Being Sad for No Reason
You wake up one day and the ambiance felt a bit different. Your morning coffee doesn't taste the same. You don't feel excited embarking on the day. You feel sad for no reason and so.
While feeling sad for no reason may seem unusual, it is pretty normal. Humans have emotions to share with the world; happiness, sadness, fear, anger, and name a few. All of these may be felt even in every second of our lives.
"Our emotions are valid no matter what it is."
Needless to say, it may sound a bit weird to feel sad for no reason, but it is not for no reason after all. There is always a reason behind the sadness that we are carrying but was left unnoticed. It was there hiding behind the corners of our minds. It's there staying on the side not showing its light as it was there in the dark. Our minds never got to notice it as it was not obvious to us, but it's there, that is why we felt it in the first place.
Moreover, it is hard to feel better especially when the root of the sadness was not being recognized. We don't know how to deal with it, we don't know how to feel fine. In the end, it would leave us feeling helpless and down. Our minds will be as chaotic and we could hear how noisy the whispers in our heads are which can't do much about.
Sending love and gratefulness to these beautiful people.
But how can we cope with this situation?
Humans tend to find the root of what's causing the sadness, but it's not easy as it seems. To be a detective in our own emotions can be upsetting. To find out the origin of the emotion that we're dealing with may sadden us more. Howbeit, the best thing to do is to investigate what causes it.
"Understanding the emotion will help us to feel better."
Another helpful way to cope with sadness even if we still don't know what's the reason for it is to express what we are feeling at the moment to the person we trusted the most. Sharing the thoughts that we have amidst sadness is never a bad thing. Instead, it will help us feel relaxed and find comfort.
Just so you know, when we are sad, we can feel that our hearts are being filled up with heaviness. Our hearts seem heavy than usual. This heaviness would force us to unload it, and we cry. Crying doesn't mean we are weak. It is one way to unload all the stuff that we are bringing into our hearts. It will help us clear our eyes from the blurriness that the sadness has brought to our hearts. Through crying, we could find comfort and that we find rest.
"Cry as much as you want will help a lot."
One thing that would help as well is embracing the emotion that we have; embracing the sadness. It's okay not to feel okay sometimes. It's okay not to be happy and to embrace the opposite side of it. It's okay to break down and cry. The emotion that we have at the moment is perfectly normal. The sadness that we are feeling will eventually come to pass.
But just like the season, our emotions are fleeting. No matter how fast or how slow it would leave our minds, it will leave in no time. The sadness will not be there for long, but it will come back unpredictably; it is part of life. Feeling sad cannot be simply removed from our lives even if we want to though, but we can deal with it. And dealing with it may feel difficult most of the time, but we will get there.
Although sadness may not be the best emotion we would love to experience, being sad could yield positive effects. Just like any events that are happening in our lives, being sad has its purpose. Sadness offers our soul a sense of relief; a sense of comfort.
Now, if there comes a time when you feel sad anew for no apparent reason, try to unravel what's the cause of that sadness, be observant about your thoughts while being sad, investigate why you feel blue in an instant, acknowledge and embrace the emotion, cry as much as you want, remind yourself that there's a purpose on the sadness, and seek help if there's a need. Needless to say, it's hard to think clearly when sadness creeps the corner, but know that it will not be there for long.
Just to note, if one of the things that make you sad is about the bear market of cryptocurrency, then don't be. Fret not, it may look alarming especially the value of Bitcoin Cash (BCH), but it will eventually rise soon. Looking at the brighter side of it and thinking about the long-term goal instead would be a great input in our minds. Hold on for dear life (HODL), one day we will be glad for holding.
When I felt that kind of useless pain then I just try to keep myself away from everyone so that people mayn't see me in this situation
