt and many others.**
***Some general use cases of elementary education in day to day lives*** :
***Imagine having a communication gap between you and your off springs regarding their education as you can't even understand what they are learning in small age and now they don't share it with you.***
***Not knowing how to read in global language of exchange and losing chance to get connected to world out there who have many answers regarding your day to queries on subject matters or general life. Though you can search many things on google in different languages but what about talking to a person who can't understand you.***
***I know many people who wanna know crypto and invest but can't understand it because of absent general understanding of how it works even after exploring it because of lack of basic knowledge.***
***Underconfident in public speaking be them speeches, introduction or interviews because of lack of power of expression risen due to ill knowledge of language.***
***Not knowing the basic unit of measurements and hence unable to imagine a certain length when told of.***
***There are a whole lot of people who know they can do the work only if they know the basic skill like a person willing to be a stenographer but doesn't even know the basic alphabets or numerals, a person willing to be a blogger but lacking writing abilities, a person willing to be a engineer but never shown interest in math or science class.***
***One can't even read a google map if they don't know how to give input to it or understand what it shows after feeding input in.***
***Investing foolhardily by trusting others as they can't themselves figure out how things work and then getting fooled by the other person when he cuts commission on returns without even letting them know.***
***Imagine not knowing to fill a general form of withdrawal at bank because of unfamiliarity with formal language of exchange being taught from kindergarten only at schools.***
There are million other instances to explain my point but I will stop here. Elementary education can itself earn you money which is a very important necessity to live and prosper in present times. Education gives you power to explore, read, figure things out and implement which makes you an asset and of course, marks your contribution for a greater good. It is like a must have weapon at least to know the world and choose your role in it.
Feel free to choose your own way to attain it, be it school or mobile phones which everyone has these days or a mentor if you can find one but it's pretty easy to gain it these days, millions of programs are there which even provide free education to under privileged by govt. of different countries across globe .
Basic education is really a key to your own expedition in this world, a vast ocean of opportunities.

Time travel to younger self
Remember the days when you looked up to elder ones thinking why can't they play with me straightaway, way can't we go to my favorite place right now & a million others wishes of yours which you wanted from your parents right at the moment. These were of course the times when you have a rose tinted view of world and knew nothing about the difficulties and complexities faced by elders in their day to day life. When you didn't have a opinion of your own. The world was just a big playground for you where you ran freely with your new shoes on or an infinitely big canvas where you can draw your imaginations portraying a pure lack of worldly knowledge, often some creatures from parallel universe, a really unrecognizable picture of some animal or a family having your mom-dad and house. This article is just a time travel to those happiest and carefree times of our life. My work will be most relatable to middle class but then again we divide ourselves in classes only after being intellectually sound and taught for that therefore most of us can relate.
*****First bicycle*****
That glimpse of first bicycle, your very first own vehicle was really a blissful one elating as anything. When mom-dad bought one for you after noticing your age being perfect for one or as in my case, after hanging on my dad's shoulder for a full week LOL. The air felt very different riding it, like you are in some other universe of your own, sound of its bell(**tring-tring) which usually gives a sense of responsibility, but just another toy and one of the dearest to play with**. Brother/sister sitting pillion to you doing back seat driving waiting for their turn was an absolute fortune I would love to experience again, **of course only in dreams now.**
*****Evening dilemma*****
Friends calling you out to play, cheering air adding feathers in nature's cap, awesome evening vibe with hustle and bustle around but you are still stuck with your homework with mom as your tutor. You were supposed to complete by 5:00pm and it's already 15 past 5 and you are already having butterflies in your stomach. Mom being strict about studies, but softest at core doing her job perfectly and finally, you make it in next 5 minutes. Heading for exits immediately and carefree enough to not even fold your notebook, organizing all stuff you used. Mom will surely do this for you too and the smile that open air bought to your face when you united with friends is the one of unforgettable.
*****All those toys*****
World crafted in plastic used to be the dearest thing. To those who couldn't afford, they had toys of their own mostly on the basis of their imagining power putting magical energies in non-living things. Getting surprised receiving a new toy from someone was the best feeling. Playing with toy car for hours and relating them with the real world scenarios from television or daily life view of roads, giving a flight to ironman in your small hands, nasty brawls with brother sister over toys when they got hold of your favorite ones and a million sweet memories. Sleeping by the side of your favorite teddy bear, crying madly and stopping only after superman being passed on to you was really a notorious act but one close to heart which mother often tells us now depending on how much she remembers.
*****Special attention*****
Crying was the ultimate solution to most of the problems. Food choices, mother getting you ready for school also setting up your backpack for the day, father playing horse horse with you, those birthday parties you hosted and been at, all those gifts and return gifts and that one big gift from favorite uncle or aunt which would steal all the spotlight for the day. **Remember dozing off on any random place in your house and getting up in the morning to find yourself in bed....daddy's magic. These things are always in some part of your brain being a reason for who you are today.**
*****Festivals*****
Spark of festivals was really something else back then. For me, diwali was the best one and I didn't even had any environmental concerns enjoying all the crackers I could. Wearing new clothes, sitting in temple for the special evening pooja and above all, waiting all day long to see the night lights which were the result of our hard work for the festive decoration of our house. Crackers were the best and all the sweets at the evening feast. We all have sweetest memories of festival buried deep down. Just sigh for a while and let them take control, it will surely cast a healing spell on your buys souls.
Cherish the memories when times are hard, never let that id within you go away. Reminiscing younger self may give some sort of enlightenment at times and you will love yourself more than ever for the inherent liveliness which has got buried within you over time.

Power of daily workout
You might be very busy in life. Maybe you are writing many lines of code everyday, are working in call centers, maybe you are lawyer for a big firm, a crypto enthusiast digging through web for curiosity driven research or pursuing any of uncountable small and big professions out there or maybe, you are just an aspirant chasing your dreams and are busy in your lives. All of this really induces mental and physical fatigue and who doesn't want to pass out on couch after having a **cheesy meal with a cold drink after this.**
Eating delicious food is surely a good idea and who wouldn't like rewarding themselves after tiring out. But in a longer run, it really makes you chubby and undesirable fat keeps on accumulating in body. Body will bec
ome bulky and slow in physical movements. You will start losing flexibility, grow out of standard sized clothes, sweat will start irritating you and at times, haunting you. Corona has got us all locked up but one day, we have to go out like normal times and I am pretty sure, it will be a strange feeling filled of fatigue caused by motions. Some us of may even develop a complex about how they have started looking a lot healthier.
I am not talking about doing intense workout and life a lots of weight, go on diet and all sort of things a typical bodybuilder does. For some them, even the idea of eating so much carefully will scare the shit out of them and also, not everyone has got a lot of time to themselves in buzy-peezy world these days.
***What actually is my point?***
I am suggesting everyone to devote a small fraction of their free time to any form of physical activity they enjoy and suits there age group. Be it dancing, yoga, running, skipping, lifting, cycling, zumba, walking or you may adopt any of 10 minutes cardio workout videos out there on YOUTUBE. They will help you to bring a positive change to your physical and mental health. Doing a bit of cardio will pace up the flow of blood in your body and will you in keeping check on escalated calorie intake due to corona crisis and lockdown. I don't wanna go down the lane of horrible after affects of consuming and not exercising but **I just wanted to give a gentle reminder about investing in yourselves for a healthier and happier tomorrow.**
***What inspired me to publish this?***
I myself was following the home workout routine for past month and it really cheered me to feel my muscles again. I have put on a lot since last year, my weight went all the way up from 60 to 75 **KGS** but whenever I get time, I work on myself and try to keep my muscles visible. It's only this time that I got a full month to invest on myself and changes are really good be them physical or mental. I always feel good to have strength and it keeps self confidence up.
Below are some YOUTUBE channels I have followed for short interval workout routines :
**THENX**
**Rowan Row**
**Yatinder Singh**
*****How to be determined?*****
You can follow the **"THE 21 DAY THEORY OF HABIT"**. It means to do a job steadily for 21 days for dedicated hours every day with no skips and you will become used to it. It really pushed me today as I worked out for a month and then was busy for last 3 4 days but I really felt uneasy as it was in my habit now and as a result, I went for a run today. It is miraculous and you can try it out to see for yourself.
Give it a shot, add workout to your daily schedule. You don't need to tire yourself and you all yourself know the advantages of workout and disadvantages of keeping no check on eating so I really don't wanna mention them. This post is anyways a gentle reminder **#issuedininterestofcryptominds.**

For those who love mountains
*My birthplace is a small city, Srikot located in Northern part of India. Being brought up in mountains, I have an intrinsic connect with them and they are so dear to me. I received my formal education in different cities namely Dehradun, Srinagar and Pauri but one thing was common, they all are mountainous regions with beautiful landscapes covered in lush greenery and river Ganga flowing through their hearts.*
*I have also visited many other cities surrounded by mountains & established on them only. My village also is one of the places established on hills. I really love the feel of mountains, friendly and simple people engaged in small occupations, fresh water, rich flora and fauna, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, winterline, majestic sky and many other flavors of life in their true form.*
*Mountains are majestic and once we live here, we won't like it anywhere. They might be harsh in terms of winters and water scarcity but are very humble when it comes to teach you the basic elements of nature.*
***How is it so?***
*If you have been to mountains or belong to mountains, you definitely know the feel of cooking on woods. Every evening of life is a bonfire for us dwelling in mountains. Fire is the force of life be it winters or cooking or to guard against animals, it is a powerful form of energy.*
*Connection with the soil is something we cherish here at mountains. People love farming, there are houses made of special types of soil having a scent of their own. This develops a lifetime bond and makes our heart rooted to these mighty walls of nature.*
*Domesticated cattle is backbone of households in mountains. They are tamed for milk, ploughing fields and many other religious purposes. There is ample grass for them to feed on and from where I belong, we worship our cattle for providing this much to us. They are a form of god to us. Also in Indian mythology, cow is treated as goddess and worshipped from heart.*
*We mountain dwellers bloom with the help of natural forces and respect them with all our souls.*
*****Simple people*****
*I have come across very simple people for the entire duration I have spent in mountains. They are very lively and helpful. Where ever I stayed, crime rate is still 0 till date and people are engaged in simple professions. We are farmers, small businessmen, dairy farms, stores for day to day needs, some people working in government offices, people engaged in government policies to make both ends meet(MANREGA etc) and generally there is enough for every family to eat and live as every family has land to grow their own crops. I have had a very profound experience of talking with people in my region and they are always funny and simple in nature of their talks, there are no complexities in lives and everything is sorted. We really believe in god as supreme strength and lots of temples are there to pay our obeisance to the almighty.*
***A day in mountain***
*I have spent 100% of my life in mountains so far both in busy cities and serene villages. For the village days, there is cool breeze both in evening and the morning. You would never need a fridge for stuff, cold water supply is always there in pipelines or natural sources. In summers, weather is fairly hot but temperate comes down as the sun sets unlike cities where you need air conditioner to make your nights cool. In winters, you can cherish direct sunshine and evening really brings drastic fall in temperature. I still remember sitting by my grandma's side while she makes a fire when sun used to set and all the family members getting ready washing their hands, feet and face to get themselves packed inside houses or kitchen outside house made of soil where we had our fire setup for cooking. We really enjoyed eating around that fire a lot. Nights are always cozy be it summer or winter. In summers, cool breeze took control at night to soothe souls while wintery night's fun is all attributed to fire and comforting blankets & clothes.*
*There is a whole set of qualities these mountains have developed in me. They always teach me to stand mightily in chaos deflecting all that is bad. They have taught me to be fresh, lively and cheerful. The sanctity and serenity has been locked in my soul just by living here and I seek their refuge when there is a turmoil in my life. The always stay composed like mature of all.*
*If you have spent enough time with these, you will learn to communicate and receive instructions too. Birds, splashes of brook's water, rustling leaves and sharp sound of wind being their voice and weather being the emotions. Their nature, bold and caring like combined mother and father's love being harsh while providing all the basic needs in form of herbs, fresh air, fruits and vegetable, timber and what not.*
All they need is a little care and caution on their part so that the may remain pure and mighty as always. Do not pollute them, they love to be clean. Their wrath is something you really don't wanna face.

View from an Indian house's roof
Many of you sure are fond of visiting countries around the globe and if you tend to explore them at very core, you are so like me. While I was on roof today, this very idea of capturing my place and sharing with you all came to me. As it was a post rain environment, everything appeared cleansed and beautiful so it the view was worth capturing. Also, this will give you an idea of Indian households and the arrangements of buildings here. Though my city is not fully planned but some **mohallas(arrangement of houses)** are really well planned and I am really glad to live in one such. Also, there is lot of greenery in the region I live and I cherish the view with all my heart whenever sky shows me its beautiful shades. It's a big relief here today as the rain happened finally, summers were really torturing.
It's like sun is playing hide and seek with me and whenever it happens, there are really very interesting shades in sky. It's almost the sunset by the way as you can see pale red and more of yellowish shade in distance. It's almost night for this part of earth and of course, it will be a fresh morning in other one. I really love when clouds filled with water weigh the sky and make the azure color rich.
These are the houses in front of mine. As you can see, they share their sides with other houses and we live like this only. I mean, most of houses touch the adjacent one and this also shows that we have fair indulgence in neighbor's life. We really love to interact while in balcony on eves or generally when we exchange sights. Sharing is caring and we present all the delicacies we cook or buy to neighbors too. This maintains a cycle of care and positive involvement in the life of those we care about.
A row of houses in which four different families reside and to the leftmost side, a big field is there, the one which is green. This field is given to farmers on contract basis and then they crop seasonal crop in it and I have myself went there many times to buy fresh vegetables.
It's really a nice practice to buy right from field as you have an idea of how its grown, over use of pesticides, worms in veggies etc. Also, I feel like eating something in its true fresh form. Very soon the field will be full of corn as monsoon has arrived over here and who doesn't like roasted corns in monsoon.
We also have a kitchen garden of our own on left side of our house and I have written a separate article on it earlier.
https://read.cash/@DM/my-dads-kitchen-garden-964f72fd
I am in love with greenery at the very depth of my heart and it's something which makes my soul dance. It's like nature's wonder to whose grace I am always spellbound.
On most of the days, I can capture beautiful sunsets from my home only. Dehradun is a wonderful valley city in Uttarakhand state which is in northern part of India and I really witness numerous attires of nature over here.
***You might have listened of mighty Himalayas, as per wikipedia : The Doon Valley lies between two intermittent ranges of the Himalayas, the Outer Himalayas (a.k.a. the Siwalik Hills) and the Lesser Himalayas, know locally as the Mussoorie Range.***
*****My vies on my surroundings***** :
***The arrangements of houses is connected but there is no over involvement in other's life. It's not fair to assume just by look that people interfere in other's life.***
***The lane can be decorated with trees on both the sides and that is something I look forward to propose to others someday.***
***Festivals are really fun when every house is decorated and we can see them at such a short distance. We exchange sweets and celebrate all the major festivals together. Some families are less involved while some are more, purely depends on nature.***
***If you get to visit India and particularly Uttarakhand someday, do visit Dehradun as it's famously known as "THE CITY OF LOVE" and as for why so? You will know when you get here.***
***Generally the people living adjacent are more closer to each other.***
***I really love the view of mountains after rain from my roof.***
***My place is made by my father after earning and saving the hard earned money and I really am thankful to him for it.***
I am proud to have mountains as motivation to be rigid and firm in life along with soothing nature teaching me to be soft at core.

Read.cash income & additional perks for me
**I wouldn't say I make much and also, my sole aim here was not to make money only but was also to hone and chase my passion. As it started rewarding, I really took it as a motivation. The journey started and I really enjoyed it. I am not poor in monetary terms and of course my needs were being fulfilled by my parents to my comfort but then, the money I make here, though a little but is really awesome in many terms.**
***It taught me what is it to work so as to earn*** :
I never had worked and still I am employed but haven't joined yet. So, this platform gave me an idea about how do you feel when you earn. I won't lie, money became my motivation to write while earlier it was just my passion to write. At times, I just think of the content to write so that people will like it but the factor that I will be paid for it is always there. It's really nice when you are appreciated with a reward that has a real world meaning and you work on enhancing your portfolio harder.
*****Things I bought***** ***:***
Earlier, when my brother and I had to order food, we would request mommmie and she would give us some money and then we would eat to fill but the times changed after I earned here. The smile on her face when I asked what she wants to eat as I am ordering was worth remembering to my grave and I just couldn't thank this platform enough for it. Of course, I could buy snacks earlier too but it really make me feel proud to treat those who believed in me and will believe in me always.
***Awareness about crypto*** *:*
You won't believe it or maybe you will, I have had restless nights after getting introduced to crypto through read.cash. It became my habit to check on the coins and how people are making a lot out of them. I felt like exploring and thanks to it, I now know a thing or two about crypto. Though I don't really have much to invest but I will be investing my money and time on it once I join full time job and start getting salary.
*****Not monetary goals though but other ones :*****
I kind of feel like having a backup plan for money I need to buy things. Though I haven't really withdraw out much but it's in my mind always that I can buy this much needed thing once I publish for a month or so. So it helps me set small goals. Though these are not investment goals but they are really important once to me and my savings are worth a loads of happiness to me.
*****1 BCH zeal***** ***:***
I so wanna join 1 BCH club some day and it is through read.cash only that I know the meaning of 1BCH lol. I have a craze to earn 1 BCH over here only and then I surely can try investing with it. Having a powerful crypto currency in an integer value would be kind of a kickstart to me for achieving more.
*****Insight on freelancing***** ***:***
For the first time in my life, I realized how freelancing can really be a strong career option. Also, I can freelance in multiple skills after I add them to my portfolio. You would think what read.cash has to do with it? Though it's just a project to promote BCH but it's a method of online learning too. It has a an entirely different model compared to those of freelancing platforms but it is sure a motivation to earn online.
*****My thing for writing***** ***:***
Being a computer science undergrad, I never thought that I could actually pursue my interest in writing side by side. But this platform magically proved it wrong to me. In fact, it started motivating me to write. On the other days, I would just think of writing something and then laziness would take over but it started fueling me up in its own cryptoway.
*****Audience***** :
Getting along your tribe is the foremost desire of any person in any interest. Similarly, the audience over here is interested in the same movement you are, everyone supports BCH, everyone wants BCH. It never allows me to step down rather, it pushes me continue on my journey. When I see the notification that the guy you subscribe posted this, it passes his will to me too and I write too.
Hope you guys could relate, take care stay cryptomaniacs.

Relief
I have decided to post as many articles as I can related to our life in general, topics which anyone could relate to and feel like involved while reading. So, continuing in my resolve to do so, I want to ask you guys what your reason of relief is? What gives you immense pleasure?
The practice I follow in my articles is to also answer the questions for you and relate my experiences with it but I really want you to comment below what you feel about it. It will really bring smile to many faces knowing about beautiful things in your life and your love for them. Everyone will enjoy reading about the blissful possessions of other's life and it will bring some hope and positivity to those who aren't really having very good times and phase in their lives.
Some people also take pleasure in whatever they have and their relief is really a soothing thing. They are **minimalists** who can bring joy to other's life by their simplified approach towards life and can give any one a new perspective. Their comments can really add to the entire motive of writing this article here.
*****Some guesses of mine***** ***:***
**Here are my opinion about what you guys might really enjoy and feel really relieved after pursuing :**
***Wellbeing of family :*** *A happy family gathering over dining table to have dinner together is a sight which might really please almost any soul to heaven. A person, not saints of course, has his/her family as the most important thing in life and their wellbeing means all relief at a completely different level.*
***Love :*** *Love can heal almost any wound and it is surely a blissful sight to see your lover after a busy day or after being away for some days or months due to work or many other possible reasons. If you have found love of your life, you might already be smiling by now but if it's not the case, believe me it really is magical how you are relieved of any tension or load you feel after a tight hug.*
***Nature :*** *Lush green environment might be you thing to feel rejuvenated. Though city dwellers rarely get this opportunity but it really fills you with fresh vibes when you see leaves rustling due to fresh air and it is a perfect cure to all the fatigue you have had. Today only, it's rainy here at my place and the rain over all the greenery makes it more and more pleasing and beautiful.*
***Animals :*** *If you are an animal lover and have pets, you sure feel like blessed to have them.* ***How beautiful it is that they can't understand a singly worldly thing yet their pure gestures can make you understand each and every worldly thing.*** *They have an aura of their own : amazing fur of theirs, soothing sounds they make and above all, the way they find refuge in your arms and laps is so majestic and works like a relieving therapy.*
***Weather :*** *Who doesn't want a cool breeze and overcast sky when sun is in rage mode, a sunny sky when winter are on rise and of course, a pleasant dry house when it's raining outside. These things are relief too. When we were child, weather was not favorable for us only when we couldn't go out and play but now after being a grown up, load of responsibilities get a bit lightened when even smallest things like weather favor us.*
***Salary :*** *When you have bills to pay, gifts to purchase and a family to take care of, having a salary which gets to you on time is a big relief. It covers for you and provides you satisfaction as it's the reward for hard work you have been doing.*
There can be literally many other things which provide outmost relief and they really are precious to us. They really can be as dear as your toddler's smile or can be as big as a paycheck. But these reliefs are all which matter to you in life.
As for me, there are many things which soothe me. A phone call with my love, family by my side always, learning new things and contributing in projects, developing as a person, my pet all which are dear to me and materialistic things such as food as per appetite, travelling convenience, perfect clothes and literally numerous other things are there which are small or big but mean a lot and are reason for my sustenance.
I hope you all are enough relieved in your lives and are having awesome time with your family and friends.

Phone a friend
When a person turns adult, i.e. crosses adolescent phase, the ability to make friends gets developed and we mostly have found out the ones who will always be by our side be it any situation. Meaning of word "friend" changes with change in the age group of a person, as he gets to more and more in life, as the domain of his knowledge and responsibilities expand and it's no denying fact that friends are no less than family, not all of them but special ones. We can share what's going in our lives truly with them as there is a compatibility, have had past experiences of our own and there is no generation gap and major age difference between us. They can listen to you in a very relatable way and thus really act as unshakably strong pillars of support to us.
**As the title "phone a friend" says, this article is all about the day to day convos we make with our friends to feel rejuvenated and connected like the good old days.**
*****Workplace fiasco***** ***:***
Mess ups at workplaces are generally not appreciated and they are really many eyes looking up to you in case you mess up. You have a professional image over there to keep but mess ups are kind of inevitable. After a fiasco like unsuccessful meeting, a word with boss, not standing up to expectations etcetera, we always need our guy who would hear all of this and telling our thing to them means no judgement, cheerful remarks and exchange of happy & cheerful past times. It really rejuvenates and generous suggestions help us to improve and get boosted up for work.
*****Achievements***** :
Be it any achievement : promotion, raise, decision to marry your college love, foreign trip, patent on your name or any big news, it's incomplete till your "**always by your side guy"** knows it all. It gives a sense of immense satisfaction to share all your experience with them and when it's something rejoicing, phone calls add to its value by warm and thoughtful wishes.
*****Wellbeing and whatabouts***** :
When you are no more in school or college, you can't meet daily and probably can't talk daily too, you call your homie out of concern and just to know what they are up to lately. It always becomes a cheering or caring exchange and you feel connected and also, you express how you feel when they are not around anymore like earlier. Also, a call in needy days is like rain in summer and it makes you confident of the support system you have in your life.
*****Long time no see***** ***:***
Talking over about how you haven't met in a long time and planning a trip to relive the old times is always the best thing. Though I can't say it with solid experience as I am only transitioning to work life but I have had my experiences of staying away from friends for months in lockdown and then meeting them. It really fills us with happiness and feel of belongingness.
*****Decision*******s** ***& Suggestions*** :
When we need to take important decisions in our life, we always want our truest advisor on our side and in many of the cases, they are none other than our sweet friends sitting a call away. We open up to them, tell them our thought process which they already are familiar of and ask for their opinions. Why is it so? Why do their advice matter? It's because they have been with you in past and there was something which kept you connected till date, they know you. They can judge you righteously and can also be the source of constructive criticism if needed. They have an analysis of your strengths like none other and they can really be assets. Many of you might already have faced such situations and have got precious advices in making your big decisions from your dearests.
*****Pretty much everything***** :
Sooner or later, you have a call and you take it all out. Be it frustration, joy, sorrow, heart break, job or anything, you tend to say it to them as they are the one who care and phone calls are really one of the marvelous inventions of human beings. **It's really awesome "how unwired phones keeps us wired" and we can always reach over loved once.**
Keep sharing with your lovely friends and enjoy in high spirits. Value your friend's opinions too and be there for them when they need you.
With lots of love and best wishes,
Thanks for reading!!!

Funny adolescence
Strange changes in the body and intellect marking onset of adulthood but funny transitions come along and this is the most enjoyable and enthusiastic time in respect to those changes. How you and friends compare your newly grown short hair on face and are crazy about best beard, how you get crazy about muscles all of a sudden, how your ego is really important to protect now, how you feel all grown up, the thing about crush & love & attraction towards opposite gender and all sort of crazy fantasies.
*****The Beard Tragedy***** :
How the testosterone shows its magic and some get beard while some are short on it. LOL. Beard has always been a symbol of masculinity in my tribe and we really were hell bent on getting it. I got it but some of my friends kept on waiting for it and end of adolescence takes away the pride of beard away. Childishness fades away, ego is stabilized and decisions are more rational. It's only in the light & mature conversation between two friends, one would say : **"after all you didn't get a beard!!!" and the other one would reply : "like I care anymore".**
***Muscle Ecstacy*** :
Rippling muscle become dream to most of the guys. They love it for the perks strength brings along. A dashing posture, promising jawline, appealing persona, the guardian guy and what not. Many go to gyms and practice all sort of natural activities to gain them. No body likes a little too healthy person in this age though beauty comes in all shapes and size. Flaunting muscles is also the favorite activity of many males and some adopt workout for rest of their lives.
*****Intellectual shift***** :
Many of those facing this phase discover their new likenesses, start pursuing hobbies and it's like they are really knowing themselves after so many years. As for me, I discovered my passion for literature in this period only. Many start taking their studies seriously while others pursue art or other interests of their own but not like a layman this time but as a seeker and aspirant.
*****Attraction***** :
Love surfaces in youngsters for sure and this phase brings the perfect hormonal coordination to fall for someone. Also, it's not just any other love but the one **Ed Sheeran has a line about in his song "Perfect" : "we were just kids when we fell in love, not knowing what it was",** lovers are crazy about their partners and tend to do silliest of things as it's a all new experience to them. It's like a couple of lost minds and attached hearts dedicating and submitting themselves like novices and pure souls.
*****Un-stability***** :
Mind has little or no information of worldly affairs and adolescents tend to get inspired and manipulated easily. They make their own ideals from all kind of exposure they get and are clingy to pursue the path shown by them. Some of them really find right paths but the funny thing is mind isn't enough smart to make fool proof decisions and some get befooled and become prey to wrong decisions and fallen paths.
***Ego*** *:*
Unlike other phases, ego is really something that matters and even the all time great legend **William Shakespeare says in his poem -"The Seven Ages of Man" that a adolescent is ready to take a bullet wound to guard his esteem.** Any sort of challenges, competition or race where ego is involved is taken seriously and thus, it's also harmful if things go wrong. I hope, the guy finds his ideal and seeks guidance before committing anything under the provoked state of mind.
*****Fantasies***** :
Be it love, life, passion the dwellers of this group may fall prey to many fantasies. Though fantasies are inevitable truth of any face of life but these are bit different in terms of maturity. They may idealize some super hero or may fall in love with them, tend to imitate the actions of guys in animes or movies and may also commit crazy unexplainable things in love.
Adolescence is fun age as there is lot to explore but only with the proper guidance as only those have answers who have been through it, not those who are going through it. Seekers should be quenched by appropriate reasons from their seniors whenever it happens and then the healthy growth of anatomy and psychology will take place.

Precious rendezvous
One long year since the colleges were being shut off due to corona. Destroyed college life and with this friends and love birds being separated. Everyone suffering due to snatched freedom and thus, newly introduced depressing mindset. Like others, they were also not untouched of this adversity. Back in college, not a single day passed when both of them didn't meet each other but this virus has really put their patience on test. They were always afraid of long distance after college life and now when there are still 2 years left, they have to live away from each other.
Starting days of lockdown were hopeful for them. They were connected through videocalls, chat apps and voice calls of course. They always said that lockdown will be over soon but 2020 was not gonna go easy on them. Days passed by and they started longing for each other. They have been so close in past like glued with an irremovable adhesive. After classes in college, they would sit in woods admiring the open sky with their 4 eyes and merged souls. They would talk for eternity : talks of philosophy, work, life and bonds. He being fond of her hair always admired them and when wind blew them in front of her eyes, he would gently tuck them behind her ear meanwhile she sat spellbound lost in the depth of his brown eyes and there was always a wide lovely smile on her lips and her cheeks pushed up in vicinity of her eyes, red, dressed up all in **"the** **attire of blush"** suiting just perfect on them. Her specs reflected the one she adored most, her world sitting in front of eyes caressing hair.
It was 21 march, 2020 when lockdown came in effect and ever since the corona cases rose, government kept on pushing the dates, extending it. It was really helpless for the government in action too. It was June and her b'day passed already but unlike other times, they couldn't meet but for greater good. He had strategy chalked out months prior and surprise was ready but now, it has to be digital means only. Everyday, both prayed to god of meeting asap as it has been really so long already. They never felt this helpless and low. Back at hostel they were just one call away. Celebrated love was being nurtured everyday and they were so clingy to each other, everyone admired them and their love in the friend circle too.
After 5 hard months of torturing distance, ruined college life, seized quality time and digital dependence, there came an opportunity like a tiny hole of light in a dark cave. It was a job interview to be held in his city. Corona was still there and there were lots of second thoughts about the job as the money they offered was really less but above anything, they were perceiving it as an opportunity to feel each other's physical presence, touch and warmth they were so used to once. The memories of togetherness of theirs have already started to fade and they were about to get a perfect chance to revive all of what was lost.
She was in a bit of turmoil though as cursed virus was there and her parents were concerned so she thought that it would be bad to just carelessly travel for love to a big city from small town and put all others over there in danger when she comes back. Her moral values were pulling her backward and he on the other side, having his finger crossed praying for her to come. A deep discussion, he telling her to choose of her own free will, she being stuck in a dilemma and a followed silence of half an hour resulted in her heart's victory and she was prepared for travelling back to the city where her love was and also, she will be staying alone for a night at her place when the interview will be over and that would be her first experience of doing so. But she was all determined now and nothing could stop her.
*Finally in September 2020, they got to meet on 9th. He was on his way to pick her up wearing best of his formals for interview and she was dressed at her level best too. It was probably the best morning for them in past 5 months. Soon as she saw him arriving at rendezvous spot, her eyes turned teary and his eyes though inside the helmet and pressurized by face mask were wet too. They didn't take their mask off till she sat pillion to him and they got to a calmer place. Meanwhile they talked to each other with choked throats due to loads of happiness. Under a shady big tree full of leaves and to them, the greatest achievable refuge given the time constraints, it happened : "PRECIOUS RENDEZVOUS."*

Deliciousness for you all
I am very excited about this article here as it was my first try on cooking these two dishes and yet I excelled at it. First of all, I was kind of losing motivation to write but my girl pushed me and that's why I am sharing this tastiness filled piece over here. Also, you guys are too irresistible as a community and I really cherish to share my daily life and things happening with me with you guys.
Starting right away, I recently tried cooking two of Indian dishes which aren't indigenous to state that I live in but are famous all over my country and we really eat them with all our soul immersed.
1. *****Tikki***** :
It's a dish made with potato. This dish has it's roots in city Punjab of India and you can find it in pretty much every where in our country. It's recipe is really simple and you can try your own hand by reading my instructions over here only.
***Boil potatoes.***
***Mash them with coriander leaves, mint leaves, red chili pepper, salt, green chili pepper and lime juice. Also, you need to mix rice flour in it to make it crispy and it will provide binding when you will be frying it.***
***For rice flour, just take rice and grind them in grinder to make their powder.***
***Mix the batter thoroughly and there shouldn't be any lumps in it.***
***Make smalls balls out of batter and press them between your palms to give them a round shape.***
***Now, take a pan and pour some oil in it. When oil heats up, put your tikkis in oil for frying. After frying for 5 or 8 mins on both the sides, take them out and boom it is ready.***
I am no food blogger but I am giving it a shot mostly as my excitement but I may consider this future.
I served tikki with chutney(made with mint, green chili, onion and garlic. You can also prepare sweet sauce for it with tamarind and along with it, you can add curd to it. It really tastes awesome when served with them.
2. *****Dhokla***** :
Dhokla is a Gujrati dish i.e. belonging to Gujrat state of India. It is very healthy as its made with gram flour and curd. I mean these two are main ingredients of this dish. It is a sweet sour cake kind of dish and is served with sweet chili sauce over it.
***Pour some gram flour in a container. Add curd, chili pepper, sugar, salt, turmeric and oil in it. Stir it and add curd much as it gives a slimy texture to your batter.***
***Dilute your batter a bit by adding some water in it and it's consistency should be somewhere between honey and water.***
***Let it rest for 15 minutes.***
***Meanwhile put a pan on flames and pour some oil on it. Add mustard seeds, green chili, 4-5 teaspoon sugar and coriander leaves to it. Stir them on a mid flame. After a minute, add some water to it and stir it for another minute.***
***Shut off the flames and let it cool for 3-4 minutes. Now add lime juice to it and taddaaaa your sauce is ready.***
***After this, you need a steam cooking arrangement for your cooking your batter. Put a caldorn on flames and place an inverted general purpose kitchen stand on it.***
***Now add the water to that pan and let it boil for a while.***
***Now add some baking powder to your batter and mix it slowly and thoroughly.***
***Fastly pour your batter in a oiled caked tin as the baking soda will make it fluffy and soft.***
***Now put your cake tin on inverted stand and put a lid on caldron. Let it get steamed for 20-25 minutes and take it off the flames.***
***Now let it cool and after cooling, invert your cake tin on a plate.***
***Make the pieces of cake with a knife and add sauce over it.***
***Boom, Dhokla is ready.***
Your Dhokla should be soaked thoroughly in lots of syrup. Then only, you will get a sweet salty taste and a nice flavor.
**Cooking is awesome and when the outcome is good, it boosts you to try new things out. I hope you liked it and I really was amazed after getting them cooked right in first try. You can try to and there are many videos on youtube about these two dishes in case you want a video guide. Feel free to comment.**
